Other builders should know that Iif they fine-tune their empathy and understanding and kindness for the buyers in the building process, they will be head and shoulders ahead of Pulte Builders

The coordination and communication between my sales representative, field manager for my house and myself was excellent. There were check points throughout in addition to answering any questions in between. Knowing the steps of what happens when was great too.

Our experience with the field manager was excellent. We were always kept updated on our progress and the responsiveness has been outstanding. The only issue with the builder is that they should the house required too many upgrades to make it acceptable. Maybe you should increase the base price and include the most popular upgrades. By now you should have gathered enough stats on the subject to adjust the packaging..

I have never lived in a house with such quality construction - not even sure I have ever been in one this nice. Everything little thing was thought out in advance - mitered joints are perfect, trim is perfect; all the doors and cabinets are hung perfectly; tiles are perfectly installed; the big glass door on the shower are perfect; the sprinkler system is absolutely incredible, pavers are perfectly installed; I couldnt believe the garage was sheet rock, textured, painted and trim at the base! Overall design and structure of the house is excellent quality, and neighborhood is well thought out. Project managers are very helpful and courteous, but were very overloaded at the time of closing with number of houses assigned. After we closed on the house and moved in, found electrical wiring wrong to the wine cooler and destroyed the cooler and was not protected. We did get a new replacement. Could not get our new gas dryer to work, and after 3 weeks of going back and forth on where the problem was, the Samsung technician we called out identify we did not have a gas supply. Found the supply valve had a plastic protection insert that was not removed and blocked flow. The general contractor that installed the valve incorrectly was not on our list of people to call to resolve our problem. When we moved into the house, the cleanliness was below expectation for a high quality house, and there was excessive grout and dirt still embedded in our new floor tile. Several areas on the wall were damaged or not fully painted. We were missing towel racks that were not evident at time of walk through. ... More

Attention to detail and ongoing updates of construction progress

Overall I am satisfied with the condo. The most disappointing aspect of the purchase was that I paid a lot premium to have a view of a pond. Unortunately, they planted a mature magnolia tree directly in front of the dining room window which obstructs my view of the pond.

Our construction manager is what saved Pulte’s reputation with us. I still have one wall I want redone. No one knows why it was done this way!!!

The sales Associates were professional, reliable, and dependable throughout my entire interaction with them.

Be prepared to upgrade everything! The basic home is really just that - basic, bottom of the line.

Oversight of construction is minimal. Poor quality. Production homes that are constructed too quickly. High price for low quality materials.

Pulte built us a great home. No build quality issues. The home was built exactly to specs. Everything met our expectations. A great home buying/build experience!

There are issues with my home that are not being taken care of. I closed with a list of things that needed done. I have been living here and my sliding door does not lock, the range vent is crooked (now I am being told to call a contractor on my own) .

It is my opinion that the Field Supervisors are overwhelmed with the number of homes that they manage. There were weeks when we couldn't reach our field supervisor, now we know why. The quality of the construction is mediocre at best. The wrong moulding was installed, we still don't have our rear flood lights, the exterior trim is a joke, doors dinged up during construction (and not repaired) The interior paint is the wrong color. The grass in the back yard is so bad that it is dangerous to cut. I could go on but what good what it do? I was told by a field supervisor that If I complained too much, Pulte would cancel my contract and refund my down payment. So naturally, I waited until now to clear the air about our experience. Disappointed in lack of attention to detail in overall construction.

Our realtor did nothing to help us negotiate with the builder. Our building supervisor was horrible. We had to get management involved. Once management was involved the move went much smoother. The painting and finish work are not very good. We are having our house repainted.

I was disappointed that it seems that after the trades have completed the task that their supervisors are not checking quality and functionality. Things like doors that do not close property (screen door), doors that did not lock, (like the screen and sliders), the a/c did not blow cold air, and initially when writing Warrantee Jax about it I received no response. If it was not for Ben from Pulti stepping in I am unsure it would have been completed.

The quality of work by the finishing trades left much to be desired. They were careless damaging walls, sheet rocking over electrical boxes and water feeds. Insulation was missing and had to be redone. People didn’t show up when they were supposed to. Tile work in both bathrooms had to be ripped out and replaced delaying closing. Not at all what we expected. Our closing was delayed 2 months costing us thousands of dollars in rent and storage fees. We have built other homes and did not have the stressful experience we had here.

My field manager resigned a few days before my closing . Major issues like installing my sliding glass door was left till right before my closing. I left to go to my closing with many unresolved issues. My sod was dried up . My outside shutters still are not on and my shower glass was installed after the closing . My dishwasher was installed 2 week after the closing My shelf in the closet collapsed the day I moved in and the bracket hit the drywall and left a hole in it .The new assigned field manager took care of the closet disaster and hooked up my dryer so I could use it He did the best he could under the circumstances . I still have not received my trim package on my microwave and my front yard has a sick looking magnolia tree . I am discouraged and disappointed one month after moving in to my Pulte home ... More

The condo is overall great. My one gripe is that the floors were dirty at the time of closing and hid construction debris stuck to the grout and tile floors which I could not get out afterwards. Their warranty department is responding but only after aggressive follow up (staying on them). It is unfair of the builders to expect the buyer to find every imperfection in the house during a couple of walk throughs. You need at least 2 weeks after moving in. After closing, the attitude of the builder has been "well, you signed the closing papers, now it's your problem". Judging by the degree of "customer service" we have received from the warranty department, it seems that they don't plan on doing anything, they are just waiting for us to give up on the repairs. Customer service has an excellent way of dodging phone calls and being "not available" when you call. Emails will be returned, but when? ... More

They need to talk to buyers before they build to hear what they are looking for in a carriage home. More on-site viewing of models is needed. When I bought I had no model to look at. There was only a larger upstairs unit to see. Of course, it was bigger and you really do not get a 'true" picture of what your unit will be like. The garage is much too small, the flex room is also too small. More natural light is needed in the ground floor units,
