Poor Quality and workmanship and fix issues

We had to change multiple things with multiple calls and reminders. For example, there was hole in the plywood on the second floor flooring. someone has marked it but they never fixed before handing home to us. We just realized it and they fixed it now but they had to remove the carpet cut the padding , cut the plywood. No one would be happy to repair their new homes like this. There is tile chipped out due to carpet repair and they are saying that this was because me(when I ask something to fix due to the build problem, very first sentence from them is "this is because of you" ). Cabinet in kitchen still crooked after multiple attempts to fix. Solar was a major pain to get working.They installed the wires backward and didn't realize it until months later. Still waiting for driveway to be fixed. No communication when it will be fixed. The irrigation system is super complicated. Most of the homes in the in the Century Community have brown lawns.

Construction delays were ok considering the pandemic situation. But after sales support and maintainance requests responses are really bad. No flexibility on options and there were no response for any of the maintenance requests till date.

Response to maintenance requests are not good. It's been months that I have raised 4-5 service requests but none has been worked on. In fact I couldn't find the ways to search for the service requests from the website to refer back.

The closing process was rushed, new home orientation was nonexistent, and 4 months later still waiting for issues to be resolved. We have opened multiple warranty tickets, but have heard nothing beyond the initial acceptance. Language regarding for what the homeowner is responsible is vague/misleading, and sales and customer relations give competing stories (although to be fair, sales always states that one should verify/defer to customer relations for questions). Overall quality of construction is decent (some nice upgrades to cabinets and fixtures, but copious amounts of architectural foam ...

- why push to close when the house had so many issues that needed to be resolved? - 5/6 months later and I still have unresolved issues from pre closing walk through - paint/detail job was poor and unexcusable as "faults of the house" - nail is sticking up from floor, underneath the carpet (from move in) and still not resolved - cabinet drawer in kitchen was chipped from preclosing walk through and still not resolved - front lawn has a huge hole where water comes out of and floods the sidewalk and flies congregate there - lack of communication -would never recommend anyone to buy ...

Bought a Century home in California, Quality of the homes built by Century communities is not great, poor design& Architecture, quality issues were observed throughout the house either in the materials used or in the workmanship. The walls are not straight in few areas, the flooring is not installed appropriately, upgrade options quality is poor. Sales team was fine. But the customer service team (to report any issues) is extremely poor, takes many months to fix issues, don’t respond, requires many many follow ups. I observed very irresponsibility from Century Communities, I have to chase people to get the updates, it's not customer friendly in terms of upgrades, the company solgan says "You Dream we built" - which is obsolutely is not true, what ever the package they decided we have to go with it, customer care after collecting keys is very pathetic, I never see such a worest customer care any where.

1. They are so busy they have no time to walk you through and talk you through the house, lot size or dimensions when buying. 2. They say that you have a year to address any issues, but hardly any are addressed. Please talk to residents there to get to know the true picture. 3. The quality of construction is BAD. I see many cracks already appearing in around walls and window frames.

The workmanship is poor. There are so many issues that I have identified during the walk through and post move in. Yet some of them are NOT resolved. I have escalated to multiple people, yet not all issues are resolved. After a time, I just gave up. I would never buy a home again from Century communities again. Neither would I recommend you guys to my family and friends.
