I paid a fair price for my home and have a high level of trust and respect for Danielle and Jim, my sales people who went above and beyond. The design center was on point too. Most of the home was constructed well, and we visited every weekend to ensure it was. On the down side, several closings were rushed to make Q2 numbers. As a result, some finish work was rushed and there's no sense of urgency to fix things on the punch list from our final walk through or from our followup list provided to construction the week after moving in. That was three months ago. We've been patient, but it's ...

We had a catastrophic landslide that washed away our side yard due to careless excavation on the lot next door. Accidents happen, but when it took over five weeks of asking, begging and finally threatening legal action, for them to replace the land our opinion of Century deminished greatly. The other thing that really irked us is our agent worked hard during the sales process. She deserved every dime of the commission on the $325K+ home but Century only paid commission on the base price of the house (around $260k) claiming they don't pay commission on options. I'm sorry, we paid for options ...

The sales staff was great. The closing process took far too long. The GC doesn't have much of a customer service attitude. The overall home is great, but the quality of work on small details is disappointing. Frustration with getting items, identified in final walk-through, fixed in a timely manner.

Once you actually move in you really start to notice how bad some of the workmanship is. The painting and drywall work especially! When the evening sun shines in the window you really notice how bad it looks. I had overspray and drywall dust everywhere that I'm still cleaning. This would not be my 1st choice for another home builder.

Brandon, thank you for reaching out. We understand that our local team is scheduled to meet w/ you next week regarding your concerns.

Century Communities seems like it set in their traditional ways. Builder should offer more options that competitors are offering. Simple things such as a tankless water heater, LED bulbs, and more. Also, there are plenty of quality control problems that surface. However, the warranty department has been helpful and diligent aside from a few delays.

For the price I paid for the property and building I guess I should have expected the issues that have come up. First time buying a new home and there were many lessons learned about what to ask and how to manage the buying process. Very stressful.

The house itself is great, but I was told I would receive a garage door credit if I put my deposit down that day, to which I did. Later I was told that since I went with an outside lender, I would not receive that credit. That stipulation was never specified prior to me putting my deposit down. I brought it up many times and I was either ignored or just told there was nothing that can be done. As mentioned, the property as far structure is amazing, but the peer to peer communications were absolutely horrid

There are still issues we addressed once we bought our home and they have not been fixed. Additionally, I have had two flat tires, once was in the side wall and couldn't be repaired. There were new tires with less than 1000 miles on them. This was due to screws and nails being left in the road from sloppy construction. When I brought this to the attention of century communities, they told me tough luck. I feel that they could be more professional while building in the neighborhood. Over all, I was initially happy but things are not being addressed and I am out of pocket at this ...

Our personal experiences with individuals (sales staff, design staff and construction staff) were cordial, professional and as-to-be expected. However, it is obvious the home was built with the lowest-cost materials / methods. The concept of "craftsmanship" is wholly absent.

The house appears to have been rushed. Finishing is very poor. Already have cracks in the wall within a few months of purchase. Already had a basement leak. It appears to be about the money and sale than a quality house for people unfortunately. It is not just my house, others in the subdivision have ongoing issues. The only good thing about this purchase is the amount of space you get inside the house. However, the space between houses is non existent and the back yards are really small. The internal square footage is the main selling point really. If I was not in such a hurry to move I ...

Bought the house in February. Since then the backyard does not drain properly. When the neighbor waters their lawn their runoff comes into my yard and stay there for days. Landscapers have tried twice to fix it they have failed. I now have a crack in the foundation all the way to the ground and the bricks are coming off on that corner. The ground water is coming up through the crack and continuing to increase the crack damaging the foundation even more. This is an extremely expensive fix. This house is only about four months old. This is ridiculous to have all these problems on a new house ...

The staff at all levels are friendly. The model homes while nice, really are a basic track homes built with cheap materials in a pretty community. "Upgrades" will get you more of an acceptable quality, but many should be standard. I did get a considerable amount of upgrades, but have also put a lot of extra work into making this a great home for the year 2020-work that should have come standard or at least have been an option for upgrades. The lack of sound insulation in the walls is egregious and some of the mandatory choices in packages during the design phase are obtuse. Also, the ...

1. We are generally happy with our new house purchase. There were some minor repair details that had to be addressed, and after a number of calls to builders the repairs were done. Kudos to Joe. 2. The Home Owners Association company surprised all new housing tenants with a seemingly arbitrary increase that was done without any prior notice or explanation in writing.
