I was very pleased with overall home buying experience from sales to construction managers explaining everything in detail for the first time home buying experience. As we did the first walk through and now living in the house, there is a lot of spot where the finishing is not satisfactory overall but I will be filling work order soon to fix some of them. I would rate 3/5 for house itself and 4.5/5 for the buying experience.

We had to delay closing multiple times due to incomplete or substandard workmanship. When the project manager was contacted with a list, it was documented, but little or nothing done within a reasonable timeframe. One incident was a crooked wall running at roughly a 25 degree angle, the response was "it doesn't look that bad". It was eventually "repaired", but now the drywall tape was worked loose and is protruding. Have been in the house for almost two full months and the power washing has still not been completed.

I purchased this home to relocated to San Antonio TX’ found what has turned out to be a nice neighborhood with a great group of neighbors… however it’s been nearly 5 months and I am still tracking down help to get my home repairs that were promised at closing done! My front door has blue tape all over it from the walk, I have a toilet down stairs that flooded, my living room switch turns the lights on in my bathroom! I have cracks and seams on the walls I’m almost every room and the guy I spoke with said “well we can get to those MINOR things when we walk through your house at the 11 month mark” I have asked numerous times for a manager to come walk my house with me and NOONE will! I have paid for repairs out of pocket to make the home livable! Literally I have no toilet in my bathroom downstairs still. I had to buy a new toilet myself! The list goes on and on about the horrific quality of fit and finish of this home, or should I say lack of quality! It has left me no choice but to reach out to the BBB I have emailed, called, text and spoken in person with multiple people and in 5 months the only thing that was handled was a few lady’s came in with interior touch up paint and slapped paint all over the cracks in the walls to try and fill them and shut me up. I am beyond frustrated, exhausted with efforts to get things handled and extremely disappointed in the builder Centex. ... More

They work with me really well. I really love my house.

In general, the house is very nice and seems to be good value for the money. There have been some minor 'teething troubles', most of which have been fixed. We got the impression they were trying to finish a bunch of houses and get them sold before the end of the year and the hurry shows in some of the finish details. As I said, most of these have been fixed but it's a bit disappointing to have to go through the process of getting them fixed.

The process with Centex it was very easy , faster and always with good communication, Michelle my sales representative it was always pending of the process, at the someway Mark the Building manager In the financial department Aaron was the perfect person to may this job , always try to get the operation to the ending, Very Happy in the Centex community

Having pipes leak causing water damage. The thermostat goes down to 40 degrees without being touched. There are dips under the carpet. Door stoppers are needed. Lights are flickering. Going from dim to bright.

Everyone is super understanding and knowledgeable!!

Quality of materials used is horrible. I have cracking of interior paint on my walls throughout the home. Mixing valve in my master shower was faulty, therefore there was no cold water to the shower. Only scalding hot water. First week into the home and already had a massive hole in my master bedroom wall to have the shower mixing valve replaced. Gaps in the exterior siding is not caulked. The landscaper laid my sod with 4”-5” rocks underneath. The quality of the home compared to the price you pay is unbelievable. Sad to see that the savings the builder receives by cutting corners never get passed down to the buyer. Only the issues caused by cutting the corners. ... More

Wonderful experience and support to find a home, excellent service, and great people.

The steps to buy the new home was great. We had a amazing team help us get to the finish line… The workmanship in other hand has not been good. Everything from leaks, issues with home heating, doors not securing right, cracks in tiles, cracked cocking, and more. When you make a request for service they have just one person working them and to get things fixed seen not to be important and you are left waiting for calls or a email and even service not showing up for appointment. And to top it off you’re told “this is what you signed for at walk through” PLEASE FIX THE SERVICE REQUEST ISSUES. ... More

customer service not helpful. they promise to get back to you but they never do. Very quick to use or say 'not under warrantly' as a safety blanket, without waiting to listen to what the concern are. My construction manager cody was the only good thing that happened during the buying process. The sod(grass) is no good at all and is not covered in the warrantly. I am just learning to adapt to the new home and having no help from customer service.

We had a great experience. I wish the quality of workmanship was better. The field manager, Brandon, has been attentive and helpful through the whole process.

We really regret purchasing this home. It was a “quick built “ and once we moved in, we started seeing more and more issues with the home. We had issues from the very start. We even decided to not go forward with the purchase and started looking for other homes. Our sales guy was great and he changed our minds and made sure all the issues with our home would be taken care of. We closed on 10/19/2022 and we still have items that have not been fixed. The subcontractors did a crappy job on almost everything. Our ceiling is starting to crack at the seams, our stone work has not been resolved. Our driveway is starting to show areas where there was obviously “air bubbles “ and now there’s opens areas on the driveway. It will get worse with time. Even the landscaping is crap. My lawn is very uneven and when I pulled the sod over, there were giant rocks, lots of them, underneath. How is the grass supposed to root? Most of the grass is dead because we had no water pressure for about 10 days and after the plumber came over twice, they found the issue, replaced the entire piece and we finally were able to water out grass. Most of it was dead by then. A note was made by the person in charge of our home and we were supposed to get the dried sod replaced and nothing has been done. After complaining several times and wanting to speak to a manager, no one has reached out to me. I asked to for a change in person dealing with all the issues and he has finally given me a date of January 7 for most of the repairs. We plan to sell as soon as our son graduates. The quality of this home is so cheap. You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on outside. There are no pull out drawers in the bathroom vanities or even a small linen closet. At least out some shelves for towels. We made an appointment to have custom cabinets placed in the laundry room, bathrooms and master closet. We have decided to just do the laundry room because we do not plan on making this our forever home. I will never purchase a Centex/Pulte home again!!! ... More

It seems in comparison to other new builds in the area, the house size/location is competitive but not the materials for the pricepoint. They cut corners in the finished product. I hope the 1-year warranty covers the finishing touches that were not done well. However, they did work with me and made closing dates very very flexible and were extremely communicative.

Buying a Centex home with Mike and Tim is a great experience! They were both very responsive and knowledgeable.

Some hiccups along the way as it always is with building but builder helped get through them smoothly! Our new home is beautiful couldn't be happier!

Andrew is wonderful and made the whole process as painless as possible. He was extremely thorough with the walk through as well as any questions I had with quick and timely responses. He took his time and explained every detail about the house which was tremendously helpful as a first time home buyer. All issues were addressed and any infractions with the house were also addressed within a timely manner. He is 10/10 for customer service and overall knowledge.

The buying and building process was easy. There isn’t much I would change.
