FROM MY INITIAL CONTACT WITH LINA IN THE SALES OFFICE WHEN I PURCHASED THE HOME, TO TIM DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOME WHO KEPT ME COMPLETELY INFORMED ABOUT THE PROGRESS TO KEVIN FOR THE CLOSING AND TRANSFER OF THE HOME, TO THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT WHO WAS SUPPORTIVE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESSS, MY CENTURY COMMUNITIES HOME PURCHASING EXPERIENCE HAS RESULTED IN MY LIVING IN AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOME, THANKS TO THE CENTURY COMMUNITIES TEAM WITH WHOM I ENJOYED WORKING AND KNOWING. I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED.

Very professional people. They made home buying process very easy. We love our new home. There were some minor issues after buying. They were readily available and helped us with those issues.

Nice value for the price of the house. Century Community employees in Port Orchard have been a joy to work with.

Great area and super construction supers and office people,( Mick, Kevin and Todd) Construction done with cheap and of lessor quality materials and not a finished product one would expect for the price paid. Still have trash and construction junk next to our home on common area and which is covered in scotch broom. Numerous calls for cleanup, but nothing yet.

So far things have gone well. we have had a few issues that have been resolved. As issues come up, the team (Kevin) has been great and always available when needed. Paint quality/type has been our biggest frustration. Every touch of the wall shows and requires a re-paint of the surface. It would be nice if you had used a semi-gloss, to help with ease of care. Soil is also an issue! The ground is so freaking hard, trying to put anything in the ground, such as sprinkler or yard decor, requires an axe or a drill. Water just pools or runs off into the street as it cannot absorb into the soil. ... More

First the good: Responsive to issues and communication. Good core building (foundation, structure, wiring, plumbing, roof, and HVAC). They went above and beyond with ensuring land stability. Lots of home customizations available. The OK: The appliances aren't anything to brag about (Whirlpool). Landscaping was fine, nothing super. A lot of the shelving is adequate, but a wood upgrade would make it amazing. The standard carpet is OK. Only putting laminate in the kitchen seems odd. A vinyl floor would have been great. The bad: Painting QA wasn't too good and seemed hurried. Seemingly odd work schedules... Lots of last-minute work when there was ample time for un-hurried completion. We were very pleased with the reception we received on taking possession, also information and walk through very thorough. We are so far pleased with the workmanship. Our biggest issue is old school Formica on guest bathroom vanity and laundry area counter, for a half million dollars, we do not want to see Formica on counters. Also the quartz is 2cm thick. It would look a lot better and be more durable if was 3cm thick. The cost difference between the two is insignificant. We do not feel you get good value for your money in the Seattle area, considering this is 60 driving miles from Seattle. ... More

Houses are beautiful from a distance. After settling in, began discovering mulitiple workmanship and craftsmanship issues that weren't expected for a half a million dollar home. What's more, the company representative assigned to resolve our issues attempted to convince me that the defects we were finding were supposed to be that way. Improperly cut glass shower doors, warped or damaged flooring, paint and drywall putty stained carpets, and faulty track rollers on closet doors are among the defects discovered that took too long to correct or still pending resolution. The stained carpet is the one we don't have firm commitment on resolution. At half a million dollars, I didn't expect to move into a house with carpets stained during construction. And what's more I didn't expect to be told I needed to be the one responsible for cleaning. ... More

Plus: new house, lot of square footage. Minus: very small lot, very restrictive CC&Rs, relatively cheap details, such as low-grade carpet, laminate floors, no handles on cupboards, formica counter-tops in secondary bathrooms. Low water pressure. No door out of garage. Development is pretty far away from any service, other than the golf course.

siding, framing, windows with broken seals and cabinets with finish issues. Waiting on responsiveness to issues. Cheap finishings and appliances. REGRET MY PURCHASE!!! Watching my sheet rock screws pop thru my dry wall as the house settles. Cant close my garage door leading into the house.
