The Ocala area offers excellent value. Del Webb offers abundant amenities. Pulte builds a quality home. We have had some issues with warrantee responsiveness as the subs are maxed out with new construction that repairs get the back burner.

Incredible community! Wonderful amenities, clubs and selection of homesites. Other Del Webb communities don’t compare. Sales people are accommodating and communicate well but sometimes not up to date with their pricing. Mateo, our site supervisor was fantastic through the entire process. Sadly, I believe that Pulte would do better to supervise their sub contractors rather than relying on warranty service to complete the homes. Sewer system

Since purchasing in May the plumber has been trying to clear a clogged drain and subsequent back up. Raw sewage in the shower! We had to leave for a couple of months and The third clean out Was done in our absence. We Return in three weeks. Hopefully it’s fixed this time. Matt at customer service has been responsive but that doesn’t make the nasty experience a nice thing.

Poor response to home quality Issues, that need repair/replacement. Field superintendent unqualified to find defects. Home should have never have never been ready to close in the condition it was in on final walk thru and issues have still not been addressed, 2 months later.

Overall, the community is very nice. The houses on the surface look nice. The follow up for maintenance request is average. The quality/workmanship.is average. The build of the home look kind of rushed, like front door doesn't fit tight. Paint jobs are sloppy with clumps of paint underneath cabinets and ledges, drops of paint all over the place on floors, half the outlet have paint in them or some thing that prevents you from being able to plug into them. Studs in the wall seems to very as if random. Even the toilet paper holder was put in incorrectly - nothing catastrophic, but you don’t get ...

I absolutely love my new home ! Love the community and the residents are exceptionally friendly. Buying a house is scary and having one built doubled the fear of the unknown. Independent house inspector was the best thing we did.

We had an independent house inspector do the inspection before the sheetrock got installed and the final inspection. It was the best insurance we ever purchased. His inspections showed that the quality of construction was good and he tagged everything that needed to be repaired prior to closing. We had three different construction PM's during the building process. All of them seemed competent and easy to work with. Our inspector will also do the 1 year warranty walkthrough when it comes time for that.

Our salesman Bruce worked very well with us. There were no hidden surprises. The project manager, Mike R. & Gordon who were responsible for building our home were right on the spot answered all our questions help us out with any issues we had. I highly recommend Stone Creek for anybody interested in living in Ocala.

It has been almost 2 months since move in. We have 19 items on our warranty to be fixed items. One electrical issue that took 2 weeks to get a response. One security issue that took 3 weeks to fix. We were told how great the Pulte inspections were - not sure about that!

Buyer Beware....product and service is NOT good!

Pulte Homes does NOT build a good quality home. Their product is terrible and the warranty process is ridiculous! Our air conditioner did NOT work because of it NOT being tested at time of build. Our clothes dryer plug was a refrigerator plug! Outlet wasn't even connected to a wire! And lots more but this gives an idea of the quality of our home. This is supposed to be a home built for an older person and our shower is the most dangerous concept...just STUPID! You have to step DOWN 4 1/2 inches to get into a shower pan...it's actually a 6 inch dropdown in the center by the drain. ...

Don’t trust them to fix things that go wrong even one day after the close, hire someone to give you an expert opinion prior to close. They are great at giving you the run around.

It has been just a short while since moving in to our brand new home. There has really only been two issues that a work request has been generated for. A lighting issue fixed no problem, sliding door screens are damaged need replacements, no word on this and it’s been several weeks. Other than that so good so far.

Buying a home is a very complicated experience and Del Webb tried very hard to make the experience as easy and comfortable as possible. There are some small concerns about internal communications at Pulte throughout the process and that, at times was aggravating. Of course, now that I have moved in to my new home everything seems fine.

On the recommendation of a friend, engaged a third party Home Inspector. That turned out to be good. I talked to a few others, who didn't do that, who had many complaints about imperfections. Pulte could improved their quality assurance. Still there is one issue with the garage door; while closing, the door goes back up, but second time it closes. couldn't find any obstructions. Warranty department says this is not a warranty issue. Found one broken electricity box behind the Lanai ceiling light; wires with caps left in the ceiling. Could cause an electrical spark. The walk thru went o.k. with the builder, some items where in need of replacement and/or repair and for the most part were done. Some items were not checked, (i.e. irrigation system) and it is NOT currently working properly. It was an Inventory Home, and we needed to move quickly, so we saw what we liked, but later found out that the house was not in a condition that needed to be. As an example, the PAINT workmanship needs a lot of improvement! Since the interior paint was already an upgrade, we had no option than to accept it.
