I can't believe this whole process, from lack of communication, poor workmanship and the absolute carelessness. The sales rep team was the only high note of this process but the builders/field team dragged the rest of the team through the dirt.

Multiple issues not resolved throughout the home. Two walkthroughs with blue tape and still issues remained. Doors not properly sealing. Two of the rooms in the "Smart home" did not have the ethernet cables terminated or cut into the walls. The filter was missing for the AC, when they finally installed it, it was a used and very clearly dirty filter, if I could post the picture I would, absolutely gross, Trash left in the AC unit, and cabinet doors installed backwards, Exterior of home has misaligned panels. Seamless experience for first time home buyers

It isn’t a good time to have a house built right now. Hard to find skilled labor who cares about their product. Unskilled labor is getting the jobs moved forward at the homeowners expense. Doesn’t seem like anyone cares about their BRAND. Check out the Facebook posts of the neighborhood you are buying in—I may have gone with another builder if I had. If you can wait to build and let the frenzy pass, I would.

Save yourself the money and the hassle. Corners will be cut at your expense.

Started out great, then went down hill towards closing and after closing. So many issues with the house and taking them a long time to respond.

We enjoyed working with Lee and other folks through Centex (Pulte) to get the home we wanted in the neighborhood we wanted. Communication could be better throughout the process but it did not hold up our deal or anything. Some of the craftmanship could have been better, but we will see what get fixed when they come out.

Worst home buying experience ever. The only thing that made this experience worth it was the construction manager behind upfront, honest, and handled every issues as quickly as possible.

Back yard is not leveled, it looks like everyone was in hurry and they supposed to work the way they built 2 years ago.

Initially signed in 2021 * low interest rates drew me in* took over 1 year to complete. Interest rates doubles by then and no compensation made. Alot of issues were identified in the beginning of build process (framework time frame)which were "fixed" but are now causing issues post move in. Initially, the quality of thr home seemed great. After 3-4 days of living in the home, the real quality was exposed. Doors falling off hinges, toilets backing up, showers clogging, issues with Irrigation system, paint peeling, Hvac..the trim to cabinets seem to be hanging on with tape and glue. The quality and workmanship is very very very sloppy. I've put in claims to warranty and they are slowly addressing the issues. There are constant water leak issues all around the centex side so im waiting for it to start at my home. ... More

This centex builder is not Upto the mark. They are building the homes to sell it fast. They are not looking for the quality of the house. The engineers working for centex are not professionally qualified and they mostly don’t know how to build the house but they are doing that. They are asking the buyer to close the house without completing the home and the buyer mostly don’t know about few things and they are rush to close because of the time limits.

We really have great experience with Centex. Robyn was so helpful and I'll give Brandon 10 stars. He was very thorough, receptive and addressed questions/ concerns.

Terrible, terrible buying experience. Builder purposely delayed close because we chose to use a third party lender. We were homeless living in an extended stay hotel with our pets for weeks because of their intentional delays. Pulte Mortgage was EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE in trying to keep us from going elsewhere. The “incentives” they offer buyers are eaten up by their ridiculously high fees, so you actually net zero dollars towards the purchase. The closing agent from Pulte was extremely rude during the signing. The build quality is seriously lacking. There was no attention to detail. Baseboards don’t line up throughout the house. There’s just gobs of caulk to cover their laziness which looks terrible. There are tacks sticking up through the carpet in areas and we keep getting poked by them. There’s paint spatter all over the vinyl plank floors, and glue from the installation of said floors was left to dry and harden so we have to use a putty knife and goo remover to scrape it off. I finally just gave up and put area rugs down. The paint used throughout is a flat sheen so every touch of the walls leaves a mark. And you cannot wipe the walls to remove the marks because the paint comes right off because they didn’t do several coats. You have to repaint each and every spot where there is a mark. The joints on the plastic coated MDF cabinets weren’t sealed nor was the shoe moulding. The cabinets are tiny and do not hold much. There are no drawers in either bathroom vanity. No drawers you ask? Nope. We have no storage in the bathrooms. We had to buy several pieces of furniture just for the storage. We had no electricity to the kitchen island and had to wait a month before it was fixed. Toilets and HVAC registers were installed crooked and not corrected despite our requesting it during final walk through. Sod was laid right over the weeds. The grass is dead in the extreme heat, but the weeds are flourishing. I will say the representative who I initially communicated with was very nice and helpful and our construction manager was great. The warranty work we’ve requested has been handled expediently. Our overall experience was a huge disappointment. We were so excited to have a brand new home and that was ruined by Pulte/Centex. The overall quality of the build is very, very poor. The tradesman used are just lazy and have no pride in their work. They do the absolute minimum and it shows. Just go elsewhere and maybe pay more but have a better finished product and a builder who doesn’t play childish games with people’s lives. ... More

Overall the experience was ok. Quality of the materials used was poor. Also the whole house inside was painted with a flat paint not a semi gloss. We had to repaint the whole house. We have been in the house a little over a month and the fence is falling apart. Not good

Low quality material and ,half way down work and the contractor workers very dirty work

We had a great home buying experience. Obviously with an new home there are bumps in the road! Along with supply delays and labor shortages, we still are happy with our home and the time frame to build. We started in September 2021 and moved in April 2022. As far as workmanship issues, Centex has handled our issues within a timely manner.

Several blue tape items existed and only some of them were corrected before closing. Several issues/items still exist that were never corrected. Overall workmanship on building the house is not satisfactory. Overall responsiveness from construction manager and sales representative were unsatisfactory.

Our sales agent Myra was a great help along the way she made the home buying process simple. We did sign for our new home to be built right as delays started happening down the supply chain but we understood that. Once our home started to take shape you could see everything falling into place, the construction team we had Kolby and Ardit were to notch, they were available to take and answer questions anytime and were always friendly. Going thru Pulte also just seemed perfect and also having them handle the insurance it was all like one stop. The whole team at Pulte is great

I love my home. Centex conceptualizes a beautiful look and appeal. My concern is workmanship it was poor all around. I never had a final walk through it was a 1001 things some major some minor that’s needed repair. Everything from the walkway to the bathrooms constant workmanship issues. And the response has been horrific I’m in two months now and still waiting for repairs to be completed. From spilling paint in carpet to, to broken cabinets in kitchen, to unleveled doors and crooked trim and every crooked placed Sheetrock and ripples in the ceiling. Its the contracted workers poor installment, as if they were unskilled. It has been so bad I’m been depressed about the entire move. It was the experience I thought I would have walking into my new home. Exceedingly disappointed. Positives are the home is gorgeous the materials appear to be quality and emphasize the beauty. I just feel that the materials are somewhat cheap I wish they had of used soundproofing board or some type of heavy insulation but other than that it looks great

Good exp and great service

Staff are very friendly. Finishes are extremely poor. It hard not to know where to direct your concerns and everybody would say it'll get fixed, but that's is not going to happen. They hide warranty information, so they can cover their back. The grass in front and back yard that was installed was brown with the excused that was winter time. Spring is almost over and there are more than half of the grass that still brown (with the right watering). Also, a lot of big bumps all over the front and back yard. We were very happy with the work done by all the ladies in the finance department. Very responsive to emails and calls. As far as the quality of our home I am beyond disappointed. The longer we are here the more problems I find. In 25 years of construction I have never seen such poor quality. No pride in workmanship by some of the subcontractors. Items on our walkthrough were not addressed as we were told they would be by the time we closed and still have not been completed.
