Purchased "ready move in" house. Great experience from contract to move-in.

Pay attention to location of light switches and which lights they operate, some on not placed where you'd expect them. Circuit box is going to be located on the exterior of the house and only generally gives you an idea what each circuit covers, (switches, outlets, etc.). The kitchen water supply (to refrigerator, sink, dishwasher) is separated from the water supply to the rest of the house. If possible, visit construction frequently and ask questions.

Awesome painless process from picking out the structural upgrades to design center upgrades to easy closing. Weekly updates with photos from your sales agent and communication with your build superintendent. I would pick another Del Web community again without any hesitation.

The purchase of our new retirement home with Del Webb / Pulte in Sun City Festival has been a relatively low stress experience. This was consistent through all stages (sales, design center, title, mortgage, construction, final inspection, closing, and post move in). Usually the most stressful phase "construction" was also low stress due to our Field Manager "Michael" and his leadership. They explained the process and established a communication plan at the start. This formed an issues resolution team and process for responding to all issues in a timely fashion. Disappointed in dealing with the Pulte bureaucracy when trying to get minors changes made during the build process. Pulte was more concerned with the process of building your house than it was to making sure they provided great customer service. Had to pay a $250 service charge to change out a refrigerator that cost less than the refrigerator that Pulte had scheduled for the house. Painting is a very poor quality and still cleaning or touching up paint issues.

Get everything thing in writing. Make your list write down issues with a good Description.

We’ve built 5 homes in our lives. This was by far the best and quickest experience. They certainly have the whole process down pat. We are very happy with our home.

So far Pulte has responded to and repaired the small things we have found needed attention.

Our 2nd house built by Del Webb, we are pleased once again. Love the layout of the house, we downsized for our retirement years and the Hideaway fit our new lifestyle.

Nothing is perfect in life. This home is close. Our golf course lot is gorgeous. Helping us place our home on the lot was a crucial part of our build. The fact that we have had past experience with home construction helped us be more understanding when problems came up.
