We loved the neighborhood. Several minor issues with quality and HOA regulations are somewhat restrictive; fencing, landscaping, etc. Insulation feels inadequate and non-existent on external garage walls. Overall, home value is very good.

Our sales person and construction foreman were super with providing us with answers to our questions and keeping us informed on the progress. The home plans includes many items geared towards over 55 adults. However, there are several items they could also add. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase.

Overall our experience was good. Our sales agent was very friendly. Our only complaint is some miscommunication with selections such as the exterior color of our house (we were told it was going to be one color and it ended up being a different color- we don’t mind the color so it ended up not being a big deal). We also didn’t appreciate the quality of the fixes requested at our blue tape walk through. Most weren’t fixed even after our final walk through and even then we felt like a lot of them were just quick fixes that didn’t last long. But the structure/ size of our house & yard is great ...

Convenient, centrally- located subdivision, in a quiet, low key neighborhood. Love the privacy! Good looking house fronts offering perfect size lots and cute porches. I love my new home!

Great community and excellent design of the houses and layout of the site and plan. I like the open concept houses and we love the plans. They are extremely functional and practical for 55+ community. Our sales experience and working with the team during the construction phase was very smooth and we were involved every step of t he way. Quality of workmanship and some materials has room for improvement. these are minor things but collectively leave some not so good impression. Particularly the electrical fittings/sockets installation could be better.

Very late on fixing the issues reported

I can understand that the coronavirus pandemic has affected all companies, but we reported the issues a few months back and not much has been fixed. We were told that as soon as workers for different things (tile grout, cabinets etc.) become available the issues would be fixed. They keep building more houses in our community, which means thise workers are back, but our issues haven’t been fixed. Really bad customer service on this front.

With regards to seeing the trades building homes and service techs servicing homes. We are still building homes through state/federal guidelines where they have little to no contact with the general public. The service side of bussniss is different as they would generally have direct contact with homeowners. State and federal guidelines are used here as well but also each company has its own response allowing it's personal in someone's home. My only main issue is the communication and getting a timely response. I need a few things done that weren’t completed at closing. I did what the builder said and filled out a water try claim and still haven’t heard back. They wanted me to wait to do the new home evaluation until after they completed the tasks but it’s been almost 5 months. I’m over it.

Communication was very good throughout the entire process. Reasonable price for model homes available. Disappointed that builder allows for same models side by side with different elevations. Craftsmanship of tradesman was solid throughout the process until a few weeks before closing, seem to rush to complete on time leaving unfavorable construction defects that needs correcting.

The house buying experience with Century was great. The only issue I've had is after my walk-thru, things that were supposed to be fixed or repaired, was not. I will be getting it all fixed and completed I hope before my one year warranty expires!

Not happy, tiles are not done correctly, some part of wood floors are showing gaps. Dish washer is leaking, one lignt in the kitchen is not matched with the rest. Tiles and floors are not properly cleaned. Stain that won't come off.

Blake was easy to work with. We got a great lot with mature trees, just wish we had known about the smell beforehand. The house has a great layout and fits our needs perfectly. The lack of choices was frustrating, especially with the tile. We are having to change it after closing ourselves and of course now the wood look tile is going into the newer houses with cabinets that have less detail/are more modern. The quality of materials is there, but the attention to detail by the subs is lacking. All white paint was applied too thick and doors are damaged just from being shut along with items ...

Overall, this experience has had ups and down. There were many problems we need to have fixed at our walk-through that were not fixed, and we had to do a second walk-through where things still were not complete after signing. Those items plus a list of 12 other items had to go to warranty claim. Both Chuck and Ryan are great, however, everyone else like tradesman have not been hospitable. If you do the job right the first time, then we do not have to call you, however, if it was incomplete or done poorly, its should be fixed since it is a BRAND NEW home. It is very obvious that nobody has recently ves the rules of the community. I have been reporting trash cans on the parking spots and still no resolution. Other thing is that I must be paying 160 dollars by the HOA fee and I have been charge 196 per month, I am going to disput it, I have not been paying it.

Great house and love where I live

Living in the new house has been great and everything has been amazing. The only thing that’s bother some is the building that’s still going on around my house has caused a lot of careless trash on the side of my house and in my lawn and street. I understand there will be some that goes on with construction but the workers are just very careless with their lunch trash and that type of stuff and really dirties up the neighborhood.

After items were completed all is well. We still have a large electrical wire lose by the AC unit that I have requested several times to be removed. Just be prepared to have to follow up and track down the construction supervisor.
