This builder is great, however the responsiveness to issues has been poor. I have had to have three reschedules and not great follow-up.

Buying a spec home is good/bad. don't have to angst over any decisions, but also don't get things you would have for sure chosen if being built from the ground up. Whoever makes the decisions of upgrading might want to get feedback about current preferences. Have had to completely change out was a very basic fireplace to a more suitable custom finish. Century never left any leftover paint for touch ups that may have been overlook before closing.

I dont feel that the sales rep provided accurate information in some cases; we were given incorrect HOA rates, we were told that were going to being information on the rec centers and golf course but have not been provided with anything, we were also told somethings were included but they were not.

During the build process there are cut off times for selections so the home stays on schedule. If you bought an inventory home this applies as well because the home is finished.

Speed of building when trying to get back on track after COVID shutdown

Overall we are happy with our house though there are a few issues we wish had gone differently. We assume COVID changed a few things about the response to issues that we raised but eventually these have been worked out more or less to our satisfaction.

Heather was great during the home buying process. But since I’ve closed escrow, the customer experience has just been ok. I understand that with COVID things have been challenging. But the only time I have contact with anyone is if I reach out to them. Kyle has been great. Responsive and efficient. Not sure what happened to the “other guy”. Not sure if the team is short staffed or what. Also, someone needs to do a better job clean up these construction sites. My neighbors and I always have trash in our yards.

We feel that the purchased condo and community are an overall excellent value. The sales staff was excellent and we are satisfied that our expectations were met. The only negative so far is that there has not been good responsiveness to our warranty issues. The few problems noted since purchase have not been fully addressed since our closing in December ( it is now April).

Great building team to work with lots of updates through the construction process. I rated 3 on value for the fact that the price jumps (premiums) were extremely steep and the reason given was not to stay competitive but to drive sales number up. Honest but not preferred for consumers. I also rated a three in responsiveness to issues simply because there are still lingering items (although simple fixes) that have dragged on for months after closing and have not been fixed. I do have trust in Mike and his contractors they will resolve the remaining items but there seems to be a significant ...

Make sure you know what you want and you ask for it. These are great houses but they are being built quickly and multiple at the same time so things can get missed and the quality can suffer because of the tight schedule. Continue to monitor your house while in your first warranty year. We will probably hire someone to do an inspection around 10 months and make sure we get everything fixed under warranty.

The sales team that we had was amazing, It really depends on the sales team and if you get a good one on one experience with your contractor, sales agent, and closing rep. The home is well-built and the process was smooth only because of them. The Corporate office, warranty process and attention to issues after closing was poor. How you file warranty claims after closing is horrible, it takes forever to get issues solved, and you have to follow up multiple times before anyone pays attention to your issue.

Some minor things wrong that I am now starting to find. Nothing major though. Jeb has been outstanding throughout the process!!! Always gets back to you right away. As far as the community... trying to live in my townhome as construction continues around me has not been fun. Parking is poorly planned. Construction workers playing there music loud, etc. Also things not being explained to me before they happen. Such as tearing up my yard to place a street light... that was quite a surprise that morning. Overall the community is in a good location. Hopefully with feedback we ...

Overall, the house is good quality and we are happy with our purchase, but handling warranty issues is not Century's forte. They do not respond quickly and still have not fixed our issues.

There were many spots INSIDE the home that needed a little more thought. The door swinging into the restrooms were too close to the ground leaving no room for the skinniest bathroom mat or the bathroom floor tiles were uneven so the door scrapes the floor when opening. There are many shiny spots on the wall that were obviously touched up with the wrong paint. Many spackle leftover spots were left on the carpet.

We love the house and the community. Overall the process was easy getting in but unfortunately there were a handful of minor issues that just felt like the house was rushed to finished. Now it has been dragging for months to get things taken care of. Just very frustrating to spend so much on a house to see things cracked, crooked, or warping.
