Overall experience was very positive. Our Construction Manager, Lester, was very responsive and proactive. Our only significant problem was the workmanship on the front stone veneer. It was poorly installed with a wavy result in the stone. Lester championed our concern and had it removed and replaced with a superior result. Two months and so far so good!

The home is beautiful and the community is certainly going to be gorgeous when it is completed. A few minor issues with the builder. Lighting and ceiling fans are not included and cannot be ordered. After closing one has to purchase and contract to install them. It seems to me that the builder should offer this at an extra charge (every other addition is extra). Without ceiling lighting (chandeliers, pendents, fans, etc) it seems that the house is incomplete even after closing. In addition, there is no kitchen stove exhaust. As a result, stove top cooking often results in the smoke alarm going off. It seems to be a basic item that a builder should include. ... More

We have had great relationship with our builder.Any problems we have had they have been addressed in a proper time. I would recommend them over other builders.

Do your homework prior to purchasing

The sales personnel are excellent not only with knowledge of the building process, but were very accommodating with their variations of home details referencing materials not available any longer, etc. Your project manager Justin was extremely helpful through the entire building process.

Supervisor who built home Excelent. Sales person great & knowledgeable . Disappointed couldn’t make changes after signing or pay for other options. Too much like track homes. Most retirees would like to have some special features & options for their last home.

The home buying process was very good. The materials and designs are great but the workmanship building the home is lacking. Contractors are lacking attention to detail and are careless in their finished product. Examples are chipped tile, poor drywall plaster. Overall we are happy with the home but we made a lot of corrections ourselves.

If you’ve never experienced buying brand new construction, it’s a long and detailed process. You must stay on top of all the paperwork and requests. Having said that, the Pulte folks on site were terrific. In the beginning, we considered a mortgage through Pulte. That was a nightmare. Too many lengthy requests at the last minute, lost emails, maybe not the best advice or suggestions. We finally just threw in the towel and just paid cash for the house. Our Sales person was absolutely wonderful. She keep us updated on the entire process of the the home being built. Every 2 weeks we received a status update on the home from ground breaking to the week before closing. As always, there were a few issues upon closing but the crew was very professional and great to work with in getting the issues resolved. Overall, we are very happy with the build of the home.

You'll certainly have bumps in the road as they seem to be unavoidable but the Del Webb team is certainly committed to doing their best to make things right. From purchase agreement to closing was just about 1 years time but now that we're in the home we're very happy!

The entire process went very well, except for your mortgage department. I have bought 5 houses over the years and several refinancing transactions and this was my worst experience ever.

Progress was very slow, the homes near mine are being finished much faster than ours.

There doesn't seem to be a response to items that weren't noticed at walk-thru.

We built in Tidewater, Estero, Florida. Great experience with the Pulte staff. The product is excellent.

if you deal with the right people from the company, all goes well. Check with residents and friends also who may be familiar.

I don’t think it’s as much Del Webb’s or Pulte’s issue that I didn’t give 5 stars for all. It’s more an issue with the subs and the quality of their work. Webb needs to hold them more accountable in my humble opinion!

Overall I had a good experience with Pulte.

Our sales person Melissa was very professional and knowledgeable. Our second construction manager Daniel corrected incomplete work issues. So far our customer care rep. John has answered any of our concerns, we are only in our home one month.

This being our first experience building and owning in a 55+ community my wife and I are rookies for sure. I have worked in the construction industry for my whole life so I speak with experience in the trade. The buying phase of the process went well and without a hitch. Lisa our sales rep was fantastic and guided us through the initial lot and home purchase and was super helpful. 3 months later construction started and we were introduced to John our construction manager who equally was superior throughout the building phase keeping us informed and up to date on any and all issues. Being from Pennsylvania the communications and updates from John were appreciated. Structural and mechanical phases went well and were sound as well as the masonry work. We are currently working through finish carpentry and painting issues which are of concern namely too much debris on drywall not cleaned up before finished paint, moulding install and finished caulking sub standard. Too many dents and dings and scratches on doors windows and hardware. The problem is a lack of pride of workmanship and accountability for whatever the reason. On the flip side we are having the issues addressed through the warranty team and hope to have them alleviated soon. One public issue of concern is the slow approach to the amenity complex completion date. We as residents are paying nearly full HOA dues and feel deserving of a timely completion of the campus. We are pleased with our experience with the staff at Del Webb Oak Creek. This is our second experience with buying and building a home via Del Webb and its builder, Pulte Construction. The process to buy a lot, customize the home and build is challenging enough but the sales person was great at communicating from beginning to closing.
