Century home is very poor in cleanliness. Doesn’t care about a finished product. They just build houses. No quality control at all.

Sales Experience was amazing with Anette, would love to work with her again and cant recommend her more. Our construction foreman was great, kept us up to date, took the time to answer lots of questions and did the best he could under the circumstances. The actual resulting house due to sub par subcontractors is the real negative overall. Trim, paint, drywall, tile, landscaping, etc. No pride in their work and a corner cut/rushed finished product. The warranty process has been ok so far but we are having them come back to do things that never should have had to be done in the first place. ...

I'm new to the century communities although I do love my home, the layout and floor plan. I do like the quiet community . Materials used to make the home seem to be very cheap quality the paint is already rubbing off the corner of the walls. The drywall is already cracking and coming off. Also problems with my garbage disposal I'm not at all happy with that.

Many difficulties working with this builder, especially with thier borderline incompetent title company. Most things were eventually fixed but it was a complete pain in the *** for me to have to continually badger them and follow up again and again. Would not buy from them again.

All the process (paper work) was on line made it impersonal and challenging to understand .The realtor should really understand the material, color plate/ plans for each model before informing clients. The quality of the house material and work was not satisfying. The price of the house was better than other builders though.

Pluses [+]: 1. Location is good. Close to everything 2. Good school district 3. Although the builder slipped 1 mo from its promise delivery date, but still it was almost on time ( given the COVID situation) Minuses[-]: 1. Quantity of faucets is really bad. 2. Unfinished garage with a deep crack ( developed on the 3rd month after delivery) on the floor 3. The sales manager Adam and his sidekick sales person are not trustworthy. If you are dealing with such names, make sure you keep everything on writing. 4. Post sales support is nightmarish and virtually nonexistent.

Poor Quality and workmanship and fix issues

We had to change multiple things with multiple calls and reminders. For example, there was hole in the plywood on the second floor flooring. someone has marked it but they never fixed before handing home to us. We just realized it and they fixed it now but they had to remove the carpet cut the padding , cut the plywood. No one would be happy to repair their new homes like this. There is tile chipped out due to carpet repair and they are saying that this was because me(when I ask something to fix due to the build problem, very first sentence from them is "this is because of you" ). I had to ...

We've heard many stories, but I'll share just our own. We signed in May, 2020 but right away, things started to change. The builder decided to make changes that we hadn't signed off on, and it was a struggle to get those things that helped us make the decision to buy. We were caught in the interim stages of "that's what it was, this is how we are changing the homes for the future". A lot were architectural changes that weren't consistent with the model that we based our buying decision on. Throughout the process we felt we had to visit the construction site every other day to maintain the ...

The salesman was very responsive to my questions and if he didn't know himself, he made sure to find out quickly. Unfortunately the builder wasn't as accommodating to our requests especially when our inspector noticed issues. Luckily we had our own inspection because it failed in almost every step of the way. We were able to get the major issues fixed but minor issues weren't taken into account. Also Inspire Home loans process is terrible and not worth the design credit. You need to improve that process/ communication because they made the process extremely difficult, especially when ...

Good value for the money especially if you are one of the early buyers. Century personnel are good folks and try hard to please. However, I am disappointed with a myriad of fit and finish items that are still outstanding after almost 3 months of occupancy.

After the closing you WILL be ignored. Beware of the person on the walkthrough. Do not let him rush you, check every last detail. If you miss something during the walkthrough it may never be addressed. We have been waiting almost 4 months for electrical issues, doorbell not working and a few other minor issues we missed during our walkthrough. Because of this I do not recommend this builder.

Phillip was awesome and answered all questions. Still not happy with color odf stairs and does not match rest of floors but told nothing can be done. Brad just did not know enough and really did not show that he cared. Overall we like the house and not to many issues. I think the overall cleaning should be clean not just a check the box activity.

Well to be honest, this is my second brand new house, and I wish I can have some of the things I have in the other one. Some of the materials are cheap, can’t say is bad constructed no issues there. Now for the flooring, cabinet, toilets, faucets (kitchen and bathroom) can be way better for the price we paid, not even included a ceiling fan, everything has to be an upgrade than when they come up a lot in price, the lots are so small that literally I can see my neighbors and talk to them and the way the do our back that is looking to the neighbors, no privacy there at all. Houses are very ...

When I moved in my house there was blue tape still all over the walls. My closet rods are not cut properly, and the caulking was not cleaned properly. There was scrap would in my backyard and the workers left nails and small pieces of wood in the yard. They acted as if they wanted my home to be perfect in every way and promised it to be cleaned properly and it was not. I was also promised a gift card for touch up paint. I still have yet to recieve that. The homes are beautiful and quality is great but they were very careless in making my home move in ready. I trusted them to ensure my house ...

Make sure you get a plot survey with all easements and walk the lot with property lines marked. Take pictures and get everything in writing. Check in and walk the lot and home about every other week to check for mistakes, things that got overlooked, or poor craftsmen-ship. Do not sign off on anything if something is incomplete.

Plus: new house, lot of square footage. Minus: very small lot, very restrictive CC&Rs, relatively cheap details, such as low-grade carpet, laminate floors, no handles on cupboards, formica counter-tops in secondary bathrooms. Low water pressure. No door out of garage. Development is pretty far away from any service, other than the golf course.

Although overall, we love our home, some of the workmanship is spotty at best. We were not given all design options available to us. We still have foreign debris behind our home, along with dying trees. Some of the plaster and caulking is not aesthetically pleasing. HOA fesses are super high, but I don’t see much maintenance being done, besides grass cutting. There are no set parking spaces in the front of the homes, so people are parking wherever they want, in front of private homes. On a positive not there are some great aspects about the home like our tiles fireplace wall and the open ...

We love the house but there is just some issues with the way it was put together. The flooring isn’t the greatest and finishers should have definitely taken more time. The cement foundation isn’t flat, you can feel sink spots in the kitchen and by our front entrance way. Our carpet keeps lifting up, and strands of it keep coming off. It has already been stretched and we even chose upgraded carpet. The bathroom flooring was torn but was recently replaced and our master bath has water damage and is lifting up but I believe it is scheduled to be fixed. The doors don’t open properly and one of ...
