The day we took possession we had the following issues: Broken windows Painting is so bad they are repainting the entire inside of our house Refrigerator has bee replaced (Ice Maker DOA) Air Conditioning has failed on two occasions (Leaks were found on the outside of the house) The quality of our home is just not what we expected and our dreams have been taken away with all the issues

Beware...... First water bill for new home buyers to Stone Creek!!! Turn your irrigation system back!!!!!!

Stone Creek used 116,000 gallons of water on our sod prior to ours closing. After our closing we had inadvertently and quite accidentally and mistakenly used 92,000 gallons of water on our new sod. Isn’t that an excessive amount of water and a waste????? Perhaps your notice/awareness Regarding watering new sod to new homebuyers could be made with more emphasis regarding the awareness of the first and second water bill!!!!! We were fortunate to be able to visit several Del Web communities before deciding to buy in Ocala. We made sure to compare building code and how homes were built. In one part of Florida the home are wood construction instead of concrete blocks, having lived in Florida we realized the importance of having a concrete block construction and to make sure it is safe for hurricanes, it only takes one hurricane to do a lot of damage and having lived through several hurricanes we knew what type of construction was needed. My overall experience with Del Webb was smooth. Darren from Sales was helpful, courteous, responsive and professional. Delivery of my home was on schedule as projected. Closing process was smooth though my closing statement needed adjustment for a missed down payment. Minor defect was spot on my quartz island countertop at pre closing inspection. The whole countertop was replaced in the morning on the closing day. A number of carpentry items (such as nails punching out from side) have to go through the warranty process. I really got good customer service before close of escrow but find Pulte really lacking in service after close. I lived in a Del Webb in California some years ago and found them to be much more customer friendly. I suppose I will get used to this but is disappointing.

Biggest issue was front lawn sod. We received some bad sod and they agreed and are replacing it. Otherwise the house is great. Walls, woodwork, molding, etc were installed with excellent workmanship. We are very satisfied.

We have had nothing but problems since moving in. You can see daylight through the garage door and that is an "acceptable" margin of error. This attitude is totally unacceptable! The garage doors are just cheap pieces of metal! The child safety mechanism can easily be put out of alignment. We had 3 defective toilets. Totally not level. They have been replaced. The master bath twice and bath 3 had to have the drain collar replace because it was cracked when the replacement was installed. We were without a toilet in the master bedroom for a whole month. Hi. This is our third Pulte home and the quality of this home is less than our previous Pulte homes. Cheaper stainless sinks, substandard pitted granite, thermostat of lesser quality and features. No light over the kitchen sink. This is a 55+ community and the shower head is hard to reach for me and I am 6 feet. I have to get the shower head down for my wife who is 5'5". The lights are not centered over the island. They only needed to be moved 7" to make them correct. Was not able to attend pre-closing walk through but was able to be there for 3 days the week following closing. While there I found no power in half the kitchen receptacles{which has been fixed} and no power in both baths{which hasn't}. I spent 2 hours cleaning paint splatter off floor so grout could be sealed which had to be done after closing. This makes no sense whatsoever. There is a gouge in the drywall, front door weatherstripping problem, sprinkler head by front door problem, something was dropped on the kitchen sink leaving a mark and the concrete apron in front of the garage ...

The initial drive into Stone Creek as well as the models and the staff all A+. The finished product comes in at a C for the following reasons. Attention to detail is lacking both inside and out. For example, on the interior we needed to sand and re-paint some window sills and caulk base board joints and crown molding shortly after moving in. Had issues with shutters because the windows are not even. On the exterior. By far the outside is our biggest disappointment for the following reasons. Design center did very nice job adding about $30K in upgrades. No comfort height toilets a big miss, it’s a retirement community, costs almost nothing to add them. Space and storage in this house is bell designed.

The people we dealt with at Del Webb (Pulte Homes)were fantastic, from Darren the sales person, Nikki in the design studio, John our Field Manager, to the girls at Pulte Mortgage. I give each and everyone of them 5 stars. I love our home, but I believe they do not have enough workers to complete the homes within the time frame and do a quality job. Our sod has been our biggest complaint even before we moved in, but Pulte refuses to do anything about it. Many others in the neighborhood have the same complaint. My wife and I have only been here 6 weeks and love it so far. We had some small issues, that any new home does, and Pulte has been quick to respond. The supervisor in charge during the construction, Jacob, was awesome. Although we bought a spec home, Jacob sent us pictures of the home under construction to the final product. There were some minor items that needed touch up that were seen during the walk through, but Jacob completed all repairs when promised. I was obvious that Jacob enjoys and takes pride in his job. We would highly recommend living in Stone Creek.

Follow up was very poor through out the process and the initial walk through was a waste of time because non of the issues were corrected. Our warranty person is trying but the sub-contractors are not easy to work with.
