Quality of concrete work is the worst I Have seen. Sloppy, Hasty, Unprofessional, Cheep Quality work. Paint, sheetrock, caulk and finish carpentry sloppy and unprofessional, especially at the bottom of walls

Difficult to work with. An assembly line. You’re just a number. Much more interested in meeting their financial commitments to Wall Street on home’s closed than meeting customer’s needs.

Poor quality of workmanship

The very poor quality of work particularly the painting interiorly and exteriorly. Painted over dirt on windowsills. Semigloss will have to be done by a professional painter done at our expense. Would not allow the original painters back on this property. Dripped paint on upgraded tile floors, cabinetry, light fixtures, etc. throughout house. Not qualified painters and should not be part of your providers. The numerous mistakes regarding upgrade installations from door levers to front door lock. Very poorly built! We have had a lot of issues and are still waiting for a handful of items to be repaired! The response time from the team is unexpectedly slow! It has been very disappointing!

Sloppy and rushed

What a poor experience buying this new home. The home was stock inventory, so it was finished when I saw it. The builder ignored it for the 40 day escrow, didn't perform any repairs/fixes from the walk through until the closing day, didn't finish the repairs and is not responding to many outstanding issues. The home was never properly cleaned, the windows are dirty. Overall, the experience from Del Webb is poor and low quality.

Worst buying experience of my life! Started with the rude salespeople and continues with the slow responses to repair requests. I was completely mislead. If I had to buy again, I’d probably buy somewhere else. Only redeeming factor was the foremen on my job …he’s been informative and helpful but nothing can help the shoddy construction and lies coming from the front office. Shameful just shameful. And I’d like to blame them personally but being in business for over 30 years has taught be…it starts at the top. Which is why I’d never recommend to anyone to purchase a Pulte home.

Bought at the height of the market when sales process & lender took buyers for granted. By the time the house was estimated to be done, market had crashed, but the home had still had 2 months + to go before completion. (Wish they'd taken their time to do it right, though!) Kept getting dates shifted for closing, and I was then pressured to close before house was done and all systems connected, let alone finishes done. Pulte declared my home done and ready to close. Moved into no heat or hot water after a 20 hour move on a cold winter night. Kitchen island was wrong color as if I wouldn’t notice. Many other problems. The HOA treats me like an enemy. Nasty and condescending. The guards at the gate are horrible to me and my friends. I have buyers remorse. Overall a very bad experience. So far the dream home is a nightmare.

Lack of empathy for buyer during multiple delays of home being ready for move in. Do not get appliances through Pulte.You will pay double the price you can pay for identical item at Home Depot. Pulte use low quality quartz, low grade windows, etc.. Design Center is 2 hours away from New home community - thus very inconvenient.

Excruciatingly Stressful

My wife and i have done 13+ real estate transactions to date. This includes two prior home purchases from Pulte in Nevada. This was BY FAR the most excruciatingly stressful, and anxiety ridden home purchase we have ever endured. The closing date was delayed two months which involved two interim moves at a cost of thousands of dollars to us. The delay was due to the complete incompetence of Pulte's forecasting/scheduling and procurement departments. Continually Stressed by Sales

We tried to buy at Pulte DWRM in phase 2 a couple years back, started the contract process on our lot only to be told we had to be married to purchase. Later we were told this was not true. I fell that we were discriminated because of being a bi-racial gay couple. We finally purchased in phase 6 this year after several friends of ours moved in. My partner is a person of color and was never treated very kindly.

Incredibly Disappointed - Never Bought a New Home constructed with Less Care

Very little if any quality control - no follow up of contractors or subs. Walls way off, windows bowed to the max, expensive floors destroyed by not being covered up and many trades trapzing in with little care. Walls sprayed that look like milk was applied rather than paint. No semi in baths or kitchen. Garage not painted. Locks that don't open. Walk in showers with rain head above and so crooked it was dumb. Kitchen island a complete mess. Home not cleaned well at all upon turning over of keys. Second garage door inoperable. The design center was a horrible experience although everyone was friendly. I’m a design with my own business for 25 years. I found out after the house was being constructed that I had t seen many options fir such things as doors, cabinet doors etc. I also found the pricing way out of line with the industry .

The dishonesty of the sales team

The sales team will tell any lie to make the sale. They refuse to put anything into writing. I paid extra to have them put the refrigerator in at closing. At closing they said it will be delayed a week or two. Now they are saying 3 months this for a refrigerator that is locally available and can be delivered in 3 days but they refuse to refund the money. Windows are so cheap that every windy day sand blows in through windows.

The Builder needs to improve it's Processes and Change it's Quota Deadline mentality

If I'm being honest, I found the builder rushed the whole process and was far too intransigently rigid, from the time I won the bid to the time the home was eventually completed (behind schedule). And no one ever bothered to provide me with details of the process, incl. Design Center expectations, or HOA requirements (such as finishing the backyard within 6 months). The builder prematurely set a "finish date" (before end of November), but they still didn't have the home ready on the date they set. This purchase was quite a nightmare. There was many delays, poor craftsmanship and materials not to our standard for the cost of them. As a disabled veteran on a budget it was hard to see the upgrades they charged excessively for although were needed for my safety. We were to far in to look elsewhere. If we could have we probably would have went a different direction. We love the area.

Dishonest on rates for a home loan
