my home quality is very average.. i was disappointed after i moved in .. my kitchen cabinets are still yet to fix.. its been 4 months no one responds to work order. quality and fixing of kitchen cabinets is soo cheap(after i got the upgrade) few drawers docent align. toilet pots are the cheapest in market i guess... and special mention for wall paints.. it wears off if u touch it.... its that badly done... i pray and wish this house shouldn't fall of on my head at any time ..

I was referred to Century Communities by a friend whose home had been built by CC. I really loved the way his home looked inside and out. It also appeared to be well built, so I decided to go with CC and have a home built with them. Apparently over the course of time CC made changes to its included features list and a lot things my friend got with his home were now taken off the feature list. I was lucky to be able to get blinds included but only in the front of the home. Going to the showroom was very overwhelming since everything has to be picked that day and no changes can be made once ...

We love our home but all of the ongoing issues we have had and are still fighting to get corrected have been beyond exhausting. From sewage leaks to roof leaks to an incorrectly elevated front porch (those are just the bigger issues) it has been never ending since moving in and therefore left us little time to enjoy the benefits of owning a new home. Unfortunately, it will make us rethink buying a home from Century in the future. One of the biggest disappointments has been the lack of care that was put into the drywall throughout the house. Make sure you really do your research & really look into everything when buying a home from century communities. They will make everything sound super nice & awesome just to make a sell. We have had so many issues since closing, that we truly regret buying a house. Also be aware of the HOA!!!

Multiple issues with this new home from electrical to Doors and trim. Tile floors are very uneven and not level. The quality of the landscaping is the worst I have ever seen from any previous builder.

There was alot of problems with the property before and after moving in . 1st. the vent were not installed on the roof . Which got done on the closing date. 2nd been complaining about the drainage since day 1 and its killing the grass and rotting the fences . Going on 4 months now . Who would even think that clay foundation would drain correctly. Needs better grading and drain system if that's the way the engineers think clay drains . 3rd . The brick pointing needs to be redone. Bricks are cracking and there's holes all in the brick pointing. 4th 2 different tiles in upstairs ...

1. They are so busy they have no time to walk you through and talk you through the house, lot size or dimensions when buying. 2. They say that you have a year to address any issues, but hardly any are addressed. Please talk to residents there to get to know the true picture. 3. The quality of construction is BAD. I see many cracks already appearing in around walls and window frames.

The workmanship is poor. There are so many issues that I have identified during the walk through and post move in. Yet some of them are NOT resolved. I have escalated to multiple people, yet not all issues are resolved. After a time, I just gave up. I would never buy a home again from Century communities again. Neither would I recommend you guys to my family and friends.

Refused to keep our realtor in the loop. Met no deadlines. Promised that if we signed off on the closing they would fix the issues that evening. Never heard from the builder again.

The builders were vary lazy and had no sense of pride in their work. Every day I find more and more stuff that they cut corners on. From afar the house looks really nice, but once you start looking you see how terrible of a job the tradesmen did.

Sales “agents” are not very knowledgeable or serviceable. Certainly not customer focused as they will simply sell the home to another buyer instead of working with purchaser. Sales agents speak about neighboring homeowners to other purchasers and are otherwise unprofessional. Punch lists still incomplete after sale (unsurprisingly, as this seems to be a common issue, but it is surprising how unwilling they are complete lists). I would avoid. Expensive house and Century wouldnt work on price on spec home with building issues. Supervisor rude to salesperson when discussing pricing. The worst part is the build quality is poor. Windows not level. Paint all over floor. Trash buried underneath sod. Missing items that we paid for. Construction supervisor does not hold construction people accountable. The most frustrating thing is construction supervisor is poor communicator and unresponsive.

The work on the condo was rushed just to meet quotas. There is a lot of sloppy work. Balcony has not been repainted. No response from project manager when asked when they can fix anything. Overall very bad experience.

My experience with this builder was that I was often told things that were untrue and they were impossibly frustrating to get a hold of. When I agreed to purchase I was told I’d have a fenced in backyard and patio. I ended up with a balcony only. I was told one thing for the downstairs footprint, and reality was different - when I. Hard to deal with warranty department and a lot of incomplete tasks inside and outside house, I do have an AC issue since day on my second floor, several complaints been made and Century don't assume to resolve the problem, since AC system wasn't designed properly to deliver the right amount of cooling and heating. The builders don’t keep their promise to correct visible problems like botched drywall and messy paint jobs. One bathroom has the hot/cold water switched we almost burned our hands. Sales rep. not knowledgeable about certain features so it is best you ask someone in charge so you don’t buy a home and realize things you were advised were standard are an add on. You are given cheap mulch, sod and shrubs.

We made our home purchase based upon the lot. The entire process with Century was a struggle. This is a one year build. The original construction manager was replaced halfway and of course all of the agreements and understandings disappeared with him including the marked up preconstruction plans. Here is a not all inclusive list of some of the problems. Sod was just laid over rocky sand. No borders were placed between sod and landscaping. Roof is stick framed. Trees, bushes and sod are buried or placed on red clay and rocks without soil amendment. Plants, trees and grass struggle to grow. Management ignores it. Trees with root balls need to be buried in a hole 2-3 times the root ball size with healthy soil to survive. 2nd floor buckled when furniture was set in place.
