We moved from out of state and we were promised by the site manager and sales team that all the issues that were reported would be taken care of and the house would be cleaned and move in ready when we arrived. That was far from true. We arrived three days prior to closing and were told by the site manager Josh that everything would be completed before closing. The house was filthy and needed many repairs. Many Workmanship Issues; Extremely Poor Follow-up

We thought we bought a new house from Del Webb/Pulte; not a fixer-upper! After moving in, we had nearly 60 issues requiring repair or replacement. It’s been nearly two months since receiving the keys to our house and there are still 30 issues remaining. Many of them are major issues. Poor oversight during construction along with poor workmanship are the root causes for having so many repair issues after closing. Extremely slow follow up caused by a very disorganized process for making post construction repairs is as frustrating as finding so many repair issues after closing.

The whole experience was terrible and still is. All you do is ask for things to be fixed which should of been right from the beginning. You have to wait for everything to be done. Pulte doesn’t want to fix things that should of been done in the begging. For the amount of money you spend on these homes you should get a much better product.

Moved in house and the list of issues is long. The biggest issue is the house is a energy efficient home. We pay double on our APS compared to our neighbors that have a bigger house. By 500 Sq Feet. Find out NO flashing on back of house. AC not working correct. When you email Pulte no answer. going on 2 months living in house and AC runs at 80 degrees all the time and we still pay $450 a month on APS bill. Not happy with Pulte.

Terrible workmanship

The finish work on the home was absolutely awful. Wall texturing and paint work was beyond terrible, unpainted sections in closets and behind toilets, trim work looked like it was done by amateurs. We had home inspection after our move in and found multiple errors on the roof where missing tiles could let water get unit the home, the outside stucco wasn’t much better. They drywalled over vents that were supposed to be on the patio that could cause roof damage. Overall my wife and I were very disappointed for the amount of money this home cost us to have to be put through his is despicable.

Pushed back my closing 3 times without any communication, which equated to an extra 6 months before I could move. This ended up costing me several thousand extra dollars because I had to pay for storage and 2 moves instead of one. Also purchased the Kitchenaid upgrade package, but they changed my cooktop to a Frigidaire without communicating anything to me. I found out about it after I signed my papers and gave them my money when I did the final walkthrough to get my keys. When I addressed the matter with Pulte, they told me to go buy it and install it myself. So I did not get the upgrade ...

This was the most frustrating experience ever! Very poor communication during the build. Many flaws in quality. Independent inspection revealed many significant issues that have yet to be repaired by you. The build ran 3 months past the window of time. The builder constantly lies to you. They have no intention of honoring any promises made to you. The build quality is absolute rubbish and service and communications are even more rubbish to even non-existent. Do not walk away from Pulte and Del Webb…run away. The entire experience has been terrible and some I suspect even criminal. Never again.

The project took months longer than expected. The materials and workmanship were also below expectations. And it has been difficult to get the builder to handle the deficiencies. This is our third home in this project. And our fourth Del Webb home. So we have previous builds for comparison. And this one was quite unacceptable from our perspective.

If you like moving into a home that got more paint on floor than walls and paint runs all over walls,big lumps of drywall compound on walls and ceiling’s . The edges not finished and cabinet doors that are hard to open and a cook top that you can drop dimes down to the next door underneath than pulte is your builder, had to wait two weeks to watch a TV because we had a electrical problem,and you people made us wait two weeks because we’re such valued customers and the rest of the repairs we have two wait 6 weeks,I’m not impressed one bit by you people

Had a independent home inspector inspect the home at my own expense. He that found significant issues that showed that builder had no internal controls or inspections done before releasing the home. After 30 days since turning the report in to the builder customer care, still have not even had a response.

This entire experience has been a disaster. Appaling workmanship using non English speaking workers who have zero respect for your property. I located 12 beer cans hidden under insulation. Zero communication and once they get your money you no longer exist. We have numerous unresolved issues including a leak in our roof. We acted in good faith all the way along and we were treated terrible with the exception of Steve our site supervisor.

When we first bought out lot and started building We were very excited. . Del Webb had a great building reputation. Boy had things changed. The workmen ship was terrible. No pride at all in anything that was done. ANDREW was negligent in his oversight duties. Did not follow contract! Argued positions even after I showed him the specific items he omitted from contract!. We closed on January 10, 2022 and the house is not complete and I have not received return calls to me trying to call Pulte representatives!

Would NOT recommend Pulte Homes to any of our family or friends and would have never taken possession of the home if we didn't stand to lose a lot of money that was already put down on the build. I am waiting on issues to be fixed yhat shouldn't have to. This is the worst home buying experience I have EVER had. There are number of repairs needed. The home was never cleaned before keys were released. There is no quality control. Throw them together and hand off the keys. No one cares.

Quality of work is extremely poor in every aspect. Materials for exterior/ interior is of poor quality. Little to no communication with anyone from Pulte. Pulte gives you only 30 days from closing to file issues or problems on your home. It is stressful enough just moving in without having to worry about your 30 day notice from Pulte. They just keep selling although they are way, way, behind on fixing the "punch lists" of almost everyone who has built in the past year. Items ordered for replacement being diverted to complete new houses. Senior construction people leaving in droves as the stress of trying to offer some semblance of customer service deteriorates further and further. Even many of the upgrades still are cheap materials. The workmanship is a zero out of 5 stars. The drywall and texture in every corner looks like a 6 year old did the work. The paint is so watered down that you need to repaint the inside of your house right away. The cabinets are cheap and half of them don't close properly. The brand new bathroom countertops came scratched and lare so cheap that I am afraid to put anything on the counter. As we waited over the next 6 months, we heard nothing other than from the money people wanting to make sure we paid.
