Purchasing a home should be fun and memorable. Unfortunately, not the case. Most of the key Pulte people are nice and actually attempt to make every effort to satisfy you, until you close. Once you close, then the smiles disappear and your left with unfinished work. Warranties that have no time limit on being fixed or repaired., since they already got you. If the sub contractors were supervised than they might not have so many problems afterwards, but they are left alone to do as they want, and no one cares. I have many issues that have to be repaired and I sound like a broken record ...

We are still waiting on matching windows. We are waiting on screens. Some windows have 6 pane grids, some have 4, some have none. Don't match, upper and lower. We do not see variety grids on other homes. Don't know why HOA/ Architectural Review Committee allows errors as such when they are sticklers on remodel application. Sloppy work. This is the 4th Pulte home I've lived in. We went with Pulte because we've always had pretty good luck with this builder. Sadly I haven't had a good experience with this home. Everything was behind schedule by months costing us a lot of additional money. The workmanship was shoddy. I'm still finding glue and paint spots on the floor, cabinet mitered corners are an eye-sore, it's hard to get hot water in the kitchen, the cabinets were full of sawdust when I moved in, the edges of some of my doors are chewed-up, just to name a few issues. Communication throughout the process has been poor. Slow responses on all levels. While the house is visually beautiful from the street, the interior of the home is poorly done. There appears to be no pride in the craftsmanship of my home. Poor paint, poor fit and finish, bad doors and the list will continue. They are starting to do some warranty work, but the repairs have been slow.

Don’t trust them to fix things that go wrong even one day after the close, hire someone to give you an expert opinion prior to close. They are great at giving you the run around.

We have had nothing but problems since moving in. You can see daylight through the garage door and that is an "acceptable" margin of error. This attitude is totally unacceptable! The garage doors are just cheap pieces of metal! The child safety mechanism can easily be put out of alignment. We had 3 defective toilets. Totally not level. They have been replaced. We were promised a quality home "the Del Webb difference" and we did not get it. The bones of the house are hopefully quality but the finished product was crap. We had to touch up every wall, many cabinet faces need replacement, no screens on our windows for many months and still waiting. Every appliance has needed repair or replace and some not done yet. there has not been a single area where we didn't need some kind of repair. Our sales person seemed to lose interest once we signed the contract and was non-existent through the close. Sales person has yet to congratulate us on the new home. Low scores to sales. Pulte mortgage was impossible to deal with and dropped the ball several times to the point I used another lender and lost $8K from Pulte, but it was worth it. The bright shinning star was our construction project manager who was great to work with, communicative and very detail oriented.

Beware...... First water bill for new home buyers to Stone Creek!!! Turn your irrigation system back!!!!!!

Stone Creek used 116,000 gallons of water on our sod prior to ours closing. After our closing we had inadvertently and quite accidentally and mistakenly used 92,000 gallons of water on our new sod. Isn’t that an excessive amount of water and a waste????? Perhaps your notice/awareness Regarding watering new sod to new homebuyers could be made with more emphasis regarding the awareness of the first and second water bill!!!!! Way too many excuses as to why they couldn’t meet their commitments. Yes, we were well aware of the staffing and building materials shortages. Took way too long to get someone out to fix things.

Pulte prides itself in their quality and I can honestly say quality is probably furthest from their minds. They are all about the dollar, period! If you are looking for quality, look elsewhere. If you want a run of the mill, but standard home, then they will not disappoint.

Hi. This is our third Pulte home and the quality of this home is less than our previous Pulte homes. Cheaper stainless sinks, substandard pitted granite, thermostat of lesser quality and features. No light over the kitchen sink. This is a 55+ community and the shower head is hard to reach for me and I am 6 feet. I have to get the shower head down for my wife who is 5'5". The lights are not centered over the island. They only needed to be moved 7" to make them correct. Lack of qualified contractors.

This was our second home in Stone Creek. Our first home was trouble free and only took 5 months to build. This second home took 10 months to build and was fraught with multiple contractor problems. We definitely would not build another home with Pulte under current conditions with subcontractors.

I'm not happy with the quality of the workmanship on our tile floor. Grout is not even seemed like the just slapped it down quickly, didn't use spacers so grout lines are uneven, some tiles are raised not happy with this. We were told they are within the quidelines. If they can get them perfect in the model homes the quality should be the same in all homes. Very discussed!

The seeming lack of quality/quality control and the “cheapness” of the fittings/fixtures. The installed landscaping, especially the sod is very poor grade and was not installed with care. The attention to detail is poor!

It would be advisable for anyone considering a purchase/build to make frequent personal visits and closely monitor the progress of the build. This is a very real regret from my perspective. Despite being assured of “quality control” throughout the process, it is not possible to recognize it in this particular house.

limit your options we paid over 10,000 for upgraded tile. We did not get the tile we ordered different color and pattern and different name. They said it was close enough. they said they have the right to change our choices in the contract. Construction supervisor lied to us several times. Do not close till all items fixed or hold back money. After they receive your money you are helpless. They are desperate money.

Follow up was very poor through out the process and the initial walk through was a waste of time because non of the issues were corrected. Our warranty person is trying but the sub-contractors are not easy to work with.

Dealing with Pulte mortgage was a tedious experience. Pulte insurance was horrible, they presented an unrated carrier with horrible reviews on their claims paying. We paid to have our garage floor epoxy coated; they applied the coating over cracks. When I asked why they didn't fix them first I was told " we don't do that". We should have been told to have done by an outside contractor that does the job right. So far the warranty department has responsive.

Air Conditioning does not adequately provide cooling to Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom and Walk-In Closet. Large Holes left in the Garage Floor. Front Door not sealed properly. Piece of Trim cut to short in Master Bathroom which has left home exposed to Ants and other insects entering the home through Large Opening. Landscaping and Sod are Very Poor Quality for thr Price Paid for this Home. Large amount of Weeds were left present in Landscaped Areas at Time of Closing. Dead Sod was installed in yard. Some Areas did not have Sod installed at all.

Very disappointed in the quality of the work done in our new home. Chipped tiles, drywall sloppiness, floors have layer of drywall dust embedded due to not being covered, paint splotches everywhere. The cleaning crew did a terrible job of cleaning prior to us moving in. The entire experience was very disappointing. So much so I told a friend not to build with Pulte after our experience.

We felt that the builder, Pulte Homes, was less than truthful about what they were building for us. They substituted an elevation different from what was on our contract and did not inform us until we noticed the structural difference after the house had been framed and roofed and complained. They have no credibility with us anymore and, in talking with other new homeowners in the community, we are not alone.
