Build and construction quality excellent. Any repairs were immediately addressed. Nick our construction manager was awesome and very responsive. He made sure everything was to our satisfaction!

We looked at multiple Active Adult communities and after much due diligence, pick Del Webb. Excellent choice. Exceeded our expectations. Quality built, wonderfully priced, exceptional follow-up and follow through. Couldn't be happier!!!

We purchased a “spec” home so had no input on the design. Couldn’t be happier. The Del Webb designer did an outstanding job with details that matched our dreams for our retirement home. The purchase experience was seamless, from the sales office personnel through the site manager presentation to the follow-up punch list, a truly professional team.

Purchasing a home in Arizona and Dove Mountain, in particular, was actually a spur of the moment decision. We fell in love with our home and the locale and have not regretted moving there as "snowbirds" and already considering being full time residents.

Our overall experience has been very good. From the purchase with Linda in the sales office to Nick as the project manager, they have answered all questions and followed through with items we requested. Absolutely no complaints. We are just now at our one month home inspection & touchups have been scheduled.

Happy with most everything except can't seem to get shutters on outside of home after many requests, and refrigerator won't produce ice cubes in ice maker.

As much as possible, follow the process closely. Write down any and all issues and share with your construction manager. Then follow up on the issues you shared to be sure they were resolved to your satisfaction. If you cannot be present during the building process, request frequent pictures of the progress so you can gauge what is happening.

Overall, we're happy with our new Del Webb home. There are a few fit and finish issues that are currently being resolved. Nothing major and the kind of thing one should expect.

Great quality and attention to detail. Our spec house had many upgrades, the most stunning of which is the kitchen. There have been minor issues to be corrected, which have taken more time and effort than we would have liked. But overall, it is a beautiful community, a beautiful home, and the home-buying process was easy.

Love the home we bought.

Pulte homes are fantastic. I added a new home inspections to cover my bases and only had two small things that need to be addressed, (That's really good, considering.) We've had a medium size repair list from the new home build that has not been addressed and we are still waiting for follow-up repairs. Communication, at this point, has been very poor to say the least. (I'm calling CAC this week). We've passed our 30 day limit and I am hoping that Pulte reaches out soon to, at least, acknowledge these projects are in the process of finishing. No call back, no notifications, no acknowledgements as if we don't exist and had just bought a new home. Otherwise, the rest of the experience with buying a new Pulte home has been great. From our sales person, Bly Trotter, who has been an amazing asset in our home buying experience to our mortgage agent, Brett Burges, who was amazing who clearly and concisely explained everything about Pulte Mortgage with such eloquence and professionalism. We even decided to go with Pulte Insurance which was a great idea and they helped us tremendously. Overall, I would choose Pulte again if we were going to buy another house and would recommend to anyone to do the same. With the exception of the follow up repairs and finishes, we are pleased. Great house with good workmanship

Compared to the Del Webb communities in Wickenburg and Rio Verde this is a steal.

The house, in general, appears well made; but the options were disappointing, diminishing the overall value, such as: 1) Tankless Water Heater provided with no recirc pump wasting 30,000-40000 gallons of water per year waiting to heat up for shower. Had to spend $2700 to replace it with efficient model. 2) Whirlpool Appliances are horrible, poor functioning, non intuitive - common complaint in community 3) No or one ugly selection of Brushed Nickle faucets or bath fixtures. Had to go with chrome. Large master bath has two 8" wide towel racks in main area and one 24" towel rack in toilet room. Could have easily fit a 24" next to sink and a towel ring next to shower. Have to sling towel over shower door. In Common bath there is on 8" towel rod - barely large enough to hang toilet paper 4) No Gutters - rain runs off flat roof over rear patio like your on the inside of a waterfall. We selected Del Webb Dove Mountain for two primary reasons. 1. Very livable floor plans and 2. A beautifully designed community - modern and inviting.

We really like the results of the house. Our project manager (Nick Swanson) is great. Build quality met our expectation. A couple areas that could be improved. The final signing and title process was very poorly handled. Also the design process was difficult and the tools available to visualize options were basically non existent, We had to go to other sites to see cabinets and countertops together. Last is that it seemed like there was no consistency between the cost of upgrades. Some seemed reasonable and some were outrageously expensive.

Property facility manager addressed the issues that were missed by the building crew.

Overall went very well. Excellent construction supervisor. Challenges include long lead time for input of design choices; limited appliance options; and limited interior paint options. Mortgage process went well but closing did not go well.

Our experience thus far was very good. Home completed on time and in good order. Site supervisor Nick was exceptionally responsive. Quality of home look really good. Time will tell. Will review again after a year has passed.

Let me start by saying we love our house and everything we upgraded it to be. But, #1 problem, the kitchen cabinets were too high, and no one wanted to admit they were not reachable. It took almost 4 months to get them lowered. We upgraded the baseboard to 5 1/4”. I requested it be installed on top of the tile, they said “no” so we have 4” baseboard instead. Another request was the tile replicating hardwood be installed with a 1/8” grout line instead of a 1/4” grout line, but no not possible. We feel after paying $100,000.00 in extras it becomes a semi-custom home, but it was not treated as such. I hope this helps people do their homework and not settle. ... More

Closed when we were originally told the house would be finished. The construction manager was great to work with. Any issues were corrected to our satisfaction.

So many drops of paint on tile and carpets, hasn’t anyone heard of drop cloths? Convection ovens are commonplace today, but not in our new house.

Very Good Quality at a fair price !

I want to start by saying that our overall building experience was good. On the plus side, the house design and features that we agreed to up front, were followed through to perfection. The project manager, Nick, was awesome and kept us informed during the build process and was responsive to our needs. However, we were disappointed with the condition of the home at final walk thru/closing. The whole process seemed rushed, which made for a lot of unresolved issues. For example, the paint that was done so neatly in the model home (e.g. nice clean, straight lines between the wall and trim), looked like it had been rushed in our home, and was not up to our standards. These were not the only items that made me a bit uncomfortable about the quality of the workmanship. The poor workmanship caught our attention, and as we looked further, more significant issues were identified. What did make me feel better about the whole process is that every neighbor that I talked to, people who had lived there for a while, had nothing but good things to say about the Pulte customer service. They explained that you have a year to get any outstanding issues taken care of, and that Pulte was very good about following through on these items. With this in mind, I have no doubts that we will end up with a home we are proud of, but just wish we could have gotten there in a more direct route. My feedback to Pulte would be that they need a mindset change. Our Project Manager was great, but it seemed like the deck was stacked against him-- with sub-contractors who were perhaps not as competent or not as accountable to the DelWebb standards. I would suggest to take the extra time, before the final walk-thru, and have team go through and inspect the home as if they were buying it. Taking care of these issues before the customer sees them would go a long way towards improving their overall customer satisfaction. ... More
