Where do I start, My homebuying experience was a nightmare. it started after 2 weeks I moved in the guest bathroom toilet got clogged. Submitted a claim and they came 3 days later to snake the sewer pipes and with great success it was cleared. 2 weeks later I had another clogged toilet on a Friday night and paid $740 dollars on after hour plumber company. Cleared the problem again but the plumber thinks something is in the pipe and he didn't have a camera to check but cleared the clogged. Then 1 week after that it got clogged again. Frustrated with the clogging issues insisted the plumber use a camera this time. Well, we found a 2-inch pipe fitting that was stuck at the Y connector to the sewer line that was clogging my pipes. Water went in my primary bedroom, primary bathroom and the walk-in closet. it took 2 days for the plumber two days for the plumber to come out. 4 days for a cleaning crew and they still haven't fix my carpet and the wood floors. My ring door bell has been on a warranty work order since 06/17/2025 and to this day is not fix. Warranty manager that I had the unfortunate to have, made it seems it was your fault for all the problems with your new house. for instance, the warranty manager would blame me for the clogged toilet with too much toilet paper and wipes. I can see it the first 2 times that the toilet got clogged, but when you have a 2-inch pipe fitting lodge inside the sewer pipe nullified the warranty manger accusations. ... More

While buying process everyone were so nice, acting like they are your best friends. But after closing, Edward, the guy who does walk through, not even picking up phone now. I regret that I signed paperwork. A/C unit is not capable to keep the house cold. House it self gas a lot of deficiencies, materials used are cheapest and build quality is absolutely terrible. Even brand new Water heater is not working. Centex is a huge disappointment!!!

We really regret purchasing this home. It was a “quick built “ and once we moved in, we started seeing more and more issues with the home. We had issues from the very start. We even decided to not go forward with the purchase and started looking for other homes. Our sales guy was great and he changed our minds and made sure all the issues with our home would be taken care of. We closed on 10/19/2022 and we still have items that have not been fixed. The subcontractors did a crappy job on almost everything. Our ceiling is starting to crack at the seams, our stone work has not been resolved. Our driveway is starting to show areas where there was obviously “air bubbles “ and now there’s opens areas on the driveway. It will get worse with time. Even the landscaping is crap. My lawn is very uneven and when I pulled the sod over, there were giant rocks, lots of them, underneath. How is the grass supposed to root? Most of the grass is dead because we had no water pressure for about 10 days and after the plumber came over twice, they found the issue, replaced the entire piece and we finally were able to water out grass. Most of it was dead by then. A note was made by the person in charge of our home and we were supposed to get the dried sod replaced and nothing has been done. After complaining several times and wanting to speak to a manager, no one has reached out to me. I asked to for a change in person dealing with all the issues and he has finally given me a date of January 7 for most of the repairs. We plan to sell as soon as our son graduates. The quality of this home is so cheap. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on outside. There are no pull out drawers in the bathroom vanities or even a small linen closet. At least out some shelves for towels. We made an appointment to have custom cabinets placed in the laundry room, bathrooms and master closet. We have decided to just do the laundry room because we do not plan on making this our forever home. I will never purchase a Centex/Pulte home again!!! ... More

2 months in and have had more problems than anticipated with a new build. Cabinet doors, outside stonework pieces broken off, etc. You can see where they took easier routes (cheaper).

Weak tradesman. Average quality. The subs don't care. This is the lowest tier of construction quality that exists. Having said that, Pulte is a good company that really tries to take care of their customers

A few minor stuff that needed to be fixed, but everything is being addressed. Thanks to the maintenance team for all their work.

So many things wrong. Even thing that were blue taped at final walk through weren’t finished. Have been ghosted by warranty rep. Be ready for a fight.

Well when I saw my future house I didn’t see any errors or mistakes, but after just a couple days we my family and I started seeing many details and issues that the CENTEX/ PULTE trying to get them fixed, but was so many that at the end they quit and just send me to the normal way through guarantee.

The construction manager was fabulous.

Not great. From day one during walk through issues were found and pointed out. We had outside inspector come in and did property inspection. ( THIS SERVICE WAS DONE WHILE WE WRE STILL IN CALIORNIA.) Arriving here ln texas , many of the report from the inspection were still not corrected. NOT everyone involved during the process were incompetent. There would be some people in the administrative part and people in support services on repair definitely unqualified. I also feel that the person put in charge and oversee the repair is a very bias individual.

The sales and supervisors we worked with were great to work with. However, the craftsmanship in the house is pretty terrible. Cheap carpet and floors. Terrible paint jobs inside and out. Everything inside the house looks like it was done by someone who does not take pride in their work.

While the home is nice, we are starting to find minor to major issues which I will not type here. I will say that if I had to do it again I would get a home inspector before signing off on the final home inspection.

Workmanship can get better, there was a lot of areas that were different measurement such as windows. Several doors had large gaps on the bottom. The huge one for me was that there was no blinds at all in the home, it is very hard to find the all the measurements. there are over 10 windows in the home.

The build quality is not there most of the workers are drinking during the day no supervision project managers just come and unlock the house in the morning and lock it up in the evening they do not check every time a stage of the build is finished they wait till the end of the build I've never seen them punch any blue tape on the second floor homes exterior so I guess it's just what they can see at ground level on there exterior walk for imperfections both my exterior hose faucets were not secure to the 2x4 and my master bathroom leaked into my downstairs bedroom they forgot to tighten the connection to the pipe shoty work because lack of supervision landscape laid right on top of your weeds no tilling my tree died already they said there's no warranty on landscape me and my neighbor got the same keys for our homes so I went and purchased my own they said no reimbursement could be made for me were the quality and the stand behind pledge? ... Experience was well. Our construction manager took the time to answer questions made sure our needs were met.

Overall experience: Loan process: good if you understand the home buying process, it was my first home so I ended up googling a lot of information as the loan processors weren’t necessarily proactive in providing all the needed details to understand next steps. Friendly people however. Construction: needs improved communication. Closing window kept on getting pushed with no communication, making it hard for buyers to schedule furniture or appliance deliveries around it. Workmanship, overall I feel I got the worse in quality. My father and family and myself of course were very dissatisfied and disappointed at the poor quality of the work. Lots of damaged and dented door frames and baseboards. The quality of the repairs isn’t much better necessarily. Many little visual repairs were pending plus I keep on finding more after 4 weeks in. Painters are definitely not professional, siding is not neatly cleaned. Window frames needed cleanup and painters stained walls and stones with their dirty brushes. Broken or damaged materials installed as if I was buying a non-new home. Warranties were presented to me after 3 weeks of moving in and it’s my understanding I didn’t get all the paperwork I should’ve, unless I’m overlooking something. Overall it’s been quite frustrating, lots of personal time invested in correcting things, bringing contractors in to fix issues, all while trying to work and putting my house together. Lots of guessing around services such as HOA registration and trash pick up. I love the neighborhood and the idea of what my home would look like if it was perfectly done. But honestly, I would let everyone know to be extra careful and more demanding of details, quality and communication before buying a home here. Back yard is not leveled, it looks like everyone was in hurry and they supposed to work the way they built 2 years ago.

The lack of attention to detail takes the joy out of owning a new home.

It is good but the quality of the material is not good the paint they used the composite walls they come off

Craftsmanship is terrible. A brand new construction looks like a horribly renovated home. The brand new construction we closed on looks like it's been lived in by squatters. It does not look brand new. Sales rep and construction manager were very helpful. They just needed a lot of following up. Other than that, they provided good customer service.

The entire process was smooth for the most part. The builder did transition between building managers so we had a few communication break downs. The biggest area of opportunity for them is the landscape and sod installation. I am not happy with the sod being delivered brown and sitting for a few days, no top soil used, and the landscapers laying it down on rock without racking it out
