I feel the overall experience was underwhelming. Very dissappointed in materials and quality of work. It seems that Pulte is not interested in building a quality home. The amount if stucco is half the amount that was homes they built previously. Quality if cabinets are horrible and the paint they used is very cheap. They told us that everything found on the walk through would be fixed by the time they turned over the keys. They had only fixed a small percentage.

We have been lied to since the beginning. Additional golf course and club house we were told they were building - apparently Pulte knew as far back as 2017 that was not going to happen. Final punch list has barely been touched, Pulte didn't even do touch up paint! Still waiting on several items like mirrors! Throughout the process there were things that should have been red flags and not addressed. Now I’m in the house with multiple issues and no resolution as to when or if they will be resolved. I get tossed from one person to the next and my problem never gets fixed. Been in house a month and TOLD It will be another month for an appointment and not all will be fixed on first go around. Microwave/oven doesn’t match other appliances and doesn’t fit in the slot. Cupboards were never adjusted and there are gaps, etc. Thomas was not caring or personable at all. Bowed walls in some rooms. Window screens have screens not attached in frame. Careless work on most things.

Extremely dishonest sales staff. Promises were made and not kept. The day we walked our home, and paid the initial deposit, there were stainless steal appliances. The day we closed and received our keys the stainless steel appliances had been removed and replaced with downgraded black appliances. Extremely sad and disappointed with our experience.

We told our construction supervisor in November the cabinet doors had to be replaced 27 doors and nothing.

Building a new home should be fun, but this experience was awful. The workers were unskilled laborers who couldn’t speak English and left garbage everywhere. We have crooked walls, paint on the floors, garbage in the attic, crooked wall switches, frayed carpet entering the bedrooms, We are missing mirrors, towel racks, bathroom hardware, and need our doors re-keyed for our front door. Pulte’s representatives say anything to appease, but don’t resolve any issues. They make excuses. We paid way too much money for this home and would never buy from them again.

The Finnish work is sloppy. Once I signed the papers none of the problems with the house were fixed. ZERO communication on follow up. Seems like they just want to move on to building more houses and don’t care about customer satisfaction.

The purchase and closing on our house was very good, However now that we are in, we closed December 17 2021, we have had a roof leak that damaged the garage and laundry room that has still out been repaired. Can not get anyone to answer the phone or emails concerning this and we have become very frustrated. We were buying what we thought was a great lifestyle in SUn City Festival. That was quickly subdued by the quality of the house we had built for a half million dollars, the extremely high up charges at the design center and the extreme lack of attention to rectify some of the many problems. Pulte has a well known name out there, but beware Pulte uses some cheap materials so it looks good. Contractors hurry to get done, but don't check that their work is operable. The painters will paint your walls and ceilings, but paint splatters appear on your tile, cabinets, hardwood floors, doors and garage floors . Upgrades are way overpriced. My suggestion is to put in the standard low grade products and after closing gut the house. Make sure to prewire everything. You will save a ton of money on flooring and countertops alone besides other items that can easily be replaced.

We were forced to close on a new home that had multiple issues - we asked to delay the closing until items were resolved and were told no unless we were willing to pay the daily fine for not closing. So, I have cabinets that are scratched, drawers that don't close properly, etc., interior doors that were not painted properly, medicine cabinet was forced into the opening which cracked the metal due to forcing into position and the problems with the roof are too many to list here along with pages of other issues. This is a beautiful community and well cared for by the residents and HOA. The entire building process was LONG (14 months). Originally told it would be 9-10 at contract signing. Long periods of waiting with little communication and no sense of urgency. The builder seems more interested in producing their spec homes than finishing the contracted homes. We have built over 20 homes in multiple cities over the years, this was by far the worst experience we have had.

Due to the overwhelming amount of homes the superintendent’s have to oversee at one time as well as pressure to close on the homes doesn’t allow them to have any quality control over the process over ones’s individual home. This results in trade contractors redoing what’s already been completed to make repairs, molding replacement, drywall repair and repeated painting over newly installed carpet. This is my 8th new construction build and hands down the worse experience. Starting with my first salesperson who was so untrained and incompetent that I started looking at existing homes. A homeowner recommended a different sales person. He was very knowledgeable, but did not share complete information. This is advertised as a Dell Webb 55 community. It is a Pulte build, which has many class action lawsuits and they are building a family section within the neighborhood, which should have been disclosed. I call the home my 300K mobile home. I've owned numerous homes including new homes. The workmanship and build quality is far below other home builders. My daughter just bought a new Meritage. No comparison, their quality, sales practices and construction management is superior in every aspect. Pulte thrives in deception. They don't disclose hidden fees and when asked about it you get different stories depending on who you talk to. Their construction manager had no clue.
