Del Webb - This was the worst experience I have ever had building a home.

This was the worst experience I have ever had building a home. Huge company building for Del Webb where everything is sub contracted out. No pride in workmanship. Things are slapped together and beat up. Constantly pointing out how bad things were. Look through a home that’s built vs. a model home. You definitely don’t get what you pay for.

Dont expect much from Pulte. donot get upgrades, because they will not honor them in a timely manner, even if ordered 10 months out. It has nothing to do with supply delays. No communications unless you become a pitbull. It is extremely exhausting to deal with. I have had nothing but issues prior to close, during close and after close. A month after closing, still working on issues.

They rushed craftsmanship to get us closed at the end of the month with many building issue unresolved.

1. We purchased the option to upgrade to Kitchen Aid appliances in our gourmet kitchen. Issue our Kitchen Aid the DW and Cook top are in the warranty garage since Feb 15 according to our construction manager Jack Mead. 2. We bid and paid $110K for our lot. The pool company installed our back fence 5ft inside property line, left side one foot inside property line. Landscaping and sprinkler system installed prior to fence install

More interested in stock price today instead of customer satisfaction for the future of the name brand. sloppiness...lack of attention...Of all the Pulte people I've met only one (that had nothing to do with my home) referred to me as "the customer"

Run, don't walk. They will leave you with an unfinished house. They must be a company going down the tubes since they're ONLY interested in selling as many houses as quick as they can. They are NOT in any way the old Del Webb. They will ruin your retirement experience>

Terrible workmanship and delay in closing

There is a list of 40 damaged or improperly finished items in our house. With our last house house build, there were not issues with EVERY single surface: poorly painted walls; stained carpet; scuffed baseboards; horribly finished drop-zone; filthy and stained pool; damaged drainpipes; marks in bathtubs; chipped tile; damaged cabinets; missing shelves; roof issues; garage floor unable to park on for 2 months; garage doors missing insulation; no refrigerator; dryer that doesn't heat; pocket door and slider damaged; windows that don't lock; damaged pavers; hole in screen door; exterior and ...
