This is my 2nd Del Webb home. When my situation changed, I checked out Del Webb Dove Mountain and knew I could count on them to build me a quality home. The entire process was very positive. I would recommend Del Webb to new home buyers.

Overall quality is good for the price. There are some areas that could have been improved on. Painting could be straighter especially at the ceiling, some walls are not straight, baseboards need help, and miscellaneous.

This is a beautiful community with well designed and solidly built homes. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. We have a beautiful and highly functional recreation center with a well equipped workout center, a massive and gorgeous pool and other amenities.

Del Webb Dove Mountain is a beautiful subdivision located in the gorgeous Dove Mountain area just west of Tucson. Our Pulte/Del Webb home design and construction experience was excellent. We have a beautiful, well-built home in a community full of retired professionals from across the US. We could not be happier! I would have rated Del Webb with all fives but they need to work on paying attention to details. Our new home is well designed, well built and very good quality. However, there were minor punchlist items that could have been avoided if the subcontractors paid attention to detail. The front yard landscape contractor (Santa Rita Landscape) was especially poor and Del Webb should terminate their contact immediately. ... More

We had very good experiences with the people that sold us the home being the staff at Del Webb.They always responded to our questions and kept us informed as to what was going on.We felt like they were very honest and forthcoming about all issues and answers good or not so good.We appreciated that.I will reserve comment on Pulte Homes until I am asked.

Very good quality home but a lot of construction related problems which need to be resolved.

Buying a spec home leaves you very few options ... you have to like what they have picked and have everything installed meaning you will have to rip out to make changes. eg. We wanted to design our own closets and not have to do a demolish before install ... nope you have to take what they have designed. Otherwise we feel we got a quality build and a great house.

Overall very happy with home and neighborhood. However, disappointed with quality of finish work and attention to detail (i.e., paint, woodwork is not up to "new house" standards).

The Dove Mountain Del Webb is a very attractive community. The homes and landscaping are beautiful. The model of my home is exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is the actual buying process. Since I was moving across the country and had many details to handle, I felt I was pushed to move along and instead of working with me on a timeline for buying and moving, Del Webb was unyielding on their timeline of signing papers, materials selection, and finally my closing date. I was given a timeframe and what I was expecting did not happen. With the extraordinary current affairs of virus etc, I felt Del Webb was unwilling to be flexible on my time frame for moving. My closing date was well ahead of what was expected and I felt pressured to meet that date. Not a pleasant experience with such an important purchase. WE are generally happy with home, however it does take multiple requests to get small things fixed.

I love my new home in Del Webb at Dove Mountain. All the Del Webb and Pulte Homes employees are wonderful. My only issue is with the quality of craftsmanship. The paint job both inside and outside is not good. In the models, they do use two coats of paint but in my home, they only use one coat barely. Also, I assumed they would use a paint that would seal for the rooms that use water but they used the same matte paint throughout. I will have to have bathrooms repainted soon. The state I came from requires an eggshell paint in all bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms. I assumed it was the same in Arizona. I bought the model home. The whole issue around buying only the upgrades on the work order and what warranties actually are still existing could have been MUCH more clearly explained.

We have had minor issues after we moved in. Our construction manager said he would fix everything but has not. The workmanship on drywall was sloppy with gaps between trim and floor/ walls. They didn’t clean our house properly before move in. There was paint splattered on floors, windows were not clean, and tub had marks that aren’t removable.

At first we were very happy with everything but as time went by we were not that happy

Closed on Feb 8. Water leak Feb 9. Mold in master bathroom. It’s April 8 and repairs are still not complete. Trades do shoddy work. So much has to be repaired. 30 day repairs have not started yet. This is my second Pulte new build and I’ll never use them again. Trades do not show up as scheduled and if they do they have no idea what they are suppose to do.

Really like design layout of house, but there are/were problems. 1. HVAC air conditioning compressor motor/fan out of balance and needs to be replaced. 2. Forced air furnace installation was not complete. Once completed still does not work. 33 F degrees this morning - a little cold for this 84-year-old! 3. Forced air furnace vent rain cap not installed 4. Seal on bottom of MBR shower leaks 5. Exterior AC power outlet near garage service door has no power 6. Exterior light at single car garage not installed properly - has loose internal shade. 7. Glass windows in several rooms were scratched when installed. 8. System air filters used during construction were not replaced when house construction was finished, leaving four very dirty filters for homeowners to immediately deal with. 9. Next? ... More

Don't deal with Pulte Mortgage

While we love the layout of the home. The standard contractor flooring is extremely poor. We upgraded our cabinets and counter tops and we do not feel we received quality on either one.

Still waiting on my Fridge Paint is very poor garage trip work messy overspray on hardware Construction noise loud parking in front of my driveway clean up needed windows have stucco spray on them dusty dirty Loud music

Materials and Trade quality is not as good as past Pulte homes I've had built...Poor drywall finishing, cabinets left scratched and damaged, carpet pad installed with standard pads and not the upgraded option I purchased, windows and glass shower doors scratched, and microwave not installed properly and is not useable after 6 weeks in my new home... After close, a list of items needing repair was submitted with long lead times to get done...I've had 3 items (including microwave) where scheduled dates of repair never showed up to fix the problem...Sent messages to Field Mgr and still waiting for new dates...At this point I'm not sure I would ever recommend Pulte to others given my current experience with this new home...Very frustrated and disappointed... ... We bought the Sanctuary model in Dove Mountain and we had very limited choices in interior selections. If you are buying in Arizona, ask to use the Phoenix Design Center which apparently has more choices. The closets, laundry room and pantry are very basic. Many people in Dove Mountain had to do modifications after they moved in, Pulte uses material that maximizes profit such as compressed paper for door jambs, the paint choices are virtually non-existent.The community is great and friendly which is why we chose Dove Mountain. But for the price, we really expected better quality.

Advise them to the home closely inspected before closing.Walls are not square, cracked or chipped floor tiles,grout all over the mop boards, stucco comming off the exterior,

The home is sound structurally, but the finish work leaves a lot to be desired. For instance, we have been waiting over two months for the kitchen cabinets to be completed. It is simply unacceptable. Paint quality is terrible. The paint itself is low quality and in many areas of the house it looks like a three year old did the job. We are still waiting for the promised paint fixes, both interior and exterior, to be completed.

Lack of follow-up and poor attitude.
