Excellent customer service for issues.

smooth painless experience

We love our home and appreciate the guys who responded to take care of the items that needed tweeks. All were suberp. Only issue I have is with having to install a R/O system to our kitchen sink and frig. We were informed by our field manager, which I was very grateful for, after we purchased would have like to have been told upfront especially since I specifically asked prior to buying.

I was happy to have had someone living in Sun City West that could keep track of the process. There were some issues that needed addressing in my absence as I was selling my home in Wash State until I moved down in late July. I enjoyed meeting my Project Mgr and consider him a friend. I was disappointed however. I had my Realtor Rep with me as well as my friend from SC when I made my selections at the Expressions Center. I had selected to be able to pick out my granite. I was excited to get the call to come down and select it. As it turned out, it was not put into my contract. I was also not aware at the time of selection that it would cost me $800 to do this. I had my representative select it as it was unable to return so late in the game and in the midst of my sell of my home and moving. I would have agreed. What disappointed as well, was that I was charged an additional $200 to make the change in my contract. It was not my fault that I WAS NOT INFORMED OF IT at the time I completed my contract selection..I was living out of state and returned for this meeting. I called Expressions to ask why I had not heard from them regarding my selection of granite . Both of my witnesses at the expression center said they heard me say yes to granite selection and nothing saying it would be additional $800. Like I said before, I would have agreed to that as it was such a special purchase. Aside from that, someone tried to rip my fire insert out after it was put in and before the house was secured by locks. Facing was found outside in the dirt! I had to insist that a crack in my foundation running full width of my house be sealed. I had electrical outlets placed in wrong places and EVEN had some covered up by the sheet rock contractors, which was missed by foreman!! Broken window by workers took weeks to finally get replaced. The quality of craftsmanship is not what I thought it would be and what I would expect from the wonderful advertisement. I was frustrated with the sloppiness and poor work done on my ventilation system . Crooked not centered off center. The quality of some the subcontractors is suspect and need to be addressed. Numerous owners around have complained about the work on their places. I hoped I wouldn't have problems but that is not realistic. I expect that the warranties and customer service be top shelf. I realize their is a lot of homes going up! I think the project Managers have too many to handle to be able to produce the quality that you expect. Many sub contractors that represent Pulte very poor skills and it seems it’s more about quantity than quality

The build quality of our new home is excellent! We were also impressed with the responsiveness and support from our Field Manager, Kohl F. However, the landscaping by Pulte's preferred contractor was a major disappointment and we will need to redo it all. Do not use their contractor. You will regret it.

Workmanship suffers due to limited time subcontractors have to complete the job.

We are overall very pleased with our new home. We do have issues but they are being taken care of.

We moved in to our new home and it flooded with grey water the first day we were in because a fitting was lodged in the mail drain. That was September 5th. They had to saw out a 4'x4' section out of our slab. They did recapture exhaust from the saw and our house was FILLED with the dust of the concrete so bad that you couldn't see across the hall and all of the smoke alarms were going off. In fact all of the smoke alarms were full of the dust. They fought us regarding clean up every step of the way. And we still do not have our clothes, sheets or towels back. It has been 5 weeks. If it hadn't been for Service Masters we would still be in a hotel. THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. ... More

Quality workmanship and value!

We moved into our new home August 20th and immediately felt at home. Nice neighbors, good house and great location. Definitely a winning combination...

We live out of state and were unable to have on-site viewing as our home was being built. Our Field Supervisor was great about sending us pictures, and calling to talk with us about the progress of the construction. When we came for the final walk-through and signing, we were so happy to see we had a lovely, well-built home. We still are not moved in yet, but have had an opportunity to spend some time in our new home. Everything works as it should, and the few issues that we had were addressed right away and resolved satisfactorily. We have met neighbors, used the pool, gym, etc., and are eager to move into our new community (hopefully within the next few months). We are confident that we will love it! ... More

Our field manager sent progress photos each week

Everything as they said it would be. They send picture during the construction since we were in other state. Haven't met any unhappy neighbors with anything. If your unhappy with something in your home there right there to do there best to please you. More than HAPPY!

We have a great home.

We love our new home here in Sun City Festival. Peaceful and tranquil away from the city.

Everything was done and exceeded expectations. Work was done on a timely manner and the manager was very responsive to any questions that we had.

The purchase of our new home was hassle free, quick and easy. House is everything we wanted.

Houses are just thrown together. It seems the faster they put them up, the more they will sell. It's a nice area but the quality and workmanship leaves a lot to be desired.

If you fall in love with it the first time you see the right model home for you......BUY IT!

We have bought many houses but never a new one before. We expected a stressful experience but it was the opposite. Amazingly few and very minor issues on closing. Very prompt attention to issues. Quality and service beyond expectation.

Stay on top of the paper work

We have not yet moved into our new home, so I can't comment fully on quality, value, trustworthiness and responsiveness. Our project manager however has been very helpful and very easy to work with, and done an excellent job being responsive. However at least two plants were dead in the back yard a couple of days after being planted. The project manager said that there was no guarantee on the landscape plants.

From the tour of the models through the sales presentation and contract it was great. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. After we signed our contract our Project Manager kept us apprised of all phases of the build. After we closed he took care of all of our issues ASAP. Good job Del Webb team!

Initial Purchase When we first walked through the model homes, we were surprised at how great they all looked, and after a lot of discussion, landed on the Sanctuary floor plan. It will make the perfect retirement home for us. The Del Webb (Pulte) agent was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly and led us through the process, addressing all our questions. Design Center The design center appointment is extremely important, and though long, it was fun. There are so many options from which to choose, and our consultant helped us determine the best choices for our vision. Can't stress enough that before you go to the design center, have a vision and a plan for how you see your new home's style. Build Process We were out of state during the build so relied heavily on the weekly updates from our field manager (from Del Webb) and our realtor. Our field manager did everything he could to answer our questions, ensure the build went as smoothly as possible, and that the home met our expectations. And when it wasn't right, our field manager did what he could to get it fixed. This process was also helped by weekly photo updates from our Del Webb agent and our realtor. Final Inspection This took longer than we expected. Mostly because we expected better from the painters than what we received. It wasn't awful, just didn't meet our expectations. I'm sure they weren't happy to have to come back and see all the painter's tape on the walls of spots they needed to fix. We know and understand they are over-worked and rushed. I'd encourage them to slow down and do it better the first time. We were also disappointed that he house wasn't as clean as we should receive for a new build. The tile floors had stains and spots; all the window slider tracks were caked with dust and dirt; the HVAC filters were the same; even a couple grimy hand prints on the wall. Not the end of the world, but certainly below expectations. We had a tile and stone company come in and clean and seal the tile floors. We had expected that would be done as part of the purchase. Value Overall, we definitely received a great value with this home. It's fantastic and we are happy we bought it. The items that didn't meet our expectations are all inconveniences, not catastrophes. ... More
