Honestly, this was an overall very poor experience. In all aspects of those that handled my buying experience. There was a lack of care, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout. And I was extremely disappointed.

Terrible.. never have I ever had such a terrible experience buying a house. This is my third one and by far the worst one . No one returns phone call , everyone waits till the last minute to ask for this or that. Talked to a cpl neighbors and basically had the same experience. If it wasn’t for having so much time invested in it, I would have backed out and went else where.

Sales agent warm, sincere and honest as well as accessible. Quality great and the included items amazing - all appliances (ALL!), fully fenced, 6 station sprinkler system, Ring doorbell, pre-wired fan fixtures, oversize garage, full lawn, shrubs and trees on the lot. Before buying here we looked extensively at new homes from Waco to Seguin, TX and saw no communities offering as much as Centex.Mavera, Conroe.We are impressed and satisfied.

Our house is great. Centex probably tries to give us a great product but I could give a couple of advices: - Read everything. Yes it will take a lot of time, but you need to do it. - Hire an external inspector. The external inspection's report should have a lot of pictures (my inspection was great). - You must do an inspection by yourself. The inspector is a human been and can make mistakes. In my case, he didn't notice something that I did. - Do not sign until the house has no issues. I just purchased a home at Mavera community. Haven't had the experience of living in it yet. Mainly choice it for the beautiful nice atmosphere, and amenities it has to offer. This was a brand-new build. Initially, I expereinced what I thought was a smooth and exceptional purchasing expereince; however, after having purchased my hone, I quickly realized the shoddy workmanship and inferior builder materials used. Once I reported my concerns, the fixed issues were left incomplete/half done, less than anyone would have expected. It began with miscommunication from the initial visit to the office. The staff were amazingly receptive and accommodating. I have repeatedly had to request repairs on a sprinkler system that never worked right, broken heads, pipe busted in the ground leaking water, HUGE water bill, spoke with, emailed, wrote work orders 3X...and still NOT FIXED. I HAD TO PAY A $149 water bill this morning FOR JULY 15TH-AUGUST 15TH. The other orders, or complaints took forever to address as well. When we met before closing, we were assured that all items would be handled promptly. Someone keeps dropping the ball. It is hard to trust anyone at their word now.

I moved in April 15, 2024 hoping to settle in a new home where I wouldn’t have to worry about any issues first month of moving in noticed that water was leaking from AC furnace drain pipe and had home warranty work done well that issue was resolved. Overall its okay but they can do a alot better. Centex can improve alot by spending little more money. For example. By installing better looking electric on off switches. Putting vanity with drawers and vanity lights.. Floors are the cheapest possible that centex could find..it's only been two months plus in this house and Floors already are forming waves.
