Quality of work is extremely poor in every aspect. Materials for exterior/ interior is of poor quality. Little to no communication with anyone from Pulte. Pulte gives you only 30 days from closing to file issues or problems on your home. It is stressful enough just moving in without having to worry about your 30 day notice from Pulte. Do you think Pulte will fix those issues or problems in 30 days?

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Really quite shocking and hard to describe in a few sentences. No one cares, no one knows, no one follows up with anything.

They just keep selling although they are way, way, behind on fixing the "punch lists" of almost everyone who has built in the past year. Items ordered for replacement being diverted to complete new houses. Senior construction people leaving in droves as the stress of trying to offer some semblance of customer service deteriorates further and further. Class action suits being filed and more and more are joining every day. Hard to believe that this can end any way but badly. We're selling while prices are high and before the whole thing implodes. The quality of our Pulte home is the most expensive yet lowest quality home we have built out of 5 new home builds over 35 years.

Even many of the upgrades still are cheap materials. The workmanship is a zero out of 5 stars. The drywall and texture in every corner looks like a 6 year old did the work. The paint is so watered down that you need to repaint the inside of your house right away. The cabinets are cheap and half of them don't close properly. The brand new bathroom countertops came scratched and lare so cheap that I am afraid to put anything on the counter. Del Webb/Pulte sales staff has slick marketing and friendly folks to sell their product. As we waited over the next 6 months, we heard nothing other than from the money people wanting to make sure we paid. Our "celebration walk" (looks great in the video, smiling customers, clean home, etc.) was a DISASTER. The home was SO dirty - floors, cabinets, walls, ceilings and they were ALL damaged or so poorly finished we couldn't believe they would turn over a house in such a condition. Don't Over Promise & Under Deliver!!

Our experience was not at all what we were promised. Finding out someone had put a cigarette out in our walk-in shower to finding a banana peel hanging in the spare room closest. The workmanship for the price we paid is very poor. We have had numerous issues with getting things complete. Commutation with our field manager is awful. We should not have to be the ones to contact people in order to have things fixed.

Our poor quality of workmanship was created by having 5 different field managers exchange responsibility throughout the build of our home. POOR management system. OUR HOME IS FULL OF ITEMS NEEDING RREPAIRED AND THEY ARE CHOOSING TO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MISTAKES such as cracked window, unsmooth granite countertops with sharp edges.. Pulte is only in it for the profit. Build quality very poor... They'll tell you one thing and do another.

The poor workmanship of this house builder

The quality is very poor, the work is like your getting a starter house, as cheap as you can build. This builder does not take pride in building home, issues after issues. I had mold on wood and this builder would not replace the wood, just cover the wood up. Just lots of cheap materials in house.

New home needs a lot of work

Major issues found upon move in. Builder is months behind and can’t fix. These are not warranty issues the issues are sloppy workmanship and DelWebb not supervising their contractors to assure of a quality home build. This is our fourth home build. We are very disappointed in the final product.

Not what we thought

As we are in our new home from Pulte we are seeing the REAL quality of our home. We thought we were getting a quality built home, but things like the painting on the outside & inside was a just a rushed job. The quality of the cabinets are poor, even though they were expensive. The drywall was done poorly & the grouting of the tile we are still trying to get fixed! After you close, you cannot get the person you were working with for repairs to call you back to get the work completed, our work supervisor. At this point we are totally dissatisfied with the way we are being treated.

poor quality of a home

paint comes off walls, 24 inch centers on some walls can not hang cabinets, if something is wrong no one fixes it during construction, it seems like the house has to go up as fast as it can and don't care about quality of home, don't prime walls before top coat, worst home I ever had
