Unfortunately, I don’t have much good to say. The frustration experienced with expecting a quality build and getting less than that is terrible, especially when it’s next to impossible to get anything taken care of after closing. Response time, or rather lack of response is so unprofessional, and as a new homeowner who was assured I would be taken care of, quite more than disappointing. I'm going to put my comments into context of purchasing and building home during an extremely challenging time of Covid, supply chain issues and labor shortages. Our home took exactly one year to construct. Pre-Covid homes were built within 5-7 months. With that said, we were surprised at the lack of quality of materials and craftsmanship for a home in our price range. Took longer than expected

Building took longer than expected. Several issues with the roof that need to be repaired, The cabinets need repairs. Never recieved our cutlery drawer. Garbage can lids are bent. Painter missed several spots. Tile has different color gout in primary bath because they had to replace a tile. A hair line crack in a tile in primary bath. Hole in wall where the plumbing fixture drains. I could go on.

We’ve had experience with Pulte before and it was good. Pulte today is unresponsive to all the mistakes in the workmanship of these homes. At this point, I’m terribly disappointed in Pulte. It appears that nobody wants to take responsibility.

Large bureaucracy that struggles to provide customer service.

Disappointed in dealing with the Pulte bureaucracy when trying to get minors changes made during the build process. Pulte was more concerned with the process of building your house than it was to making sure they provided great customer service. Had to pay a $250 service charge to change out a refrigerator that cost less than the refrigerator that Pulte had scheduled for the house. Painting is a very poor quality and still cleaning or touching up paint issues.

We have been lied to since the beginning. Additional golf course and club house we were told they were building - apparently Pulte knew as far back as 2017 that was not going to happen. Final punch list has barely been touched, Pulte didn't even do touch up paint! Still waiting on several items like mirrors! Extremely dishonest sales staff. Promises were made and not kept. The day we walked our home, and paid the initial deposit, there were stainless steal appliances. The day we closed and received our keys the stainless steel appliances had been removed and replaced with downgraded black appliances. Extremely sad and disappointed with our experience.

The purchase and closing on our house was very good, However now that we are in, we closed December 17 2021, we have had a roof leak that damaged the garage and laundry room that has still out been repaired. Can not get anyone to answer the phone or emails concerning this and we have become very frustrated. Pulte has a well known name out there, but beware Pulte uses some cheap materials so it looks good. Contractors hurry to get done, but don't check that their work is operable. The painters will paint your walls and ceilings, but paint splatters appear on your tile, cabinets, hardwood floors, doors and garage floors . Upgrades are way overpriced. My suggestion is to put in the standard low grade products and after closing gut the house. Make sure to prewire everything. You will save a ton of money on flooring and countertops alone besides other items that can easily be replaced.

We were forced to close on a new home that had multiple issues - we asked to delay the closing until items were resolved and were told no unless we were willing to pay the daily fine for not closing. So, I have cabinets that are scratched, drawers that don't close properly, etc., interior doors that were not painted properly, medicine cabinet was forced into the opening which cracked the metal due to forcing into position and the problems with the roof are too many to list here along with pages of other issues. I worked with three builders and they were all excellent. The vendors you use are horrible. My home was very dirty when I moved in. Caulking not complete, stained and scratched floors, cupboards don’t close properly. Scratched granite countertops, etc.

The Finnish work is sloppy. Once I signed the papers none of the problems with the house were fixed. ZERO communication on follow up. Seems like they just want to move on to building more houses and don’t care about customer satisfaction.

We were buying what we thought was a great lifestyle in SUn City Festival. That was quickly subdued by the quality of the house we had built for a half million dollars, the extremely high up charges at the design center and the extreme lack of attention to rectify some of the many problems. Pulte Homes communications are terrible. More excuses than carter has pills!!!!!!! Took 17 months to get into the house. Cost us alot of money due to rising interest rates.
