Good experience overall. Responding to issues could improve with faster responding time.

Century Communities responded:
Thanks, Raul! I've passed on the feedback to the new VP of Customer Care, Billy Holliday. He's got a background in process improvement. Appreciate the constructive criticism.

Took over two months to get our walk through punch list completed. I feel this was to long.

Century Communities responded:
Greg- Thank you for sharing. Agreed. We will be following up with the team to see what happened and to make sure something like this doesn't repeat in the future.

Century Communities - Overall our experience was good.

Overall our experience was good. Our sales agent was very friendly. Our only complaint is some miscommunication with selections such as the exterior color of our house (we were told it was going to be one color and it ended up being a different color- we don’t mind the color so it ended up not being a big deal). We also didn’t appreciate the quality of the fixes requested at our blue tape walk through. Most weren’t fixed even after our final walk through and even then we felt like a lot of them were just quick fixes that didn’t last long. But the structure/ size of our house & yard is great ...

I dont feel that the sales rep provided accurate information in some cases; we were given incorrect HOA rates, we were told that were going to being information on the rec centers and golf course but have not been provided with anything, we were also told somethings were included but they were not.

Issue with piles of dirt under the carpet

I love my place but my only issue is walking through my house on the carpet is I keep walking over bumps in the carpet that I can only assume is dirt. I have been placed on orders for the Army and when I return home this week I will put in a warranty request form.

I paid a fair price for my home and have a high level of trust and respect for Danielle and Jim, my sales people who went above and beyond. The design center was on point too. Most of the home was constructed well, and we visited every weekend to ensure it was. On the down side, several closings were rushed to make Q2 numbers. As a result, some finish work was rushed and there's no sense of urgency to fix things on the punch list from our final walk through or from our followup list provided to construction the week after moving in. That was three months ago. We've been patient, but it's ...

The sales staff was great. The closing process took far too long. The GC doesn't have much of a customer service attitude. The overall home is great, but the quality of work on small details is disappointing. Frustration with getting items, identified in final walk-through, fixed in a timely manner.

Century Communities - There are still issues we addressed once we bought our home and

There are still issues we addressed once we bought our home and they have not been fixed. Additionally, I have had two flat tires, once was in the side wall and couldn't be repaired. There were new tires with less than 1000 miles on them. This was due to screws and nails being left in the road from sloppy construction. When I brought this to the attention of century communities, they told me tough luck. I feel that they could be more professional while building in the neighborhood. Over all, I was initially happy but things are not being addressed and I am out of pocket at this ...

Still waiting for "punch list" repairs

It has been 4.5 months since we have closed on our home. Since our first survey, 14 of the 16 items listed on the move-in inspection and orientation report have been completed thanks to John, the on site construction supervisor. He has been excellent to work with and assumed responsibility for the defects and repairs from the previous supervisors, Brian and Scott. Also, we have been pleased with the workmanship and tradesmen who have completed the 14 items. However, two of the "bigger" items still have not been completed. For instance, over two weeks ago, the decorative tile in the ...

Good House

The house it’s self is good. The buying process was easy and swift. We’ve had a terrible experience trying to get our floors replaced, as the were warped from day 1. This experience alone makes it very hard to recommend century as a builder to my friends and family, many whom are in the market for a new home.

Century Communities - This was my first time to build a new home.

This was my first time to build a new home. The service was good but the staff just disappeared after the new home was closed. Since they rushed to close the house, it was a little hard to tell them all the issues. For example: the stairs detached, bathtub got scratches, wood floor got a small cracked, paint job wasn't quite done in a certain part of the house, nails stick out. Also, we got issues with the kitchen cabinet and crown. The builder promised to replace the defective ones. It has been months, the cabinets and crown are not being replaced. Very disappointed. I don't know what to ...

My wife and I were extremely excited about our first home. We closed on our home on Dec 17th. On the day of closing we went to our new home to see if everything that was requested to be fixed was done. We walked in extremely disappointed. Nothing was done. Ryan said, that everyone was busy with the holidays coming up. Therefore, they were a little behind. My wife and I understood. We also run a business and holidays can make projects run behind. Ryan promised to get everything done within the next week or so. Our first baby was due on January 9th. So we figured everything would be done by ...

This experience has been an absolute nightmare. From the builders not following the plans to just plain leaving things unfinished. They have made all kinds of promises that have not been followed up. When we walked the house on the day of closing they forced us to sign off on the house even though it was not finished and had many problems that needed to be addressed. They threatened that if we did not sign off on the condition of the house we would not be allowed to close and would possibly lose the house and our deposit. We have lived here for 4 months and still our home is not finished even ...
