Low quality material and ,half way down work and the contractor workers very dirty work

We had a great home buying experience. Obviously with an new home there are bumps in the road! Along with supply delays and labor shortages, we still are happy with our home and the time frame to build. We started in September 2021 and moved in April 2022. As far as workmanship issues, Centex has handled our issues within a timely manner.

Several blue tape items existed and only some of them were corrected before closing. Several issues/items still exist that were never corrected. Overall workmanship on building the house is not satisfactory. Overall responsiveness from construction manager and sales representative were unsatisfactory.

Our sales agent Myra was a great help along the way she made the home buying process simple. We did sign for our new home to be built right as delays started happening down the supply chain but we understood that. Once our home started to take shape you could see everything falling into place, the construction team we had Kolby and Ardit were to notch, they were available to take and answer questions anytime and were always friendly. Going thru Pulte also just seemed perfect and also having them handle the insurance it was all like one stop. The whole team at Pulte is great

I love my home. Centex conceptualizes a beautiful look and appeal. My concern is workmanship it was poor all around. I never had a final walk through it was a 1001 things some major some minor that’s needed repair. Everything from the walkway to the bathrooms constant workmanship issues. And the response has been horrific I’m in two months now and still waiting for repairs to be completed. From spilling paint in carpet to, to broken cabinets in kitchen, to unleveled doors and crooked trim and every crooked placed Sheetrock and ripples in the ceiling. Its the contracted workers poor installment, as if they were unskilled. It has been so bad I’m been depressed about the entire move. It was the experience I thought I would have walking into my new home. Exceedingly disappointed. Positives are the home is gorgeous the materials appear to be quality and emphasize the beauty. Landon was very responsive to our constructions repair request.

I just feel that the materials are somewhat cheap I wish they had of used soundproofing board or some type of heavy insulation but other than that it looks great

Good exp and great service

Staff are very friendly. Finishes are extremely poor. It hard not to know where to direct your concerns and everybody would say it'll get fixed, but that's is not going to happen. They hide warranty information, so they can cover their back. The grass in front and back yard that was installed was brown with the excused that was winter time. Spring is almost over and there are more than half of the grass that still brown (with the right watering). Also, a lot of big bumps all over the front and back yard. quick response, great warranty, and good relationship with customer service even after-sale

We were very happy with the work done by all the ladies in the finance department. Very responsive to emails and calls. As far as the quality of our home I am beyond disappointed. The longer we are here the more problems I find. In 25 years of construction I have never seen such poor quality. No pride in workmanship by some of the subcontractors. Items on our walkthrough were not addressed as we were told they would be by the time we closed and still have not been completed.

Process was smooth and easy. Team members were helpful and walked me through the process. After moving in I am seeing low quality work specifically with the carpet, paint/caulk, drywall, and some woodwork.

There was a lack of communication, took 5 months longer than originally planned and had multiple AC leaks within the first week. It was a horrible experience overall.

The whole process took longer than originally anticipated but everyone involved is very attentive and kept me up to date.

Home building experience was good but there are significant delays due to improper planning. There is last minute rush to complete things which impqcted quality in few places. Field manager is not at all responsive for the items identified as pending in the closing. Still have few items that need to be fixed.

I would not recommend this builder to anyone. I’m a builder myself and the entire process was an absolute nightmare.

My buying experience was Centex was 5 stars. The sales team and construction superintendent were responsive and great to work with.

Rushed work quality. For starters, Paint and drywall left behind on floors and carpets, texture blemishes, sod placed over the top of construction debris and very uneven lumpy/bumpy ground, trees not planted in correct locations as per my requests. Property is constantly covered in construction trash from the centex build next door, siding was damaged from neighboring construction.

Centex was able to provide a quality house, but most importantly all the personnel that I worked with from sales, construction manager, loan processors, and warranty were so willing to assist and make sure we were taken care off.

As a first time home owner the experience was not great. Not only with the constant delays but also with the materials. With what I picked to the cabinets and floors to having to get something else because they no longer had the products. With the floors they put carpet in the wrong area therefore when it came time to place the vinyl they no longer had the material. There was also a crack in the cabinet which they just tried painting it to fix it. Also, after closing there was a number of issues. The AC not working because near the breaker something was placed upside down, my sod took weeks to be placed, the house was left a mess, and my dishwasher never had a Power cord installed. We purchased our home in Texas from Florida. Haley , the sales rep was extremely responsive to emails and questions. I asked for updates and pictures which she sent quickly. Always pleasant and helpful. The mortgage process was easy and quick. The on-site superintendent Landon kept us informed on building progress with weekly updates via email. Once we closed and moved in Chris the builder rep has been stellar in addressing the minor structural/cosmetic issues and resolving them quickly. The entire team is like a family. We are one of the first completed homes so we see the team almost daily in the neighborhood. Very nice people, and they care about what they do. We are very happy here so far. Wonderful customer service! Some issues around the house that are pending to he resolved. Was told to put in a ticket on closing day but still pending.

I tried leaving a full ho eat review and kept getting an error message on this site saying I need to use at least 5 words. I used like 200. A bit odd that my negative review was somehow being blocked. The stars I left are accurate to my experience.
