Angelia made our home buying experience wonderful and stress free. She made sure what model we liked and then showed us what new builds they had available. Everything was explained to us thoroughly. From the very beginning with contacting the Sales office to the final close and all the paperwork, our experience was really smooth... We were very happy with everyone we worked with: sales representatives, construction manager, office personnel, pulte mortgage & insurance people. Even though it does take time, they made it go fast. We were from out of state and I was surprised the continuous contact we had with everyone. We love our home and the 55+ Community we chose.

My experience with Del Webb Stone Creek was very good. Rob, my construction manager was very good. He kept me informed during the building process by taking frequent pictures and sending e-mails. He always answered my phone calls in a timely manner. I am very pleased with my new home.

Beginning with the positive: the onsite construction/project manager Dawnyel was outstanding! She went above my expectations repeatedly and was the one person in the Del Webb-Pulte experience, other than my realtor who was listening to me and anticipating my needs. There’s been a few minor problems with the purchase: lawn problems with drainage and initial set up of sprinklers, but she’s been aware and responsive to my concerns. Made a great recommendation/advice to get my tile grout sealed, which will be a huge benefit when I start living there. She listened respectfully when I was rushed with the closing process, and I needed to be heard. She and Deborah from the Title company understood my issue. The home itself is lovely. I’ve not been able to move in yet, as life has kept me in California longer than anticipated; however, I was never going to be a quick move in. The negative: my Pulte’s sales person, Brian, was terrific in working with me to select and buy the home. I was a cash purchase. I gave my deposit and signed the agreement and was told escrow would be 30-40 days. I was flying back to California on a Saturday. The day prior I asked if I needed to stay for anything. Brian said no that closing would take awhile. Two days home and I get a call that the house was closing in 7 days and house inspection would have to be done and a lot of paperwork and I was told by a woman, Nickie??? - I forget now that 3 days after closing all electricity and water would be turned off and I would need to set up those accounts. When I stated to Brian that I needed more time, he dismissed that saying they could close immediately as per contract. I panicked, having nightmares that I couldn’t get it all done. If I didn’t get water, all the Lanscaping would die, though the sprinklers and drainage is wrong and that’s happening anyway. If I didn’t get electricity in time, my house would be destroyed by costly black mold as the a/c wouldn’t be on. I needed to find insurance and Brian said I didn’t need to worry about that and that the house would be fine for a time without insurance. I explained that I had lost my home to fire during renovations and it was uninsured because it was over a 100 years old and new wiring throughout the house hadn’t been finalized yet, so $250k in renovation costs lost and a gutting of my finances as my home in California was a planned investment. Brian didn’t budge. After a few days, realized that the contract I signed said 30-40 days escrow and I refused to allow myself to be railroaded and bullied just to meet Pulte’s monthly sales quota. My realtor and a local friend did the inspection for me. My friend received the keys. My prior property had all been inherited and this was finally a home I was buying and I never got the “welcome home” ceremony, I barely have been spoken to civilly by Pulte’s sales since I didn’t let the sale finalize in 7 days from my deposit. I’m glad I stood up for myself, but I shouldn’t have had to do so. Back to positive: my one truly positive impression of Pulte’s was and is Dawnyel. She made me feel like she truly cared about me being happy in my home. I held off doing this survey as I was so upset still when I got this that I didn’t trust my ability to be civil. I have had an overall great experience both shopping for & purchasing my new house. I very pleased with with the home itself. Great attention was paid to the details.

Several repairs to our brand new home have been required, each request has been fulfilled in a timely manner.

We loved stone creek and the homes offered in our price range. We had a fantastic realtor and SC salesman. I didn’t understand the lot sizes and location choices before jumping the gun and buying. After they started building I found out there wasn’t enough room to install the pool I desperately wanted. Our salesman knew that’s all I wanted. He told us we could fit a pool. I now know his idea of a pool and mine are totally different. So be careful and ask the right questions like sizes.

Angela from the sales team and Chase & Dawnyel from the build team were exceptional. Not be able to converse with the pre-drywall project manager was the only area which should be addressed.

Mike our construction manager was very good. He went above and beyond Ty Mike and Frank with the repairs as well.

Dawnyle was amazing and listened to us. However our warrantee team just kept giving us excuses for the poor workmanship.

Our entire experience was easy. All information was made available to us, all of our questions were answered and any issues were taken care of, almost immediately. There were no "hidden" or extra costs. This was our 5th home buying experiencing and our 1st new build. We retained a trusted realtor to represent us and that made the whole experience even easier.

Our experience with Bruce, Frank, & Debbie have been wonderful.

After being in our last home for 33 years, it was time to move to something newer and enjoy retirement. Searching around the middle of Florida, we found Del Webb communities in quite a few locations. We liked what we saw, and finally bought in Stone Creek near Ocala. Although not a 'custom' builder, Del Webb offers a large selection of interesting options to allow us to make it 'ours' from the start. Our salesman, Bruce, was just all-around great; he really knew what we might want, and that's what we got. Construction time was less than we expected, and now in our new home for 9 weeks, we are delighted! Any issues we've had (few and small) were addressed quickly and professionally by a great team of Chase and Matthew. As one of the first homes to be finished in our new neighborhood, we have to contend with construction activity, but bicycling around our other finished neighborhoods we know how nice it will be very soon. Beautiful home, well built to a point, but watch out for the missing details. Still finding and dealing with some sloppy workmanship issues that should not exist. The good news is that most are being addressed, slowly, but it is a never-ending process finding things that should have just been done right the first time.

He went out of his way to be certain all our last minute issues were handled.

When thinking about buying here one of the things was i would not know anyone here. The sales guy told me that at orientation someone be assigned like a type of ambassador. That didn't happen. The building manager was fine. He told me to wait to bring up the issues i found around the home because the warranty folks would not want to fix it more than once. When the warranty folks came by there were a couple of issues I brought up told me they would have things fixed. NEVER happened. I understand my home was probably in less than 60 days and things get over like. Now I just put painters tape by the issues and I know that it will get fixed. Besides all that I love my home. The buying and build phase was seamless thanks to our salesman, Darrin and our construction supervisor, Michael. Quality of home is good. Only a couple of service requests thus far and they were handled efficiently and to our satisfaction. Warranty contact, Debbie, even stopped by to check on completion of work.

Kudos to Angela, Richard, and Gustavo for 110% effort given before, during and after construction. Everyone doing their jobs, honestly above and beyond. We appreciate they're professionalism and attention to detail.

Our salesperson Bruce was always available to answer questions. He was very professional, highly attentive, and knowledgeable- an asset to your company.

From the start to finish, we had the best new home purchase experience ever, we’ve had several new homes over the year. Darren, our sales representative was a true pleasure, he’s honest and so easy to understand, Darren is the best!
