You are buying a lifestyle.....Not a home!

Mostly ok. There are not enough project managers or support team staff to provide the courtesy of a response. Escalating matters to the sales team is a waste of time. Be aware of back ordered and out of stock items.

I told salesman I would plant plants in my yard. He said no problem. He said for outside house construction issues I would have to submit request to HOA. I did not know planting a single plant would require an HOA approval at the cost of $25!! had I known, I would NEVER have bought here!!

Although our home ended up as we hoped it would. Plute is hard to deal with. Salesperson was great, project manager was great, however with the amount of builds that are taking place every owner should hire a private home inspector throughout the build. They don’t quality check on every turn of the build and they don’t have the staff to do it with. You are the quality check and rest assure unless you were in the business of home building hire an expert for your interests on quality checks. So far as we have moved in I have found their phone numbers to call not effective at all. You have to hope your project manager or salesperson will have your back and resolve issues. Biggest problem for future home buyers are quality of the build not quality of their staff or materials they just need more help. ... More

I bought a new home in Stone Creek. Overall the home is good for the price point. My problem is the sliding glass door, I paid for a new door and got one that is patched together with pieces that don’t fit right and let the bugs in. I have put paper in all the holes. I paid for a new door, not one that isn’t right. I want the whole door replaced.

This was a very stressful experience that we will not repeat again. This was our second home built with Delweb in Stone Creek, and this experience was not as smooth as the first home.

Don't believe everything they tell you. Know that warranty issue are a nightmare to get things done. No one ever returns phone calls.

Our home closing date was almost a month late. In discussing with our construction manager we were told closings were being moved around by his manager. Smaller homes were being moved to the earlier closing dates. We also had the closing coordinator try to move out our closing date due to their capacity, we pushed back on this and the held to the date. BUT this is really not ok, all teams should be aware of delays and address so the same house does not keep getting pushed out. We had to pay an additional month of storage on our house hold items. Our home was a mess on closing date, the cleaning was unacceptable. We have a lot of tile floors, when I raised concerns about the poor cleaning of the floors as they were filthy, our construction manager told us the cleaning crew used up 5 mop heads and was unwilling to clean any better. Why would anyone think this response was ok? We had to spend over 8 hours scrubbing our floors before we could even move in. We have built 6 homes, I have never been disappointed with my prior homes on closing date. We built a home with Pulte in 2014 and it was very good quality, the home is clearly not. The quality of trim / finish carpentry is very poor, and they way they are trying to correct this is consistently making it worse with every attempt as the person they are sending clearly has received no training on how to fix these issues. Some things can not be fixed with with sanding, corners should be crisp not rounded, split and cracked molding can not be caulked to repair, and rather than trying to fix items should be replaced. Everything doing the buying and building process was great, however as soon as we closed on the property we got radio silence, No response back from simple questions and the warranty dept does not exist (being ignored, no return email or call). Our stars would have so much higher, if the post close had been the same as doing the building process

As of right now, I am a very unhappy buyer. I have an issue with the water sprinkler system getting a bill that’s way too high and I was only here for two weeks. Already got a call from the water company that can be almost impossible telling me I use 52,000 gallons of water but it seems to be no concern to anyone involved in my issues I am shutting off my sprinkler system. The sprinkler system keeps leaking so I don’t know who to get in touch with. I’ve tried so many people but nobody returning my calls or emails I had somebody say they’re looking into it I haven’t had anybody come to my house or anything to get this problem fixed so I’m gonna get my first water bill. Phil living here for over two weeks I’m gonna get maybe a 500 and something dollar bill for using 52,000 gallons of water that’s almost impossible so I need somebody to take care of this problem take charge. Let me know what I have to do because my bill is coming soon and I need my issue fixed. I do have a warranty so let’s get somebody over here to fix it and let me know what the problem might betill then, I am very unhappy and I will still write comments in the Stone Creek community paper ... Home was built within time frame promised. Punch list before close not completed so now we are dealing with the warranty people. They have to see eversum itted before they will send the trade out. Frustrating process now.

After driving thousands of miles to get into our new home we discovered that our brand new washing machine (that we purchased from Pulte) was leaking water. It took three phone calls and a heated conversation with the Customer Care people to finally get someone from Pulte to respond. They refused to replace washing machine even though it never wash one load. Their warranty states it will be repaired not replaced. Three weeks later and it still has not been repaired. No parts in stock to repair.. Totally frustrated!!

Our experience with Allen our salesman at Stone creek was excellent he is knowledgeable, personable and provided great service. Our construction manager was ok, we feel he should have been keeping a closer eye on what was going on in the home during the build, which would have avoided some of the problems. Workers from numerous trades are very careless, large gouges, dings and scapes were in the drywall throughout the house which needed repair and repainting. One electrical outlet was dry walled over, and one outlet in the kitchen was tiled over. The kitchen sink was not properly installed in the granite countertop and leaked into the cabinet below, mirror in the master bath was reset 3 times due to being placed in the wrong location and a bowed wall. One day after closing the Construction manager set up the door installer to fix a problem and the contractor was a no show, no call and no response from anyone. The driveway was poured about 2 1/2” - 3” below the level of the garage floor and they had to grind down the entire edge of the garage floor to reduce the difference where you drive in. When the construction manager was asked how that could happen, he shrugged his shoulders. After closing using the warranty team to resolve issues is extremely stressful. We contacted the warranty department by email and phone calls about the kitchen sink leak. A response is supposed to occur 24-48 hours after contacting them. After no response for one week from the warranty team, we went and spoke to our salesman and asked for help. After his intervention, we received a call back and follow up for the warranty team representative within one business day. The sink issue was resolved about 5 days later, however the process didn’t happen as the warranty team explained. The warranty representative also resolved the door issue. Overall we still love the house, we are still dealing with some small issues and navigating the Del web process. ... More

Was not the enjoyable process we hoped for.

5 day walk through with construction mgr prior to closing was a joke. We pointed out several things to be corrected that were not by time we closed. This is a big waste of time let alone $ having to spend in hotel til we closed. 6 weeks later still waiting for some of the things to be done. Different tradesmen were no shows more than once, Frustrating . It was a challenge with some not speaking English when coming to make repairs. This is not my first new build . My experience with Pulte And the overall home was disappointing. Already thinking the entire inside needs to be repainted . Although Sherman williams paint, the paint seems very low grade. The carpets are horrible and other thing considering changing. I’m in a new home , I love the layout and community, however, don’t know if I would buy another Pulte home. ... More

interior of home poorly done for price. Came from a Dell Webb built home which was great compared to this. A lot of work was required after moving in and seeing what problems were there with this house.

Purchasing a home should be fun and memorable. Unfortunately, not the case. Most of the key Pulte people are nice and actually attempt to make every effort to satisfy you, until you close. Once you close, then the smiles disappear and your left with unfinished work. Warranties that have no time limit on being fixed or repaired., since they already got you. If the sub contractors were supervised than they might not have so many problems afterwards, but they are left alone to do as they want, and no one cares. I have many issues that have to be repaired and I sound like a broken record inquiring about them, only to be emailed updates that exceed 5 month waits. This is ridiculous. Simply put, glad this experience is over.

The contract required to buy the home places NO responsibility to deliver the home on time, and without defects that good quality control could avoid. The developer is focused on securing new buyers, using contractors who too often do slip-shod work and are not help accountable. Getting unacceptable defects fixed are 50/50 at best; for example, we have a shower floor that leaves a large puddle at the back of the shower because the tile floor was not sloped correctly. When reported to the warranty department, the representative said, “Get a mop”. We paid thousands of dollars extra for the larger shower and the workmanship and response of the builder is unacceptable. We have a lower kitchen cabinet with pullouts that do not pull out. Still waiting for a response from the warranty department. We have “shutters” that do not fit the size of the window, preventing privacy at night and too much light in the mornings. This is the case with other windows in the house. They should be referenced as “shudders”. Our sales person was excellent, but once the house closes, you are an “old” customer, relegated to the “Warranty Department “ and no longer a “person of interest”. At this time, it is much easier to get new customers, but this country is changing, and hopefully the company may realize that their “old” customers are as important to Pulte’s health and reputation as the “new” customers are to their bank account. ... It seems Pulti home was rushing to hand over the house and finished their work with many issues. It's really a nightmare now to get hold of them and resolved the issues.

This is the 4th Pulte home I've lived in. We went with Pulte because we've always had pretty good luck with this builder. Sadly I haven't had a good experience with this home. Everything was behind schedule by months costing us a lot of additional money. The workmanship was shoddy. I'm still finding glue and paint spots on the floor, cabinet mitered corners are an eye-sore, it's hard to get hot water in the kitchen, the cabinets were full of sawdust when I moved in, the edges of some of my doors are chewed-up, just to name a few issues. I brought it to the attention of the staff and the only response I got was that's just the way it is. (and Covid, lack of workers, etc... excuses for the reality of over-selling in a hot market). This reminds me of when Pulte got kicked out of Michigan years ago for building violations. Bottom line, I have a home to live in and I have to make the best of things, but I'm disappointed with this experience. ... More

Our salesman Allen, was very knowledgable and helpful and made the buying experience a pleasure. Once we moved to the construction phase, the problems began. Poor quality and workmanship was very evident from the beginning of the build. After closing, it's hard to get Del Webb to repair items. You should be excited and happy to move in to your new home but with Del Webb it's more of compromising and settling.

We are still waiting on matching windows. We are waiting on screens. Some windows have 6 pane grids, some have 4, some have none. Don't match, upper and lower. We do not see variety grids on other homes. Don't know why HOA/ Architectural Review Committee allows errors as such when they are sticklers on remodel application. Sloppy work. Had styrofoam in icemaker. Had plastic wrap INSIDE disposal. Fixed myself. Sink still does not drain well. Sink drain pipe slants INWARD. Gouges in garage concrete, they "will" fix. No magnetic catch on shower doors. They "will" fix. Front, garage door and back door did not have good closure, fixed myself. You could see daylight. Microwave surround and range vent hood had scratches/dents. Replaced by Whirlpool. They are working too fast and not learning from past errors. The dryer vent was corrected before we arrived. Garage overhead door is cheap, noisy. We had requested all brushed nickle hardware, faucets. Sink was chrome. Replaced myself. All quality cupboards/drawers these days should be soft close. Windows should be tilt-in so you can wash them. Ask me again in 2023. ... More
