I don’t know where to start. From beginning to end even a novice could see multiple issues. No consistency in stud spacing, walls are not secure and can be visibly seen shaking when doors are shut, uneven walls, paint appears to be cut with water, concrete floor covered in scraps and dirt and floor placed over t and walls painted with dirt on them, issues raised with manager and very little correction generally too late, have pics of dirty shoe prints on countertops, even small options like moving an electric socket denied as not one of our options, items on pre close punch list still not ...

We moved in June 1st. As of today, we do not have a working doorbell, no toilet paper or towel bar holders in either bathrooms, floor tile and shower tile grout is sloppy (the former foreman has green tape on them), and the list goes on and on. It took 2 months to get running hot water and 6 weeks to figure out the pipe to the dishwasher was blocked. Paint was not cleaned up and most of the floors have paint splotches. Baseboard in the gathering room is cracked and there is a huge mark in the gathering room on our very expensive tile. And - this “new” house was never cleaned. We never ...

The moment we opened the door for the first time there were so many issues. First of all the house was so dirty, workmanship was poor, finishes were not complete, etc.. Even after doing a walk thru, the follow-up has been no follow-up. Texts and phone calls are not returned.

We were very excited to go through the process. We started with the purchase of the lot and like all sales agents I imagine ours threw the “you better hurry; someone else is looking at the lot” warning to purchase now. Whatever. The build was slow but expected to go from Nov to Jun 1; we closed on Jun 30 so had to extend our apartment lease Jun and then Jul ($$$). We knew we’d have quality issues when we walked through and saw the plumbing in the laundry room was turned backwards. Fast forward to final walkthrough and the result is a punch list 19+ lines long and supposed to be addressed ...

Generally favorable compared to two prior home constructions in the past 10 years. Quiality of construction good but not excellent, as aome walls and corners were not "true". Our foreman has been reliable though subs often very slow in responding to needs for completing the work, especially the painters. The best part was the initial choices of furnishings and upgrades through the design center. This made the process very efdicient and easy.

The model options are well designed for an outcome that is a comfortable home with quality materials. Pulte is a large builder so there is always a degree of inflexibility with that but the individuals I worked with for the Build and Sale made it awesome - both the Project Manager and the Sales Manager. I've only had to create two work orders for cosmetic things and the response was timely and fixed the issue. Our Field Manager Ben was very inflexible and not accommodating to any requests. A light was not centered off the windows in the dining room by 6” and that is where anyone would want a chandelier to go. He said, “it’s according to the plans and we can’t deviate from the plans.” I had to pay to have the light moved so it would be centered over the table. Even though all the windows are off on measurements when trying to order blinds by 1”-2” from top to bottom.

The gentleman, James, in charge and over looking the building of our home was professionally responsive during the building process. The time frame was as expected, with the real only delay was the windows. We have been in our home almost a month, a few issues have been recognized by us, missing white strip for one of our front windows, bent window frame, no hot water for our tub, one stained paver in the driveway, and painting of the bottom edge, alongside the two sliders. I never built a home before, the thought of it was too daunting but DelWebb made the process easy and the end result is great! Everyone was easy to work with and EXTREMELY responsive to our inquiries and requests. I think the price of the home was inflated but the whole real estate market is same. The final price with the upgrades we chose was a bit more than we expected but we knowingly made upgrade choices based on what we like and the final product is a very good looking home.

This was the worst experience I have ever had building a home. Huge company building for Del Webb where everything is sub contracted out. No pride in workmanship. Things are slapped together and beat up. Constantly pointing out how bad things were. Look through a home that’s built vs. a model home. You definitely don’t get what you pay for.

Three weeks ago it was reported by the construction manager that my gutter downspout diverter was not installed. He sent a message to have this issue address. As of this day it has not been resolved. The soil is being washed out from underneath my lanai and from underneath the sod. The sod looks fine until it is stepped on. I further reported that it is now unsafe. Someone can break an ankle or a leg and the potential for structural damage is not far off. I received a don’t worry the column is sunken. I want my new home repaired. NOW!! If Pulte wants a better review then take care of this.

Home buying from the Salesman was outstanding. His follow up also outstanding. I wish i would looked at the electrical plan for my model. Pulte could have done a better job adding additional switches for lights . Example a second switch for outside garage lights

This was my first home vs an apartment. The process was quite amazing. The outcome is beautiful. Minor cosmetic issues at the end, but I was very fortunate to have Jeff (sales) and James (builder) to work with. They both treated me and my home as if it was there during the build process. I feel like I’m in a dream, haven’t woken up and hope I never do!

- over 3 months delay to close after estimated date pushed back numerous times - despite delay still closed with many unfinished items (approx 20 item punch list) - 2 months after closing only one item completed, still must keep after builder - promises do not equal performance - materials and workmanship far below expectation, as if it were a rush job rather than more than a year long process - per sq ft price does not match the quality and upgrades are overpriced

There seems to be no commitment to "make things right" after the sale. Absolutely no follow-through on promises made and notes taken for construction faults to be corrected before closing. Six weeks later there seems to be no Pulte/Del Webb commitment to deliver on their promises of a finished product we would all be proud to own.
