I’ll preface this by first saying we love our house, lot location and the community. As for home buying experience with Pulte, can’t say the same. Once purchase agreement was signed our salesperson Mike turned into a ghost. “Zero” communication from him and rarely returned calls or emails. Construction team not much better with lack of communication seeming to be a common thread within the Pulte organization. Even though it took a year we are moderately satisfied. The quality is ok but nothing to write home about. We lived in a new rental during the building process that had better quality then our new home. We have grout missing, scratches in our countertops and are still waiting for our drawer pulls, we are happy to live in our community but at a price of mediocre quality home.

I always heard great things about Pulte homes but never lived in one. Now that I own one and see the homes around me being built I have a different opinion. I don't understand why Pulte would use flat paint on the inside of the house. Also, the sides and bake of the house only have one or two panels of wood before the foam ,chicken. wire and stucco are applied. I am able to use a sharp object and with enough force poke it straight through the wall from the outside into the inside. Our electrical system is not operational in some parts of the home. While we completely understand the issues with labor and materials in this current environment, we don't understand why we were not proactively kept informed regarding delays. Unless we contacted our construction supervisor and pressed him for information, we were not informed about any changes in the schedule. There were too many things left undone in the house at closing.

We would highly ask for Elaine if you're interested in this community. She is absolutely fantastic. Communication was great and she even sent us pictures of the build progress since we live out of state. Elaine is 5 stars!!! Everything about the community is top notch. The home designs are very good and there's plenty of options to get exactly what you want. So all that is 5 stars. The builder needs to take more time and making sure that the home is in good working order, before handing over to the homeowner. They need to hire more staff on the Job Sites to insure that this happens. We are now hiring an Inspector to make sure that this house has been built propertly .

We bought during covid, so things were definitely different. I don’t think the design center was very helpful when it came time to pick things out. Good thing I brought my daughter with. I thought the quality of the build could have been better. The painters were the worst, still finding paint drips to this day. Good idea to make weekly visits to check on progress, with covid and living in another state this was difficult for us. Our sales consultant and field manager were great to work with, unfortunately the field manager left a month after we moved in.

I am very disappointed in the lack of pride or workmanship in the house. We have many ongoing issues to be corrected. Some of which are out of square walls which they will not correct. Hardwood flooring that was damaged and has been repaired twice only to be damaged even more while repairs happened. Many blemishes in the texturing and pour drywall finishing including a huge gap above one door that appeared it was just hammered out. Some electrical issues that were not correctly wired. Mediocre for these reasons. Here are some of many after move in. Floors, counters filthy on move in and was promised it would be cleaned during walkthrough. Leaking plumbing after day one. After a month they still have not cleaned all the paint splatter and epoxy globs they left on tile floor. Cracked tile, glass scratches, missing outlet covers, sink drain stoppers not working, obviously out of line can lights… Here is the low down. DelWebb/Pulte is a production builder. They claim quality but supervisors do not do quality control so you are depending on quality sub-contractors they ...

We knew post pandemic that building a new home in Arizona was going to be a challenge. It was worse than anticipated. We decided to take a chance and pay the inflated price for the house and the “upgrades”. A 9 month build turned into 15 months. The quality during the build was average, too many things to list. The finish quality is average at best, poor drywall, texture and very poor interior and exterior paint.

Our home was 3 months delayed from when the closing was initially scheduled. Overall, we are pleased with our home. There are several things that need repaired and completed. The process to get these things done is extremely slow. We’ve been trying for two months now and nothing has been done. Some of the finish work is questionable. You can tell that the sub-contractors are in a hurry and make lots of mistakes. I’ve counted over 50 drywall mistakes throughout our home. Many missed painting spots and paint on floors, cabinets, trim, etc. The baseboards have several installation issues as well.

I enjoyed working with the Pulte team to purchase our new home. Once we were in and looked around closely, I was disappointed to find things like the paint quality and some of the fixtures were not very good at all. I wish the builder would have used much less water in the paint and upgraded things like the water connects for the sinks and toilets, as well as the towel racks and toilet paper holders.

After our purchase and final walk through we found some issues we didn't see during the final walk through. Our bad, I admit.
