The process was 99% positive. During final walk thru there were several things not completed and missed. Made a mistake after our construction manager asked to sign off even though not 100% then the next day got an email from him asking for a good review, we did. Then still waiting to get things fixed. Dishwasher was not hooked up at all. So I had to do it myself…. Door from garage to laundry room was missing a seal so bugs have easy access, had hire a exterminator…

The home buying process is rather easy. It is trying to get things fixed that were noted on the walkthru that have not been completed.

We notified our project manager Steve of issues with our kitchen cabinets during walkthrough, at move in and after move in. Still has not been repaired. Almost 90 days later we finally have an appointment for repair after far too many emails and phone calls. There was non communication through the process - finally got the Customer Service Manager to assist. Thanks Tatiania! Still had to wait another 3 weeks to get an escalated schedule. Week 7 our microwave started spewing smoke, a board had burnt up. We called Customer Service who redirected us to Whirlpool warranty. Their safety team told us to shut off the circuit breaker as it was unsafe to use. There are no repair parts. The Pulte project manager said he would contact their Whirlpool Representative to see if he could assist in providing options. Crickets! The owner of the appliance repair company indicated if/when we got a new board it could burn up too. No guarantees. After a month of waiting, the safety concerns and no answers in sight we purchased a replacement, Now we have to wait 2-4 weeks for Whirlpool to pick up the old one and provide a refund check. Have a minor floor board issue. Have to wait a month to get that addressed. It is frustrating to see all these same service people driving around in our neighborhood doing new installations and prior buyers have to wait so long. We were so excited to purchase and move in to this community. The lack of communication and delays in repair have been very disappointing. Working with Ken in sales was really good, he kept us informed about the progress of our home up till it was finished. Our building Supervisor Kohl kept in touch with us on each step of the build and corrected any issues that we had along the way. Right now we're compiling a list of items that need to be corrected and will wait and see how that is handled.

Not enough qualified and experienced tradesman out there to get the quality as expected. Just take a look at your customer care center and look at how many follow ups for building flaws there are. It’s rediculous. Do it right the first time or don’t do it at all.

I love my neighborhood however the building process was rough. The project manager hardly initiated communication, I always had to ask for updates. When issues were found and brought to his attention I was told " that's normal" however I am familiar with building code and they were not following code.

The buying experience was great. The builder is terrible. The contractor did not return calls. A lot of items were not completed. I sent an email to the warranty department with the list of items that were not completed and they sent an email that someone would contact me. That was over a month ago and still no contact.

Getting the home was great but Getting a home whit lots of problems was a disappointment. Roof tile, roof vents not there. A kid could have painted the house better. Missing window. Holes in AC vent pipes. And many more things.

We feel the sales person was very helpful and guided us to choose the right home for us. Once the build began it was downhill from there. We pointed out several mistakes in the build to our project manager and as time went by it was clear the mistakes were not being addressed. Now that we have taken procession of our home it has been a month and there are so many problems with the inside and outside paint, we have mismatched medicine cabinets, our cabinets turned out very badly and the carpet tack strips come through the carpet. There are also major scratches on the windows and slider doors. There are more but I will stop there. We have submitted our 30-day repair order and now we wait for scheduling for all the repairs that should have been done before we closed. We recently had visitors for the holidays and I was embarrassed to show this new home of ours to them with all of the blue tape pointing to all the flaws that need repair. This community is very nice but they need to keep a better eye on their tradesmen due to their quality being poor. ... More

The sales, construction, and design teams were delightful to work with and provided added value. The Escrow team, not so much, poor communication and their communication portal could not be opened.

This was about as easy as it gets to purchase a high quality home.

We have bought a few new homes in our life. The builder of this home is the best in quality and staff support. Excellent work throughout the experience.

From purchase to move in the entire process was smooth.

Good overall experience with the process of building and purchasing.

I would recommend using a third party agent that has your back to take care of some of the requirements in purchasing a new home

Wish there was more info provided about steps in the buying process. Also since models have higher end features, when making your final selections the design should inform buyers about affects of options chosen. For example, if you select the arch package your baseboards will not be standard (now curves). Found out near end of process videos were available ( and wasn’t told) to talk about steps in the homebuying purchase. More info about earnest deposit and how is applied to final purchase or not. More info also about extra paid for additional options chosen and how it is applied to final purchase or not. People were friendly. Would also say since my spouse had never purchased a new house before that more communication would have allayed fears and more info about process the total build process took over 14 months from start to finish. ... Salesman Jerry, excellent. Came in on day off to accommodate our schedules. Construction Superintendent Blaze did great job of keeping home on schedule & keeping us informed.

Nice home. Wish closing wasn’t rushed for a better walkthrough experience.

Good construction manager and superintendent! Average and sloppy subcontractors. Good follow up and correction of building flaws and imperfections created by subcontractors.

All in all a good experience

Understand you contract before you buy.

Steve was our contact in the construction of our home. He was very responsive to our concerns and questions. We never had a problem getting in contact with him and as we were not able to visit the job site he worked very well with our local contact person. Any issues with construction were addressed immediately. Great job and a great house. Thank you Del Webb and Steve.

Very well built home overall. Brian, our construction manager was great at attending to any issues we've had.

Dana did a great job of communication and keeping us informed. Overall the home is completed well. There are some things that in the design process should be pointed out so changes can be made to make logical choices that are not visible until after you move in like light switch placement when certain door choices are made and other similar items. These things Pulte should know and could point out to buyers. Also attention to detail around trim finish, paint on switch plates and the low quality of the under- counter lighting finishing were a bit of a disappointment all of which we have resolved on our own. We realize we are not buying a custom home and as such the above items perhaps should be expected in a spec home even though the cost was above the typical tract house. I think the final inspection process by the Pulte team needs to be a lot more critical and detailed so as to catch many of these things. One last item is the SST offerings, in particular the WiFi access points. In today’s environment these really are of little use. The WiFi routers supplied by the Internet providers (Cox, Quantum) often free, provide the same( or in our case) better WiFi coverage throughout our home AND yard. As of today the Access points we have are of little use and remain the single largest regret we have about the purchase experience. ... More

Definitely more attention needed to detail in the cleanup process before closing and occupancy; paint spots in many places including floors, counters, electrical outlet plates, lighting fixtures and plumbing fixtures to name a few. To make our experience great overall, the above named issues could have easily been handled. Thank you.
