Was not able to attend pre-closing walk through but was able to be there for 3 days the week following closing. While there I found no power in half the kitchen receptacles{which has been fixed} and no power in both baths{which hasn't}. I spent 2 hours cleaning paint splatter off floor so grout could be sealed which had to be done after closing. This makes no sense whatsoever. There is a gouge in the drywall, front door weatherstripping problem, sprinkler head by front door problem, something was dropped on the kitchen sink leaving a mark and the concrete apron in front of the garage looks like a 10 year old did. Not even at the home yet so no telling what else needs attention but based on my first 3 days I'm sure it will be something. We love the home, however there were several things that were sub par. There was glue all over the floors that we had to scrub to get off; the washing machine hoses were put on backwards (cold on hot and hot on cold); there are footprints permanently etched in our driveway, which was painted, and some of the paint is chipped off; there's a lot of glue like stuff on the front of the house and very obvious places all over, there are chips on doors, walls and several places, the filter outside the front door was filthy, the garage and lanai was filthy, with bugs all over and huge spiders - live were inside of the house (we found 4); this is just a few of the problems we found. It was not fair that we weren't here to watch other the process of building so that these things could have been caught, but you should at least have someone doing that for the buyers. Buyers should have the feeling that they are being well cared for, their homes have the quality that Del Webb's reputation carries, but alas we did not experience that at all. ... More

Overall, the community is very nice. The houses on the surface look nice. The follow up for maintenance request is average. The quality/workmanship.is average. The build of the home look kind of rushed, like front door doesn't fit tight. Paint jobs are sloppy with clumps of paint underneath cabinets and ledges, drops of paint all over the place on floors, half the outlet have paint in them or some thing that prevents you from being able to plug into them. Studs in the wall seems to very as if random. Even the toilet paper holder was put in incorrectly - nothing catastrophic, but you don’t get the sense that there was a lot of attention to detail put into the build. We find little things that we would’ve thought would’ve been caught and corrected. Given that there is a one year warranty, there’s some piece of mind, I would rather fill the survey out in about a year. ... More

While the community has great amenities, the new home building lacks quality. They changed the style of the homes and they all look alike. Not enough details on the elevations. I wish I would have bought a resale as the older homes are much better quality. The new homes are on much smaller lots….so they can fit in more homes. Pulte will cut every corner they can financially. You pay top dollar for a mid-quality home.

Problems that were identified prior to closing are still un resolved, more than 6 weeks later.

We commend our informative construction manager Jacob. He sent pics and updates throughout the build. Design consultant Nikki was generous with her time and helped us in choosing our finishes. There are certain finishes that are not the same quality as what we saw in the model homes. The performance of the a/c system is poor coupled with inadequate insulation resulting in significant variation in temperature in some rooms. Ultimately you move here for the community so keep that in mind.

Salesman was great, Pulte mortgage was terrible, we luckily were able to not need them! Workmanship is not so great, hopefully all gets corrected . Time frame of completion was earlier then expected.

House was not ready at closing. Sod was put in the day of closing. No white glove walkthrough at all.

building during Covid a challenge. Supply and labor issues throughout build. Inferior product at stages and difficult to get Del Webb to provide what was promised and expected. We felt it was necessary to watch them build and check on the work often. We love our home but the process was not easy or enjoyable.

You are buying a lifestyle.....Not a home!

Mostly ok. There are not enough project managers or support team staff to provide the courtesy of a response. Escalating matters to the sales team is a waste of time. Be aware of back ordered and out of stock items.

Empty promises. No follow through. Poor quality workmanship.

Everything doing the buying and building process was great, however as soon as we closed on the property we got radio silence, No response back from simple questions and the warranty dept does not exist (being ignored, no return email or call). Our stars would have so much higher, if the post close had been the same as doing the building process

Home was built within time frame promised. Punch list before close not completed so now we are dealing with the warranty people. They have to see eversum itted before they will send the trade out. Frustrating process now.

After driving thousands of miles to get into our new home we discovered that our brand new washing machine (that we purchased from Pulte) was leaking water. It took three phone calls and a heated conversation with the Customer Care people to finally get someone from Pulte to respond. They refused to replace washing machine even though it never wash one load. Their warranty states it will be repaired not replaced. Three weeks later and it still has not been repaired. No parts in stock to repair.. Totally frustrated!!

Our experience with Allen our salesman at Stone creek was excellent he is knowledgeable, personable and provided great service. Our construction manager was ok, we feel he should have been keeping a closer eye on what was going on in the home during the build, which would have avoided some of the problems. Workers from numerous trades are very careless, large gouges, dings and scapes were in the drywall throughout the house which needed repair and repainting. One electrical outlet was dry walled over, and one outlet in the kitchen was tiled over. The kitchen sink was not properly installed in the granite countertop and leaked into the cabinet below, mirror in the master bath was reset 3 times due to being placed in the wrong location and a bowed wall. One day after closing the Construction manager set up the door installer to fix a problem and the contractor was a no show, no call and no response from anyone. The driveway was poured about 2 1/2” - 3” below the level of the garage floor and they had to grind down the entire edge of the garage floor to reduce the difference where you drive in. When the construction manager was asked how that could happen, he shrugged his shoulders. After closing using the warranty team to resolve issues is extremely stressful. We contacted the warranty department by email and phone calls about the kitchen sink leak. A response is supposed to occur 24-48 hours after contacting them. After no response for one week from the warranty team, we went and spoke to our salesman and asked for help. After his intervention, we received a call back and follow up for the warranty team representative within one business day. The sink issue was resolved about 5 days later, however the process didn’t happen as the warranty team explained. The warranty representative also resolved the door issue. Overall we still love the house, we are still dealing with some small issues and navigating the Del web process. ... More

Was not the enjoyable process we hoped for.

Simply put, glad this experience is over.

It seems Pulti home was rushing to hand over the house and finished their work with many issues. It's really a nightmare now to get hold of them and resolved the issues.

Quick to sell, slow to respond to builder issues that need to be corrected immediately

Responsiveness to identified issues is laughable. I can’t recommend buying a house from del Webb

This is a retirement community. Home is NOT senior friendly.

I really got good customer service before close of escrow but find Pulte really lacking in service after close. I lived in a Del Webb in California some years ago and found them to be much more customer friendly. I suppose I will get used to this but is disappointing.

This was a very stressful experience that we will not repeat again. This was our second home built with Delweb in Stone Creek, and this experience was not as smooth as the first home.
