I had a great experience on buying my first home. It was a smooth process. The builders were amazing and help me with everything I needed. Also wanted to thank Alex and Walker for always being there and answering any questions I had. They made the process very smooth.

House is awesome, buying process was nice. It’s been a bit late, but found some parts that painters missed and contacted the main contact for the project, and he still hasn’t came. I know he’s busy, just can’t even get a text back. Some spots in house are a bit off. Like the bannister upstairs isn’t level; and I guess my inspector didn’t see that. But not a big deal, just noticed little things like that, that aren’t great. Other than that stuff, I love living here. Love the neighborhood. Layout could’ve been better for sure, but it works for now.

Sales, Scott, broke everything down for us in a way we could understand (1st time buyer here) and the construction manager, Brett, made sure we were 100% Satisfied before and after the closing. Very down to earth people, I felt valued as a customer/client. Made our 1st buying experience perfection!

I was terrified going into buying my first home. We found the perfect floor plan but had to wait for it to be available. It was sooner then we thought and we were quickly in the buying process. Everyone we spoke to was truly amazing. Michelle sold us and answered all of our questions at any time. Showed us the model built at a new community. Made sure we were comfortable. Derek with Pulte Mortgage processed our loan and was extremely knowledgeable. I really felt like he was in it to help US, and it was smooth sailing through finance. Robert was our construction manager and jumped through hoops to hit our closing deadline and still build to a high quality standard. He was extremely detailed in our walk throughs and found things I would have never seen. I just moved in and our home is beautiful. The loan process literally took until the week before I moved in which was 2 months after my application. I understand processes take a while, but better communication and site updating would be great. Waiting last minute like that ended up costing more to move then if I had a couple weeks to prepare. Workers were still working on homes around me. This led to trash being blown into my yard everyday, plus waking on my newly laid sod. Which coincidentally isn’t growing. I can also say that the port a potty in the yard didn’t help, but also stunk. Maybe I am picky, but the port a potty would have been moved down to another construction area before I laid the sod and a barrier fence should have been put up to prevent the trash before I had to call and say something. The gutters are blocked with trash, we still pick up trash daily from the yard and street, and the run off behind the houses is filled with building material trash. There are a lot of kids around here. Keeping the street clear of rocks and nails would be considerate. Also, driving slower would be appreciated. Two other major issues found before I even made a payment. My handrail for the stairs is not properly mounted and the ceiling above the AC, the paint is cracked and you can see a gap. Other than these issues so far, working with Ruben and Kara was the best part. They were always available and easy to speak with. They did what they could to ensure my concerns were addressed as quickly as possible before the move in. ... More

So many things wrong. Even thing that were blue taped at final walk through weren’t finished. Have been ghosted by warranty rep. Be ready for a fight.

The process was stressful, loan process was a mess. Title work wasn’t even sent to title agent on day of closing. Trash, nails/bolts and weeds left under sod. Sod was dead writhing 48 hours. Thing that were suppose to be fixed, not fixed. Felt builder didn’t care once paperwork was signed.

The price is not worth the quality of the workmanship, finishing and materials

Well when I saw my future house I didn’t see any errors or mistakes, but after just a couple days we my family and I started seeing many details and issues that the CENTEX/ PULTE trying to get them fixed, but was so many that at the end they quit and just send me to the normal way through guarantee.

Home was built with good quality and in a timely and quick fashion.

This is a very cheap house. The workmanship is poor, the fit and finishes are terrible. They put in several hundred square yards of grass, but put no irrigation system and didn’t offer one, although they said they did, at signing. I have been trying to keep the grass alive until I was able to get someone to install irrigation. I finally got it done and now the grass and trees are half dead and I’m trying to recover them. There was no lightbulb in the garage or the garage door opener. There are no medicine cabinets, no hand towel rods, no drawers in the bathrooms, you could drive a truck through the gaps in the locked doors, they used the cheapest shingles, there was spilled paint on the driveway, and in the garage, the cement on the edge of the garage, and the front porch is marred and has overspray, there was a hole. I could stick my foot through behind the dishwasher through to the outside of the house. It has been six weeks and the street in front of my house still has 2 inches of dirt in it, they planted two oak trees, 6 feet apart in the front yard. In 10 years, those trees are going to collide. Couldn't have asked for a better experience buying our first home. The willingness to help starting from the financial aspect at the beginning to staying updated before moving in, and even the help after moving in. They have great people, thank you so much to Mike, Cody, and Chris!

Very easy, all people involved made this purchase smooth.

Our home buying experience was nothing more than average. I do not feel that Centex does anything over and beyond. We have had several complaints about our home since we moved in, none of which have been addressed. I absolutely would go with a different builder in the future. We have a home, so that’s a plus. But, there is nothing special about this builder. If you are looking to be mediocre, you are doing great.

The construction manager was fabulous.

Agent=Phillip/Builder=Kevin. Together they kept me up-to-date on progress of building of new house over a 10 week inspection. Phillip provided with regular updates with photos. I had a couple of independent inspections before closing. Kevin worked through all with me until complete. They both did an exceptional job.

This is our 2nd home we've purchased with Pulte/Centex. We have also bought a home with another major builder and there is a world of difference. While no home building process is stress free or without its hiccups, I wouldn't hesitate to choose them in the future. They're on top of communication, they're overall transparent and they care. I think this may greatly depend on who your construction manager is, we had an excellent one

What a wonderful buying experience from start to finish. Sales reps Kristen and Andrew answered all questions and were very helpful. Construction crew managers, Kolby and Edd were on top of everything. They all worked to make the buying process less stressful.

While buying process everyone were so nice, acting like they are your best friends. But after closing, Edward, the guy who does walk through, not even picking up phone now. I regret that I signed paperwork. A/C unit is not capable to keep the house cold. House it self gas a lot of deficiencies, materials used are cheapest and build quality is absolutely terrible. Even brand new Water heater is not working. Centex is a huge disappointment!!!

I was a first time homebuyer that was really nervous about buying in the current market. The Centex team at Cinco lakes was honest and friendly from start to finish. They made me confident in my purchase, and I'm really happy in my new home. They not only ensured I knew what I was buying, but they also gave me a primer on how to properly care for my home. Should I purchase another home in the future, I'd be very pleased if Centex was an option.
