I would highly recommend our community and homes. Although I will highly discourage anyone from using Pulte Mortgage. In my experience very unprofessional and rude. Other than mortgage company everything else is great.

Centex was great to work with throughout the home construction and purchasing process. We love our new home and many of the features are excellent. We would have liked to have other options for some of the finishes (faucets, lights, etc.), and we never received a paint touch up kit which we were told was something everyone would be given. We were also given a tree in our backyard that began to die and lose its leaves within two days of its installation, although there is a chance it will come back in the spring. There was also a short delay in our keys being provided to us on our closing day. These issues aside, everything else about the process went very well, and everyone we encountered that worked for Centex was kind and helpful. Our home is beautiful and comfortable. The trades and people who physically worked on the house was very poor quality and needed to be redone multiple times throughout the whole build process. The land scape was very poor to the point where most of it need to be redone and paid for by the home owner (myself). That includes uneven bed lines around mulched areas, the dirt that was used to level and grade the yard was extremely poor quality (rocks all throughout yard) and uneven when grass was laid making mowing and yard work very difficult. This was the same impression throughout the neighborhood, also the sprinkler system was done terribly (whoever did it shouldn’t be doing sprinkler systems period). Centex was really good with their details on the home and communicating was smooth!

Good quality

The sales process was outstanding and both the sales representative and construction manager were friendly, efficient and responsive. I love the home and the neighborhood. The customer service after the sale has been anything but good. I had a major plumbing issue almost immediately after move in. My yard was dug up and almost 3 weeks later it is still a wreck and I can't get anyone from the customer service department to communicate with me as to when the landscaping will be repaired.

We're very pleased with the whole process of purchasing our home. Everyone, including the sale consultant, construction manager, and PGP branch manager, is very helpful in every step of the way.

Beautiful place to live, very nice and quiet

Our experience buying a home in Elley Crossing was fantastic! Melissa did great evaluating our needs and finding us the perfect home, not just the easiest option to sell us. The builder, Reno, went over and above making sure our home was perfect. He still checks in from time to time making sure we are happy. I recommend buying a Centex home if you are looking for a great value hidden behind beautiful homes!

These homes are advertised as smart houses, which means the wiring is visible outside. The problem is that neither Centex or AT&T will cover the wiring. Spectrum does cover the wiring with a case. Check on this in your area if you want internet or TV.

Love the home

Cheap light fixtures and plumbing fixtures. No top grade placed before laying a poor quality bermuda grass on the yard. Developer (Pulte/Centex) doesn't take care of it's designated land (sidewalks, berms, drainage area). No homeowner representation on HOA.

For a suburban home lot it isn't bad. I cant help but think could could more out of my money by just custom building slightly further out of town. It is a tract home so quality is pretty good for the most part but there Is definitely signs of going fast. They did a decent job for drainage on the whole community but they should have still put more thought into it because they definitely went the cheap route.

Constant electrical trips of water heater. Plumbing mixed up with outside faucet and kitchen sink. Grass in front yard sunk after rain.

The house is a beautiful house and we got it for a great price, but there are some things that I have issues with. Some of the walls are crooked. We had been told we would get a paint kit when we closed to touch up minor blemishes, but yet again day after day we are let down. The fininacial portion of the house was very smooth. No issues there.

Reno and Melissa were amazing thru the process of buying my house. I was overseas and saw my house the day before signing all the paperwork and the house was perfect. Thank you to the entire team you guys are amazing!!!

There are a couple of issues that still need to be address. But don't know who to contact, as we have mentioned it twice to the Centex Realtor at the new home sales office. The ground/front yard is not leveled and very uneven in many places. My elderly father who lives with me has fallen a couple of times because the ground has so many uneven areas. I have also tripped and twisted my ankle when walking throughout our front yard. Its difficult to continue to clean out the weeds because its difficult to walk safely throughout the yard. I got a great price per square foot on a new home in Elley Crossing. Unfortunately, I'm finding out you get what you pay for. I experienced several quality control issues that, for the most part, they're willing to address. But it can be a bit of a hassle to see these issues through. I still have some pending. Also, all lighting fixtures and bathroom finishings used in my home were very basic. But that could be why I got such a good price. The paint quality could be better too, and my yards are still an unleveled mess, but overall, I still feel like I got a good deal. Maybe I should be asked again to review the home in a few years to see if it holds up. So far, not bad. But I put some extra work and money into my home. If you're looking for move-in ready, maybe customize one to your liking and steer clear of the quick move-in deals on the ones that are readily available. That may have been my mistake. But if you want a great deal on the financed amount, and are willing to do some upgrades yourself, the quick move-ins are a good deal. ... More

Make sure u run the water all at the same time to make sure the plumbing was done correctly and don’t have issues
