Our sales person and construction foreman were super with providing us with answers to our questions and keeping us informed on the progress. The home plans includes many items geared towards over 55 adults. However, there are several items they could also add. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase.

Convenient, centrally- located subdivision, in a quiet, low key neighborhood. Love the privacy! Good looking house fronts offering perfect size lots and cute porches. I love my new home!

Great community and excellent design of the houses and layout of the site and plan. I like the open concept houses and we love the plans. They are extremely functional and practical for 55+ community. Our sales experience and working with the team during the construction phase was very smooth and we were involved every step of t he way. Quality of workmanship and some materials has room for improvement. these are minor things but collectively leave some not so good impression. Particularly the electrical fittings/sockets installation could be better.

Check everything before the final closing date! A few things that I have a problem with that I overlooked while doing my walk thru. Overall though, I’m happy with my purchase.

Communication was very good throughout the entire process. Reasonable price for model homes available. Disappointed that builder allows for same models side by side with different elevations. Craftsmanship of tradesman was solid throughout the process until a few weeks before closing, seem to rush to complete on time leaving unfavorable construction defects that needs correcting.

Painters have not done a good job

Not happy, tiles are not done correctly, some part of wood floors are showing gaps. Dish washer is leaking, one lignt in the kitchen is not matched with the rest. Tiles and floors are not properly cleaned. Stain that won't come off.

The neighborhood is great. PLEASE HAVE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS CLEAN UP THE STREETS....I HAVE HAD 4 NAILS THIS MONTH IN MY TIRES. So far only complaint.

It was would be nice if we had a community pool and center. Overall it's a nice community with freindly neighbors

The home buying experience was good and pretty seamless. There were no issues with the sales, and loan processing teams. Couldn’t keep up with how quickly the loan was sold off. I was not able to request any changes even though my house was still in the framing stage and it was two months away from being completed. I wanted the no tub option for example and I wanted a larger patio but had to settle for the standard plan. I will live with the bathroom but will have to pay to get my patio extended. After living in the house I started to notice the little things like no towel hangers in the bathrooms and no hand towel hangers by the vanity, no toilet roll hangers etc. Also the front door was not included in the blind installation. Had to purchase additional hardware that would be considered standard installation for a house. There are footprints and rag prints on the floor that I can’t just wipe off and will have to figure out how to fix. The interior doors are cheap and unfinished but painted over. Nothing earth shattering but from a quality standpoint very dissatisfying. Next time I will pay more attention to these details. ... More

Fit and finish needs to be improved. The final details that are seen every day need to be reviewed and brought to a higher standard.

The Agent Angela was attentive. Jose was very kind. My only concern is my wood flooring in my downstairs bedroom and hall area, is lumpy and feels like it will pop open soon. I have been waiting for some type of resolution to repair my brand new flooring with no return calls from Benjamin, the Century Rep that came to look at it. Also I have same air pockets in my wood flooring in the kitchen area that I was told would be repaired by drilling holes and inserting some kind of flooring glue. Still no return calls in the past 2 weeks from the time they came to look at the flooring. A response from Century would be awesome. Thanks Angela ... More

The issue was fixed

Overall not to bad. Buyers must make sure that all walkthroughs are done 100% and documented. Make sure that the extras that you are paying for are what you want before they are done. Once done they will not change it. Be very specific before you sign the bottom line.

Well to the builders way, I will say I was relocating and didn’t comb through with a fine tooth comb. Upon moving in, I had a smoke detector hanging down, cracked cabinets, cracked baseboards, no grout in my tile (kitchen nor bath), I can clearly see the pieces of drywall, one wall is bowing, my roof leaked already, no seal around the pipe venting to outdoors... The quality of work is just not there for over 300k.

Century home is very poor in cleanliness. Doesn’t care about a finished product. They just build houses. No quality control at all.

I'm new to the century communities although I do love my home,the layout and floor plan. I do like the quiet community . Materials used to make the home seem to be very cheap quality the paint is already rubbing off the corner of the walls.The drywall is already cracking and coming off. Also problems with my garbage disposal I'm not at all happy with that.

Good value for the money especially if you are one of the early buyers. Century personnel are good folks and try hard to please. However, I am disappointed with a myriad of fit and finish items that are still outstanding after almost 3 months of occupancy.

Phillip was awesome and answered all questions. Still not happy with color odf stairs and does not match rest of floors but told nothing can be done. Brad just did not know enough and really did not show that he cared. Overall we like the house and not to many issues. I think the overall cleaning should be clean not just a check the box activity.

Although overall, we love our home, some of the workmanship is spotty at best. We were not given all design options available to us. We still have foreign debris behind our home, along with dying trees. Some of the plaster and caulking is not aesthetically pleasing. HOA fesses are super high, but I don’t see much maintenance being done, besides grass cutting. There are no set parking spaces in the front of the homes, so people are parking wherever they want, in front of private homes. We had a catastrophic landslide that washed away our side yard due to careless excavation on the lot next door. Accidents happen, but when it took over five weeks of asking, begging and finally threatening legal action, for them to replace the land our opinion of Century deminished greatly. The other thing that really irked us is our agent worked hard during the sales process. She deserved every dime of the commission on the $325K+ home but Century only paid commission on the base price of the house (around $260k) claiming they don't pay commission on options. I'm sorry, we paid for options along with the house...it was a really dirty way to do the deal, especially since they never mentioned it until she got the check at the closing table. Integrity is everything in business. To give credit where it is due, their service manager is their only saving grace. He has been attentive in fixing the punch list items and warranty issues. ... Once you actually move in you really start to notice how bad some of the workmanship is. The painting and drywall work especially! When the evening sun shines in the window you really notice how bad it looks. I had overspray and drywall dust everywhere that I'm still cleaning. This would not be my 1st choice for another home builder.

The house appears to have been rushed. Finishing is very poor. Already have cracks in the wall within a few months of purchase. Already had a basement leak. It appears to be about the money and sale than a quality house for people unfortunately. It is not just my house, others in the subdivision have ongoing issues. The only good thing about this purchase is the amount of space you get inside the house. However, the space between houses is non existent and the back yards are really small. My property is ok but I there are noticeable issues throughout the home. Unfortunately, I did not catch at closing. Ex. My cabinet doors were put on backwards.

Kept telling us things would be ready and they were not - could not get mail for 4 weeks due to their not doing what they should do with the post office and could not get Internet for 3 weeks yet they kept telling us it would not be a problem. They have fixed some f the issues but we have to keep reminding them. Employees are always nice but higher ups do not give them the real information. We like the house and floor plan but work was sloppy and paint used is terrible.
