5 stars up to getting problems taken care promptly. We have a few issues and it’s being addressed but very slowly and a lot of passing the buck as they say. Overall extremely happy with the house and price just wish after the sale problems were addressed quicker

The construction process from start to finish was over a year. While that was to be expected, there were 3 different building supervisors during that time. My only comment would be that the scheduling was not the best.

Sales staff was very knowledgeable,accommodating,friendly and helped us every step of they from start to finish always extremely helpful and addressed every concern or issue that came up . Other than a few delays in our home building process we had a wonderful life hanging experience building our home .

Despite not using a realtor we found that buying the house was fairly straightforward. We weren't crazy about the bidding process but it worked out for us. Overall the builders team did a good job and did come through with what was expected despite labor and material shortages. The process was longer than expected and closing was delayed twice. A common experience with all of our new neighbors. The home itself is top quality. There are a number of minor superficial issues with tile, cabinets, drywall, and driveway pavers still being fixed by the customer care team but they are getting corrected. The home was delivered six months after the projected closing date. The ceiling in the gathering room had to be resurfaced and repainted and doesn’t match the original making a house look like it’s not new. Interior workmanship is inferior when it comes to caulking, baseboard millwork, painting, uneven flooring, door mounting, some windows are cosmetically damaged and the frames need repainting. The French doors and entryway doors are not hung properly. All interior windows are missing their interior panels to hide screws. The house was far from being cleaned when we moved in. We had to clean almost everything, countertops, floors, and walls, they were paint splatters over the entire house. Since we were able to visit the job site every day contractors were not held responsible for keeping the jobsite clean as Pulte advertised and placed signs. Food, empty beverage bottles, and general garbage was left on our lot frequently. Quite honestly we were not excited about moving into our new home because of the number of issues that needed to be addressed. I have heard that our issues were pretty common with all the builders in the Port St. Lucie area. This is unfortunate. Our warranty person met us the first day we moved in and has been responding to our concerns. Presently I’m feeling that our issues will be addressed. I feel it’s unfortunate because many of these issues could’ve been addressed during the construction process and could’ve taken a lot less man hours to rectify than doing it after the fact. ... More

Our home was completed in time as promised. Minor problems have been identified with schedules provided for repair/replacement. We are very happy with the response from Pulte and look forward to a long satisfied relationship.

Caryn was great. There were many issues in the building process that were kicked down the road. many problems were pointed out that would be easy to fix and there was plenty of time to fix them in the building process. At one point the house did not have any work done on it for 3 months. A lot of the concerns were not addressed in that time that could have been done. Alot lot of sloppy work was done with no accountability. This work was pushed of on Mike to do. Mike has been very good at fixing these concerns, thank you Mike! We have had 2 other houses built and the building manager would check the house after each trade was done and have them fix any concerns before they left. From our purchase with Brendan , build with Kelly, and final fixes with Mike our total experience was quite good. The whole process took much longer than expected but then the supply chain crisis and lack of skilled workers was really the issue. We are pretty well settled in our home after 5 weeks and are very happy with our decision to buy DelWebb!

If you have the opportunity to work with Caryn in Port Saint lucie, you will be treated like family. Caryn was very caring throughout the process and was always available for me when I needed further explanation of the way things will happen. Its my first time building a new home and living in a gated community, sCaryn was able help me through the processes with a smile on her face always.

The subcontractors used to do the floors, windows, painting, grouting, cabinetry and final cleaning were all substandard. They had no attention to detail and were clearly rushed. There are a lot of quality issues that we now have to spend our time on to get repaired and nothing is fixed completely the first time. We are so disgusted with the lack of quality that we would never have bought this place if we knew how the house would’ve turned out. We are getting a lot of excuses from our warranty person who has told us he has 300 houses he is responsible for. We paid close to $400k for this house and it definitely wasn’t worth it. Be forewarned if you are buying that you will need to document and follow up on all of the issues. One example is that our frameless shower door is leaking so badly from under the door that it soaks an entire towel every time we shower. We were first told it was because there wasn’t a plastic threshold placed under the door so one was put on but it was put on too high and water is still leaking underneath. Now we have to have the entire door removed and tiles replaced to pitch the tiles differently so the water doesn’t leak out. This is not happening until mid August, which is almost 8 weeks after closing. The window trim and baseboards were not painted properly so there were scrapes and dings and multiple places where the paint on the baseboards was totally missed. The painters left countless drops of paint on the pavers in both the front and back of the house. If we hadn’t requested help to fix nothing would’ve been done. And when they sent someone to try and clean up the paint they did a terrible job. We were led to believe that Delwebb builds quality homes and we would totally disagree. They have serious problems with their build and finishing process that need to be addressed but I doubt they will. Also The cleaners did a horrible job cleaning the windows and floors. And they do not clean baseboards because it’s not in their contract. We also have electrical issues with circuit breakers popping all the time. Our experience and the journey to our new home was excellent!!!! Caryn in sales was wonderful……very professional, friendly, and empathetic with the construction environment we all faced. Kelly in construction kept us informed and was very accommodating with any requests we had. Our only issues were after closing with the HOA who could have been more welcoming.

Overall quality of subcontractors work was below average, specifically painting and electrical

Still trying to get repairs to workmanship that should have been repaired before closing.

It is best to be on or near the construction site during the building of your house. Even with all the technology available today, face to face has a better impact.

Home generally built with good quality however there are certain items that are just not 100% and need fixing. Almost feels like a rushed job.

I am very disappointed in this experience. No one from Pulte has been honest nor lived up to their word other than Brendan the sales manager who at least tries. I have been lied to my face numerous occasions by Pulte representatives and that is unacceptable on all levels. Once you close on your home, it takes an act of God to remedy issues you were promised would be fixed or the “fix” is a bandaid and not remedied professionally, as corners are cut. In other words, the “fix” is not a fix at all and attempting to have it done properly becomes a full time job for the homeowner. It is obvious that Pulte makes economical decisions on their on own behalf and has little or no concern for the homeowner. The quality of workmanship is subpar at best. Very difficult to understand why the work isn’t done right the first time! I would highly recommend that you do not close until every last item has been addressed and remedied prior to closing because it now becomes your problem and it is a nightmare!!! The windows are foreign mfg and should fall under structural warranty due to that fact and fact that there operation is questionable from time of installation

Challenges with completion date led to much more cost in temporary housing. The home and community will be a wonderful place to live in the future.

Quality of finished product very good. Issues after moving in taken care of quickly.

When the purchase agreement says two years to complete your home, Pulte means it. That clause isn't there in case of a hurricane disrupting there production,

I ordered Pendant lighting to be placed over my Island during upgrade selection. This was added to the cost of this house. During my 1st walk through, I pointed out to the Field Manager that the outlets were missing. He said he would add them. At final walk through, outlets for the pendant lights were still missing. At this point, the placement of the other lights are unbalanced. I reported the matter to the Sales Office and the Field Manager was asked to install the outlets. He did but did not change how the other lights were placed. Now, apart from the spacing of the lights looking so awful in my new home, it seems the openings created for the pendant lights were so unprofessionally done that after they were installed, wide open spaces are left around the lights. The Electrician mentioned that I should inform them immediately to have it fixed as air will be coming through the ceiling. I have sent pictures of the holes to those responsible for rectifying the situation since 3/28/22, todate, no one has come to look at the problem. I was about to recommend this community to people I know that will soon be looking to relocate but I have changed my mind. I will o longer be recommending this place to anyone. Took 4 months more than promised to finish. Still some small items need to be addressed. Not always responsive to these issues
