My husband and I purchased a new home in the Del Webb Tradition community of Port St Lucie without ever coming to Florida. We based our decision to do so on the reputation of the PulteGroup as a home builder and the Del Webb brand. We did everything online with a great team of friendly, helpful, and professional people from start to finish. We love living here and for anyone considering Del Webb Tradition as their next home we would highly recommend it.

My new home buying experience with Pulte was a positive experience. They met my expectations. From the sales representative to the project manager all staff were pleasant and most helpful in helping me navigate the process.

Great home and really nice neighbors and community amenities. Very happy we moved here.But based on my firsthand experience DO NOT USE PULTE MORTGAGE! The employees are mostly INCOMPETENT and from my experience have very little knowledge of the correct mortgage product to put you into. They knew upfront that I was self employed and regardless Pulte Mortgage switched me into 3 different mortgage products over a 5 MONTH PERIOD…… ALL DUE TO INCOMPETENCE! After many months of ENDLESS and sometimes REDUNDANT paperwork requests one of their so called ‘specialists’ actually called my wife and myself the day before the closing and asked for my father’s death certificate……..only one problem…..my father is not dead! If I hadn’t complained and gotten a knowledgeable supervisor to finally approve my loan this moronic mortgage marathon may have continued even longer! What HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, not to mention the unnecessary STRESS! Pulte Mortgage notified me soon after my first loan payment that my loan had been sold several weeks after closing which furthered my belief that Pulte doesn’t care about customer service, and they probably hire inexperienced employees to save money knowing they’re just going to make a few quick bucks off their customers before they sell the loan. Several other new homeowners stated they went through some similar financing ordeals and had their loans quickly sold as well. I guess Pulte is a Bundle and Sell company?……..or for abbreviation purposes a BS Company. They recommend that you use them in the contract, but from my experience it would’ve been much faster and a lot less stressful had I used an independent lender. Overall, a good experience start to finish

Our experience was excellent from the sales process with Lisa as well as choosing the extras and the entire building process. After we closed both William and Lisa were helpful in addressing the various odds and ends you discover once you occupy the house. We have built and renovated a number of homes and we feel the value and experience we had at Del Webb was excellent. The value for the money is well worth it. It’s very important to note that William and Lisa were there to help AFTER we closed and they always followed through. That’s critical. However, we did find the HOA were lacking in their response to our multiple inquiries on a single item. They do not, in our opinion, live up to Del Webb standards on customer service. ... More

My wife and I traveled to both sides of Florida over 3 weeks and saw 20-25 different communities. Del Webb simply blew everyone away!!

If I had to do this again I would buy from Delwebb. Was much easer to deal with then anyone else.

Very pleased with the process from start to finish. Reps from Del Webb were helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

The construction supervisor, William, was GREAT. I give him a 10 out of 10. He worked with us and kept us updated throughout the construction process. The follow up person, Robert, that is supposed to pickup any issues still open after closing on the property has not responded or followed up on anything. He gets a 0. The sales agent, Carin, was very good. She gets a 10. We have a problem with trying to change our mailbox. It is located at the top of the row and my wife is too short to see inside the box and hard to retrieve the mail. The Closing Coordinator with Pulte Group, Rita, keeps insisting that we will have to receive a handicap box which requires a letter from my wife's doctor. To be clear, we DO NOT want or need a handicap box and have NEVER asked for one. She also says that all of the boxes have been assigned to all addresses in the community and can't be changed. She further said that the Post Master is in charge of this. But my wife spoke in person to Patrick, the Post Master, and he told her that Del Webb Pulte has all the keys and that Pulte was in charge of assignments. I am sure that Rita still has at least 100+ homes that have not been completed or even started and therefore those mailboxes have not been given to homeowners yet. Rita further suggested that my wife bring a step stool and a grabber to retrieve our mail. So, for the next 25+ years, she will, rain or shine carry a stool, a grabber, and many times an umbrella to the mailbox and then carry all of these items plus our mail and packages or boxes back to the car. What an absurd idea. Rita gets a MINUS 10. The grass from our property line to the lake was never put in. There are completed homes on our side. The ends and across the lake had grass installed several weeks ago. Our whole section has weeds growing higher every week and the dirt to the lake is eroding away. Another 0 for the HOA. ... More

Can’t go out to my backyard or send my dog out there since it is mud. No one seems to want to help.

Biggest thing for me was communication and that’s something they did very well, from the sales person to the construction manager we were kept informed throughout the process and were invited to see different stages of the building process of our new home. Very satisfied with our home

The buying process was very easy and the sale staff was excellent. However, now that I have moved in, and paid in full my new home, I have experienced a large number of construction flaws and the response to get the issues fixed is unacceptable. I have no return on my phone calls nor text messages, I feel very neglected by a builder whose contractors did not complete quality workmanship and the final inspection should have corrected the problems. I am not a happy customer as I am left hanging waiting for someone to not only acknowledged the problems but will send reputable workers to fix the issues in a timely manner and communicate with me on an ETA. Having the shelving of the master closet collapse and tearing the drywall to mention the latest is very dangerous, I am afraid that the shelving system in the entire house is weak and could become a danger, Having exposed wiring was also dangerous. Sending an electrician who does not follow the work order and does not complete the task is neither professional nor acceptable. At this point, I am very disillusioned with my purchase and will think twice about recommending Del Webb and Pulte ... More

I highly recommend this builder. From the start someone from Pulte was always in contact keeping me updated on the construction which made me feel confident on my choice. The quality of my home exceeded my expectations and it was finished before the due date. I picked Pulte after looking a few other builders because of their workmanship, price, and the Pulte Team who works to made the process really smooth.

Pulte advertises WHITE GLOVE homes. The amount of paint smudges should have been either found by the field rep, cleaning crew or the CSR. You would think that the amount of workers walking all around would have been a bit more observant.

Everything was looking like 5 stars at the beginning but went a little downhill after that. Once you move in, you get a lot of immediate attention for the first week, and then, not so much. Also, you start to see the sloppiness in the workmanship, from doors that aren't hung correctly, plumbing that was not fully tested, down to appliances, fixtures, tubs, counter tops, tile, etc that are scuffed up, chipped, dented from carelessness. All things you won't catch on those quick walk throughs leading up to closing. I realize there will be issues as a new house settles, but these are just a few types of problems that could have been avoided by treating the place like a new home, versus a barn.
