It was not a great experience. There have been so many issues with plumping and HVAC since moving in. Although they are responsive to requests, it should not have been an issue in the first place. Spending so much time trying to get things fixed!

There was a bit of a bait and switch on the pricing. The sell sheet, we were issued on a house, the sales person had written down. Once we began the contract process a new price appeared and had to be renegotiated. There was an area of the floor which felt like you were walking up hill. The difference was 5/8 of an inch drop over 4 feet. After having several contractors stop by, they decided that although this was an issue of seating of the joist on the foundation wall, they were just going to grind down the subfloor to resolve it. The contractor came and took out an 1/8, which did not resolve the issue. Ended up hiring a flooring contractor to do the quality work we expected, as we were told by the builder and his contractor, this is as good as it gets. Hand written electrical panel schedules you can barely read, I'm assuming they are in English but can't tell. No thoughtfulness applied to location of electrical components. As a former Electrician myself, I always put a bit of thought into how the owner, or user would operate a switch, or whether the middle of the wall might be used by the owner for decorations, rather than installing a switch. Just simple things like that, speak to the overall quality of the build. Many many of the neighbors have complained about issues from countertops broken from cooktop installs, to roofs leaking during one of our massive snow storms. Just poor poor quality of build. ... I moved into my house 12/31, since then there has been cracking all over the house. Floor boards are separating, and paint mismatches all over. can't hang my close in the master closet with out it falling apart. Thursday 4/9/2021 I turned my a/c on, it doesn't work. The cabinets are poorly assembled. We need to bring some to the house to inspect the construction again,

As being a first time home buyer and being able to up grade and build my home just how I envisioned for my family at the start and through out the build was very exciting. Until I did my walk through I was very shocked on how many things were left undone or not finish from cut out in the dry wall to doors not being painted, which after the walk through the superintendent had 5 days to complete or fix due to the closing date 12/28/2020. Upon my closing date I did a secondary walk with the superintendent Ryan who I showed areas of my concern such as (2) of the master bedroom windows not opening properly which later after moving in came back down on my son’s hand, areas on the walls that seem to not to get much paint, scratches on the dry wall, over spray on the stains cabinets, holes in the Grout, at one point he pointed out areas such as the Exterior pop outs needing to be repainted due to Still being able to see the gray color from the original color of the stucco. All witch are things I never signed off on but due to having to move from my old residence I had to move in however he assured me that my house would be addressed and I would be taken care off, which never happened for weeks I called him or texted him and ever week I got the same answer ( IM SORRY I GET SOME OVER THIS WEEK) after weeks of wait and be patient I tried different ways to get my house addressed such as I tried making a complaint with the sales office nothing happened, I even made a service request 3 or 4 times and I was told a ticket was created, that’s been 3 weeks now and still nothing happened, i have been in my home now been in my home for over 3 month and now to the point to where I’m looking to hire a painter and carpenter to fix my windows. Overall poor quality and workmanship. I definitely will not recommend Century to anyone. Chris helped me get most everything repaired, but there should not have been so many issues. They were all related to poor workmanship and being disorganized.

It's been a bad experience, have so many issues with the house and after repeatedly sending messages to the folks who are responsible for the warranty work, no one has contacted me. I am very disappointed with this builder, i can only hope that this degraded way of working is because of covid.

Build on the cheap. Gloss over the product with fictional hip and sell on the high side to back up the hip. It would be difficult to trust this builder if I were to still be in the market for a home and know what I know about their product. This home was to be our last home and due to our age it most likely will. Century Communities failed with this house and if the lack of workmanship present in this house is an example of their attention to design and detail, I feel others who have bought from this builder may be experiencing buyers remorse as I am feeling with ever issue I deal with. There are design issues in the Kitchen that should never have happened if the builder had been paying attention and cared just a little. The builder said the home had upgrades totaling $31,000.00 plus that they were deducting from the value of the house. I'm still looking for the $31,000.00 in upgrades. Truth be known, I believe $31,000.00 was a serious hip to sell a house that had not produced a customer in several months. The house did come with washer and dryer, side-by-side frig, and a gas range. All are low end appliances so the value is not there. We have replaced the garbage disposal because the one that came with the new house was defective. The lower cabinets on either side of the range have limited use due to the design of the kitchen which also produced flaws in drawer and cabinet door movement requiring rubber stops to be put on the range and frig to soften the contact made by the drawer near the range and upper cabinet door next to the frig. The trim paint around doors throughout the house have paint runs and a damaged corner on the guest room door frame. The $31,000.00 in upgrades did not include a Range-top Microwave which they explained away at the walk-thru as giving us an option on the type of Microwave we might want. The vent hood exhaust was so weak we purchased a Microwave sooner than expected. While installing the Microwave we discovered that the adjustable vent located inside the above-the-range cabinet was a mix of aluminum parts that did not fit together and was completely held together with aluminum tape. Another botched job hidden by a lot of lazy creativity. The builder installed landscape on the garage side of the house has plants planted on the high end of a slope that prevents the limited amount of water from the drip system from getting to the plants, We have had to remove one dead one already. The original tree on that same side was destroyed by high winds because the tree had not been properly maintained while the house was under the builder's care, but when it came time to replace the tree the staff tried to put the responsibility of replacement on me until it was proved that they were responsible for the landscaping for the first 90 days. They quickly changed that time frame to 60 days. The result of that issue caused us to be left with a new tree (stressed out from the heat) that was poorly planted and almost died until I started fertilizing and watering the tree. Still, most of the tree was lost but because there was living growth near the top of the tree, they refused to replace the tree that was not even close to the original lost tree. We have purchased other new construction homes here in the Vegas valley, but this is by far the worst experience we have had to deal with, and due to our experiences with what we asked them to take care of , we have decided to take care of our remaining issues to avoid the builder and their "warranty responsibilities". I just do not trust their commitment to their product or the oversight to see that the job is done correctly As part of the incentive to buy this house we were promised an early close which we needed to prevent storage fees and a later second move. The early close got some back-sliding but our realtor got involved to hold them to the agreed close date, the result of which caused friction among some departments who had to step up and make the close happen, but we , the customer, bore the brunt of the friction due to our unreasonable push for an early close that their sales department had agreed to. I understand the public can be difficult to work with at times, but my experience with this builder and their support staff tells me their business model is not guided by a strong desire to do their very best to accommodate the needs of the people who purchase their produce. But, It is my opinion , they do have a strong motivation to limit lot sizes and charge prices that do not reflect their product's value. ... More

Due to a leak in my wall from a drain pipe that was never properly connected to the plumbing, I’ve dealt with issue after issue. The first leak started on March 27th and I am STILL waiting for wards Er to finish repairs on July 7th. They’ve left my stove disconnected from the gas since June 18th for the repairs and I haven’t been able to cook at home since. They replaced two cabinets from the water damage and damaged another cabinet in the process, then covered the damage with a piece of unfinished trim. The builder’s workmanship is poor. They pushed closing on a house that wasn’t ready. After delays with warranty in getting the initial walk-through items fixed because of COVID shutdowns, there is still a lengthy list of things that need to be completed. No ETA on when those things will get completed, even though warranty has now been open again for about 6 weeks. Terrible customer service and terrible follow-through. Choose another builder.

Not impressed at all with the finishes and lack of quality from this builder.

Horrible experience. I am still waiting for things to be completed and I moved in 3 months ago. Quality of work is poor. Very disappointed

Extremely disappointed. Have had many problems, in addition, house has serious structural issues, which I have repeatedly brought to the attention to the Century Communities Las Vegas Management team. Thus far, my approaches have been 100% ignored. Absolutely amazing. I am disgusted.

Title says it. Would not recommend this builder. Cheap parts used throughout house.

Poor quality and workmanship. Had to spend a lot of money after moving in to upgrade electrical in home. Communication at closing very poor, just found out that the HOA dues are to be paid up front at the beginning of the year for the entire year. Was not told this at closing. Not a very trustworthy builder. Would not buy again from this company.

The houses are poorly built. I had many problems with my house after moved in less than a month. water damage, AC, water leaking etc. you name it. Let alone other small things. I have bought new houses before. I have to say Century community is by far the worst regarding to quality which is the essence to the builder. Really hope Century Community can take the quality seriously. People are buying houses to live there for years to come. Please have some work ethics and build good houses. Otherwise, you are just wasting land!

We already put in a lengthy review. Our experience was less than pleasant.

We are having major problems - as well as our neighbors. Floor, HVAC, major settling, drywall issues, yard issues, etc. Overall very inferior workmanship. First response to a problem is always the cheap way out. Argument ensues. After several more proposed "solutions" they finally agree to do the right thing - which is never done with excellence. Paid for a new house. Got a house full of problems and headaches. 100% regret buying.

I will never recommend this company to anyone. Cheap materials and poor work ethics!

Extremely poor quality of building materials and workmanship. Dismal value for the price paid. Responsiveness to issue is also dismal. It is the worst house we have ever had and we have owned many houses.

Century runs all design, construction, and management decisions from a corporate level without granting any flexibility to the individual markets. They care 100% on numbers and not perception or customer feedback. My 30 day post closing review that criticized Century's processes was used to reprimand the local team who were doing everything they could under the constraints of the corporate policies coming out of Denver. I have also had to fight for repairs under warranty that were deemed unnecessary until the 10-month warranty repair, with a complete lack of understanding that the items need to be repaired now due to seasonal issues coming up or potential larger repairs in 10 months by not fixing a small item now. Rushed to buy Home quality compromised as it was rushed to be completed by end of year Poor communication Turnover of employees Carpet and hardwood floor needing to be replaced 90 days in

I never imagined my new home would be this much if a disappointment. From the superintendent to the new orientation, and not to forget the poor quality. Once we moved in everything has gone downhill, and all of our concerns have proven to be legitimate issues within our home.
