Showing agent was pleasant and friendly. Information provided during our contact was confusing. Closing through the portal was brutal when only accessible via a cell phone. The contract was the worst I've ever had to read and sign over multiple home closings. Getting home repairs is cumbersome, with multiple contacts involved, providing no straight forward completion dates on some items. Others have been completed quickly. Everything was good in the beginning. We live in Colorado and are buying a new home in Ocala, Florida. Felt like we were rushed through the walk through and didn't really get a chance to look at the house throughly. We have issues with the house but unfortunately have not moved to Florida yet so we are having issues getting repairs needed. There is a wall on a pocket door which may need to be rebuilt. Disappointed in their finish work but the overall construction is excellent for a non custom home. They are not flexible with upgrading air conditioning systems and using a different maker for a dishwasher also no flexibility in including a gas line for people that prefer cooking with gas we put the gas line for $10,000 it’s propane and it is great to be able to have our Wolf Appliances and updated kitchen appliances however we had to remove the new ones they all got donated since no flexibility on choosing your appliances !!! The area is beautiful and well kept and people living here ...

We purchase a home that was already built

We love the home, however there were several things that were sub par. There was glue all over the floors that we had to scrub to get off; the washing machine hoses were put on backwards (cold on hot and hot on cold); there are footprints permanently etched in our driveway, which was painted, and some of the paint is chipped off; there's a lot of glue like stuff on the front of the house and very obvious places all over, there are chips on doors, walls and several places, the filter outside the front door was filthy, the garage and lanai was filthy, with bugs all over and huge spiders - live ...

Follow up about problems not the best

Our contractor and community service guy were great but following through with things isn’t their strong point. It seems once the build is over they have so many others to build that new buyers don’t get the attention they deserve. Still waiting to hear about 4 problems. Two quit big and although they came to check it out promised follow through Have yet to be done.

Our Experience with our New Home

Frank and his crew were great. They kept us updated on the building process weekly and we closed earlier than expected. However, we did experience a broken sewer pipe upon move in date. We could not use the water. I called the warranty office and Chase and the plumbers did come through. They had to drill a hole in our Flex room to replace the pipe. We had to spend a couple of nights in a hotel - which we did get reimbursed. They also used the spare LVP to repair the flooring quickly as well and returned the LVP that they used. They did get it resolved in a couple of days. Overall ...

Everything was going great until we needed warranty service. We had a cracked master BR door. It was a comedy of errors. Many days we waited for a service call. It they showed up it was with a damaged door, doors that didn’t fit & several visits to finally get the door fit, painted & installed. Very disappointing considering we love everything else about Stone Creek.

Del Webb has always been to be the ultimate home buyers experience. But, ours was disappointing ! Sales had to be tracked down every time we came in to see community and to have our needs met. We had to request another Sales Agent to assist us. Project manager meet appt for walk thru was good… But, Closing day walk thru punch list not completed!! Another manager rushed thru our walk thru, leaving things Incomplete. ( Everyone always rushing to another appt)!! Closing rep was nice at the Sales Office Closing and was very thorough.
