Great buying experience. We like the fact that the home came with a dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Overall this is a great home and subdivision.

the interior drainage part of the HVAC unit was never installed. therefore every time the AC would run the water from the AC was collecting in the inside AC closet. sitting water for months caused a major gnat/fly issue and a mold problem. currently still trying to get the builder to assist with this issue since this happened due to a lack of checks and balances.

This home is exactly what I needed as far as the size of the house and the yard. I really enjoy it.

When I first looked at the Centex Cinco Lakes neighborhood I noticed the land scaping was terrible, but I figured it was just the lawn not that important. Wrong. When I did my final walk through the builder Mark told me they'd have the grass in by closing or a couple of days after. It took almost a month of weekly/daily calls with a clay mud yard, white carpet, and two dogs. If I didn't work from home the number of times I'd been misled to think they were coming tomorrow would have cost me my job if I'd had to take off work. On top of that the irrigation system never seemed to stop having leaks. It also started raining and the ground soil was being washed away to the point I had a giant sink hole next to my driveway. After a month grass has finally been put in but now it's lumpy and uneven and collecting mosquitoes in wet spots as the neighbors irrigation flows straight through my yard and the builder is not fixing it because landscaping is not covered under their warranty even though I wouldn't have this issue if they had not waited so long to put in grass and had properly graded the yard. Do not recommend Centex as a builder and the mortgage company was also terrible. They behave as if they are doing you a favor offering you their over priced services and have no customer service or initiative. ... More

The foundation and materials used to build the house were builder grade but I hope everything was done at least up to code for anything our inspector couldn’t see. As far as the quality of the work we can see, it is very poor. There is not a single room, door, trim, cabinet, or wall that doesnt have a mistake. I keep dividing areas as well that just weren’t painted like underneath the vent that you can’t see if you’re standing…how clever. Had an electrical issue when I first moved in and it took so long for them to respond I paid and got it fixed myself. Centex and Pulte take advantage of people by the incentives for money put down but the work done to build these homes is average at best. Centex needs to do better. ... More

People ar Centex are very nice. The contractors they hire are junk. Only lived in my house for a month and a half and had the A/C people out 3 different times. There is no quality control. A/C drain lines were run backwards. Also have bad the electrical out once to change breakers because they said they are bad out of the box. Don't believe it but time will tell. Again quality sucks. Now I have a water leak and now will have water damage. Poor, poor ,poor quality. They just want your money.

Our experience with Centex was all positive. We have owned several homes during our lifetime including a custom built house with an excellent small builder, and we were surprised to find a large firm like Centex/Pulte treating us like our small, custom builder. Very responsive customer service after we moved in which to me is the measure of the builder: how they treat you after the deal is done.

The team building our neighborhood, mike in sales and cody in construction are outstanding!!! Unfortunately the product is not great. Barely any grass what was given to us was dead. House was built with. Poor poor poor, materials and is very very noisy due to no insulation in the ceiling. The neighborhood is a disaster, from construction i've had two flat tires in my own yard. Pulte makes centex look bad. But I would use mike and cody for all of my future purchases.

it is okey but I had electrical issues.

I was told by my sales representative that I would be able to afford a house in Davis ranch at the end of January. Of course I knew that could change based off of pre-approval and actual approval. Fast-forward to March I'm told that I can only afford a house in a different community. I was told that I would be able to keep my 4.25 rate that was promised to me but after speaking to my loan consultant she said that that was not communicated to her by sales. Unfortunately but thankfully she was able to get me a 4.75, but the sales consultant shouldn't have promised me that rate nor should he have said that it was "obviously a mistake" and that there would be no concessions since "we've given you so much already". ... As a first time home buyer purchasing completely on my own, I had sooooo many questions. Ardit was very helpful, proactive and addressed my questions and concerns the same day. He helped put my mind at ease throughout the process even after closing on the home.

We bought our house and loved the whole process. No pushy sales just great service. Had to place a couple of service calls and received the best customer service I could had ask for. The whole process was very stress free and easy!!!

From the very start, the sales office found exactly the house we were looking for. We thought we couldn’t get a house in the day and age but we did! The process was smooth and transparent. Overall we are in love with our new home.

I chose a newly constructed home over a fixer upper, because I did not want to deal with the workmen and hassle of sourcing materials etc, however it feels like a fixer upper, the finish is very poor. the floor is dull, the bathroom panels are not sealed and have gaps, I am worried water is going to seeped thru the gaps and I am going to have mold. the accessories are cheap and outdated, the front door at least could have a door handle instead of the round doorknob. the bedroom doors have closet doorknobs and cannot lock, the toilet seats and cover are heavy, I have not seen those heavy toilets and round knobs in a very long time, no bathroom windows in 2022. back door the space for the dead bolt is not chiseled out properly, some base board are not corked fully, there was grout, paint and dirty spots all over the floors and walls plugs are sealed and flat to the walls, the light switches are dated. the master bathroom could take a double sink, could have left an open space under the staircase. pantry too small and wire shelves way too narrow. The community could use a pool especially because it gets so hot during the summer and a play ground would have been nice. we could have gotten ceiling fans. I feel like, we just got the bare bones, saw same design by Lenar and the finish was much better. to say the least I love the house but disappointed in the finish product. sunken lights in the kitchen, we are in the 21st century. We could use some noise reduction windows considering, we are so close to the where the train passes and honks consistently. Please make some improvements for the future homes thank you ... More

Lots of different people involved, but they were all great and very helpful. They walked me through each step from the walkthrough of the house to the move in day.

The quality of materials used and the workmanship get a one star. The cabinetry, flooring, carpets, fencing, and landscaping are of terrible quality. The electrical panel is a 15/20 so I cannot have the lights on and vacuum at the same time without popping the panel. The same thing happens when I have the lights on and want to use several appliances at once in the kitchen such as an air fryer and rice cooker, the panel pops multiple times. I am resetting it 7-8 times each day. I had them come out and they said the panel isn't strong enough to handle what I am doing. This is ridiculous. The "sod" that was put in is basically a blanket of weeds. It is unbelievable. I have called the warranty place multiple times because of standing water on the side of the house and it hasn't been taken care of. The cabinets are cheap and feel like they are going to break at any moment. The handles are all crooked and are noticeably off. The homeowners association is super controlling and requires "permission for backyard gazebos, landscaping, and fence stain, including requiring the name of the landscape company. Yet, they allow the "sod" that is used in the new build to be a blanket of weeds. The project manager was great to work with and when we did the blue tape walk through was great. However, there were things that were not taken care of and I eventually gave up on them. The one highlight through this process was my realtor, Alex. He was absolutely amazing. Pulte mortgage was aweful and I ended up going with a different lender. I am trying to not have buyer's remorse but to say I am disappointed with the quality is an understatement. ... More

Very poor experience as well as home not up to expectations..

Excellent, quick and confident service

Low quality shower doors. Rocks all over the area that were never removed, left over wires and trash under the sod.. The Sod can’t grow from all the rocks and materials underneath. Low quality shower doors which both have broken. Counter tops and back splash very low quality. That’s just some of the standards used.. Supervisor inspector did his best for the time and materials given from Sales and management.

Was able to purchase this home for my wife and I we worked with other builder that gave us the run around so they could make more money. But centex helped with financing and helped us get into our first home

We purchased a home that was already close to being finished so our experience is only on the back end. The staff as a whole are very good, friendly, and supportive. However the sub contractors they use to build their homes is poor; contractors they hire do not take pride in their work and it shows everywhere in the home. I understand it's a business so they try to find the cheapest contractor, but at some point there needs to be some venting for QA as the price we pay should reflect the quality of work which due to the people the hire to build the homes isn't there. Once again the staff is amazing, just the workers they hire is not good at all. Suggest buyers who plan to buy a home get one built from the ground up so they can monitor every single detail as the build is going up as buying a home halfway/at the finish line I wouldn't recommend. ... I have been in my home about a month and a half. The appliances came with it. Every time I use the dryer the breaker trips. I put in a service request and an electrical company called to tell me they can’t come til the 23rd of the month. So I am left with a new home with new appliances and I will have to got to the washeteria for the next to weeks. Totall UNACCEPTABLE, I am so upset and disappointed
