Bought a brand new home. Has rodent issues. Turns out other homes in the neighborhood have the same. Team not very receptive. Not buying home from Century again.

Once we were in the house, we started noticing a lot of problems with house and landscaping. It was very frustrating and hard to get problems resolved. We wish that we could turn back the hard of time before we purchase.

There was alot of problems with the property before and after moving in . 1st. the vent were not installed on the roof . Which got done on the closing date. 2nd been complaining about the drainage since day 1 and its killing the grass and rotting the fences . Going on 4 months now . Who would even think that clay foundation would drain correctly. Needs better grading and drain system if that's the way the engineers think clay drains . 3rd . The brick pointing needs to be redone. Bricks are cracking and there's holes all in the brick pointing. 4th 2 different tiles in upstairs ...

I've been in my new home for 3 1/2 months right now and have not been happy with the quality of workmanship and materials of the home both inside and out-things are began to fall apart and when I send home warranty request I have to send them twice before anyone answers and when they do they said my phone number was not working but yet they have my email address and I'm certain I put the correct phone on the warranty request. I know they are cheap homes but still the workmanship and materials should not be cheap, I'm just not use to this quality of anything and I guess the saying "you get ...

Honestly, the home buying experience was a disaster. Jimmy was so hard to get ahold of, and wasn’t always true to his word. At some point he blocked my phone number even though we have been waiting for a refund from them from another problem earlier on. Before we closed we had our third party trusted inspector go out to inspect the house on their request claiming that the house was done, it was not ready. This happened 3 times and we had to pay out of our pocket the return fees. We were told by Jimmy that we would be getting a refund for that because the fault was on them. Still waiting for ...

Salesman sucked, no guidance, and no responses from their offices. Have been in my new home 4 months and still waiting on issues that should have been fixed prior to move in.

It feels like Im leaving in a paper house. You can hear everything from the outside. The cabinets falling apart. The plumbing sucks. The finishing/ base boards not finished. The main door (cheap) handle lose. I can continue, but I just want to cry.

Century Communities - They rush you and make you seem like you have to sign and close

They rush you and make you seem like you have to sign and close when they want. After you move in there is a bunch of problems that they take their time on completing and give you the run around. And cause more issues to get fixed

Untrustworthy... Poor construction controls... Lacks empathy...

  • Nolan H.

Century Communities does a great job at selling you a dream home, but lacks accountability and controls of their construction processes. Do you want to feel happy about your purchase and reassured that all requirements in the development and construction processes were met? Do you want a builder that follows through on their commitments when they’ve made an error? Wouldn’t you rather not have to chase down executives at their company to understand what’s going on with your property’s issues? If so, then I suggest you avoid Century Communities as your builder.

Century Communities responded:
Nolan- We will make contact with the team. If you have any outstanding concerns please go to www.centurycommunities.com their is a tab for homeowners to submit any outstanding work orders.

Foundation is not good

Century Communities responded:
Dear Ngoc: our team is attempting to reach out to you to better understand the comment about the foundation, as our interactions and feedback from you -- up to this point -- have not indicated a concern with the concrete. There are allowable tolerances for concrete movement, and during our visit, we will determine whether it's normal settlement or something that requires additional attention.
