Lots of small issues with the house Paint splatter all over the floors which I had to clean up Poor cuts in the sheet rock that are highly noticeable Caulking left behind everywhere that I’ve scrapped off And when installing the the siding a nail went thru the ac line causing a leak which now not even a month in they had to come back fix the leak and I have holes in my walls Pulte is fusing the holes but just a huge inconvenience

House flooded and had water damage after a worker nailed a water line. Nobody told me. If I hadn't went to the house and saw it, I never would have known. I had to demand a mold test be done. Of course, they found mold and didn't tell me that either. I found out when I saw a moldy baseboard laying on the kitchen countertop under a vent. I wouldn't recommend centex to my worst enemy. They hire horrible contactors and they cheap out on any and everything they can. I moved into a brand new house that has paint all over the floors throughout the house, paint and mud stains on the carpet, holes in the wall where they moved the handrail for the stairs and just left the old holes, sod that was just dropped on top of dirt, no soil brought in, damaged roof shingles, crooked baseboards, and a damaged garage door. Great experience! Worth the price

Home warranty center is not good at getting things fixed. Of my list of MANY items that need repair, I don't think a single one has been completed...we've been there 2 months!!

Builders had great response during the build. Warranty people amazing while during the build. I had an issue with the shower floor, found a tiny hole once I moved in. Through this hole water was draining to the foundation. Reached out to builder and warranty people. Worst response and never took responsibility of this. As a whole, I had a bad experience during loan process and warranty issues.

The home buying process was a breeze with Centex. Throughout the building process they maintained communication and kept me updated with everything. Upon completion some details seemed rushed and even had a few issues after moving in. However our manager Carlos was amazing and has worked with us to get everything figured out and fixed.

This was my fourth new construction home with four different builders and by far the worst experience ever. All complaints are for the construction part of things. Title and sales were great!

Horrible first time home buying experience. I still have issues that have not been resolved, and have to wait days until someone is willing to fix it. Absolutely not happy.

Abraham did an amazing job keeping us updated about our house. He did his best to have everything ready on our closing date cause it rained a lot during that time. We’re very grateful, he did an amazing job!

I don’t have any complaints about the process of having the home built but I do feel like we were treated like a dime a dozen with the closing process and when we listed some issues at closing that needed to be taken care of, they weren’t. We said that dirt needed to be brought in to fill holes in the fence, never happened. We had to buy our own dirt. We listed dead grass and were told they’d come in and replace them, never happened. We’ve had to buy fertilizer and hope that saved some of the dead grass. It’s just sad that the customer service doesn’t really stick once you’ve signed the paperwork. Biggest issue is the walls, crown molding, and base boards aren't all straight. There's also sloppy finishing work like caulking and paint

I like my weekly updates that was great. I had a few issues when I moved in but everything’s been taken care of. I was very upset that at signing I didn’t get a hold of Big key or take pictures or get a welcome basket...lol I’m not very happy with the neighborhood there’s just way too many cars all over the street it’s ridiculous how you always having to pull to the side so somebody else can pass. I even paid more for my premium lot so I wouldn’t have neighbors in front of me and the neighbors down the street park all their company vehicles all right in front of my home. And most of all I was very upset with the monthly fees from the water company out here I don’t think I would’ve bought the house if I would’ve known that. ... More

Quality of workmanship is not there. Doesn’t seem like any quality control is in place (I.e. step by step inspections, etc). Lack of communication during closing process and being told less than 24 hours before closing that it wouldn’t be ready for another week or two. Left us having to scramble to make living arrangements since we had already sold our other home two days prior. Once we moved in, there immediately was a leak in the home due to plumber not tightening the master shower drain all the way during construction. This led to holes having to be cut in the kitchen ceiling. They initially just patched the holes and it was very obvious so I had to push for the entire downstairs to be retextured/painted. Had to have AirTron come out because they stripped an air vent when doing that. Still waiting for them to come out and fix issues with the texturing. Garage door was extremely crooked making it very difficult to lock or even open. Was told that it couldn’t be fixed by the worker sent by the construction team, however, I had a contractor come out to install a garage door opener and he realigned the entire door to make it function properly. The support beam underneath the master counter is broken but I have to call the warranty line to have that fixed. The back patio is extremely unleveled and there is a large dip in the middle of it. One you move in you find all the things you wished you’d noticed before closing. Creaky floors, leaks, corners cut. The lack of pride in the work shows. Getting to closing is easy and they have nice people on the staff.

First time buyer here. The process went very smooth. They answered all the questions and concerns I had on a timely manner.

We thought it was going to be great experience buying our first home. Boy were we wrong. The roof structure had many boards that needed reinforcement as well as a hole in the roof barrier. Initial inspection passed until we had our own inspector come through and point out many issues. Builders urinated in our new bath tubs with no running water. A port-a-toilet was literally outside next to our house. Electrical fixtures were crooked throughout and had to be straightened. Front porch post is not at a right angle/squared to the house. One month in and nails/screws are backing out of the sheetrock in 3 different places. Attention to detail during build is lacking throughout. ... More
