Air Conditioning does not adequately provide cooling to Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom and Walk-In Closet. Large Holes left in the Garage Floor. Front Door not sealed properly. Piece of Trim cut to short in Master Bathroom which has left home exposed to Ants and other insects entering the home through Large Opening. Landscaping and Sod are Very Poor Quality for thr Price Paid for this Home. Large amount of Weeds were left present in Landscaped Areas at Time of Closing. Dead Sod was installed in yard. Some Areas did not have Sod installed at all.

Allen, Nikki, Mateo & Debbie were wonderful to work with in my purchase, build, and follow up experience. Home was delivered quicker that forecast. Prices are the best in Florida.

Slow response to correct defenses in the home

Our construction manager Gordon did a great job answering questions and keeping us informed. He was very patient and understanding with our questions and always took the time to explain everything. Our sales rep Darren was also very helpful throughout the process and we have made several referrals to him.

Fit, finish, and cleanliness left something to be desired.

We commend our informative construction manager Jacob. He sent pics and updates throughout the build. Design consultant Nikki was generous with her time and helped us in choosing our finishes. There are certain finishes that are not the same quality as what we saw in the model homes. The performance of the a/c system is poor coupled with inadequate insulation resulting in significant variation in temperature in some rooms. Ultimately you move here for the community so keep that in mind.

It's difficult to know where to start, so we'll do so at the beginning. Aside from dealing with our salesman Bruce, which was the only bright spot we can mention, it has been an absolute nightmare. We were on the west coast caring for my 97 year old parents during the build, so we put our trust in our project manager Steve to build our first ever new home. We chose Del Webb in part as my sister just had one built by them in Mesquite Nevada which was over 2500sq ft detailed to perfection. That's what we were expecting here in Stone Creek Ocala Florida. We were so wrong. Although Steve did a fair job of keeping us up to date on the progress of the build, I don't know what else he did for us in a positive way. It seems nothing was inspected by him as each job was performed in our home. If it was, our home wouldn't have been delivered in its present condition. While here for the pre-drywall inspection, I mentioned I'd probably bring in a home inspector before closing. He stated that was no problem, just a waste of money. He told me of the warranty, and instilled in me enough confidence in him that we did not bring in an inspector. That was a huge mistake. We did our pre-closing walkthrough one week prior to closing and was informed that every function in the home had been thoroughly checked. We were apparently both naive and gullible on what to do or look for so things an inspector initially would have caught we didn't. On the day of our closing, Steve didn't show up. He sent a gentleman named Chase in his place. The cleaning crew showed up after we did so we had to wait outside for a while longer, eventually going in before they completed the job, which was absolutely a waste of time. The house was dirty, undusted, and so much paint on floors and windows, inside and out. Approximately 20 minutes into our walkthrough, Chase told us we had to speed things up as he had another appointment to attend. Unbelievable to spend all this money, not have your project manager show up, and then get rushed on top of it. We were just overwhelmed by the situation. After actually getting in our home (can't call it new anymore) we've discovered an array of issues; poor paint and texturing on walls, a window that when opened in took the drywall off the wall due to nothing being squared, shoddy and uneven drywall, damaged molding throughout, scratched windows, leaky shower (which we were told was supposed to be that way!), scratched and stained bathtub and sinks, air handler installation issues, high priced countertops not properly cut, doors damaged and not hung straight, windowsills not sanded, uneven paint job, paint on the floors and tile, cracked tile on backsplash, already cracked driveway in several places, chipped and unevenly finished sidewalk, unfinish cement in garage corners, and such an over pour of cement around the perimeter of the home that was hidden with mulch that had to be cut away. Absolutely no attention to detail by any trade. It seems as though our home was completed by a group of apprentices with no supervision. All we have mentioned so far are the cosmetic things you can see. With so much wrong, we are beginning to wonder and question the foundation and structure of our home. If it was done like the things we can see, we feel it could lead to bigger problems down the road. Five weeks later we still haven't moved our belongings from the garage into our home. FIVE WEEKS! Steve did come back with his boss Andrew who told us you probably won't get all the things you're looking for fixed. Wow. One thing in particular we showed him was the leaky shower. I offered them a simple fix to the issue. He said that would be too much work. He mentioned they had a fix and would send me a photo, that never happened. In the meantime, our shower leaks every day. While only a couple matters have been resolved to date, there seems to be no urgency by Pulte to resolve these issues in a timely fashion. We called warranty twice now and spoke to Michele, and she assured us Drake would be giving us a call. That was a week ago. Drake visited our neighbor two days ago who is only two doors away from us who is closing this Friday. He didn't bother to stop by and we have yet to receive a phone call either. I can go on in detail about everything I've mentioned but won't. I have video and pictures of everything for verification. All we are hoping for at this point is that someone from Pulte with authority reads this and cares enough to helps us rectify these matters now. We've sat so many days already, told by Steve that vendors would come by for repairs and no one ever shows up. We invite Pulte management to come by our home TODAY to see for yourself. We waited so long to achieve our dream of a once in a lifetime new home purchase and Pulte has turned it into a nightmare. ... More

Our experience with Allen our salesman at Stone creek was excellent he is knowledgeable, personable and provided great service. Our construction manager was ok, we feel he should have been keeping a closer eye on what was going on in the home during the build, which would have avoided some of the problems. Workers from numerous trades are very careless, large gouges, dings and scapes were in the drywall throughout the house which needed repair and repainting. One electrical outlet was dry walled over, and one outlet in the kitchen was tiled over. The kitchen sink was not properly installed in the granite countertop and leaked into the cabinet below, mirror in the master bath was reset 3 times due to being placed in the wrong location and a bowed wall. One day after closing the Construction manager set up the door installer to fix a problem and the contractor was a no show, no call and no response from anyone. The driveway was poured about 2 1/2” - 3” below the level of the garage floor and they had to grind down the entire edge of the garage floor to reduce the difference where you drive in. When the construction manager was asked how that could happen, he shrugged his shoulders. After closing using the warranty team to resolve issues is extremely stressful. We contacted the warranty department by email and phone calls about the kitchen sink leak. A response is supposed to occur 24-48 hours after contacting them. After no response for one week from the warranty team, we went and spoke to our salesman and asked for help. After his intervention, we received a call back and follow up for the warranty team representative within one business day. The sink issue was resolved about 5 days later, however the process didn’t happen as the warranty team explained. The warranty representative also resolved the door issue. Overall we still love the house, we are still dealing with some small issues and navigating the Del web process. ... More

I recently purchased a home in Stone Creek, Del Webb. Excited to be in a new home, I was there the week before closing to do my pre-closing walk-through. We marked up many many things that needed to be addressed and the site supervisor, Jeff, told me that I was very particular, and that I should be reminded I am buying a production home and not a custom home. I reminded him that while it is not a custom home it is my home. I went back a week later for my closing, which I had closed online prior to my final walk-through, and nothing had been addressed. Nothing that was marked up and let me tell you the house look like it had the measles because it was so many red and blue taped areas . He gave me an excuse that there was something wrong with the painters, and that they couldn’t get back there. Aside from the painting that was sheet rock spackle all over the floors and I was told that it could easily come up when I wash the floor with hot water. The list continues to go on. There is still things that have not been addressed and while I am on vacation right now, I am meeting with the warranty manager when I get back. The quality of workmanship is subpar. Moldings have been cut short and then filled with caulking where they meet the tile and moldings around doorways are jagged, and not smooth And I could continue to go on, but I would prefer that somebody call me and discuss this with me. And by the way, I also had my sliding glass door come off the track and I had to call Jeff on a weekend and that was two weeks after I purchased the home and he told me it is not a warranty item and then I should call Handyman and pay somebody to fix it. From what I understand with my new neighbors, he apparently does not have a very good reputation with the new buyers. In fact, my neighbor threw him out of the house. I own a DellWebb home in Lakewood Ranch and I want to say there is a pretty big difference in the quality of that home and this home. Granted the home in Lakewood Ranch is over $1 million and this home is only close to $500,000 which by the way it’s not a cheap trailer home by any means. I would expect the quality of some of the things I have a $200,000 home but not in a $500,000 home. ... More

We could not be happier with our home and the community of Stone Creek. Del Webb did a great job from start to finish. Our construction manager Jack was very responsive and kept us apprised of all progress. He was very responsive to our questions. We would highly recommend del Webb in Stone Creek to anyone looking in the Ocala area.

Great service from day one. All the Reps were professional and got the job done when they said they would. Outstanding service on all steps of the buying process.

We had a beautiful Stardom home built. Allen was our sales representative and made it an easy decision, helped us out throughout the process and delivered what we paid for. Great build/construction manager, Jacob was there from the start and ensured everything was done, communicated well and built an incredible home. Gary the customer service representative is incredibly helpful and knows the business. Great Pulte Team and love our home.

Overall, the whole process was very smooth. Since we were living in Texas during the construction process, there was the potential for much stress. However, our building team was amazing at keeping us updated weekly on what we needed to know. This helped us to feel more involved.

Take time to read the papers given to you at closing, they do give you all the information you need.

Hi I thought my building mgr jack purvis was excellent and a asset to your company

Very disappointed in the quality of the work done in our new home. Chipped tiles, drywall sloppiness, floors have layer of drywall dust embedded due to not being covered, paint splotches everywhere. The cleaning crew did a terrible job of cleaning prior to us moving in. The entire experience was very disappointing. So much so I told a friend not to build with Pulte after our experience.

We felt that the builder, Pulte Homes, was less than truthful about what they were building for us. They substituted an elevation different from what was on our contract and did not inform us until we noticed the structural difference after the house had been framed and roofed and complained. They have no credibility with us anymore and, in talking with other new homeowners in the community, we are not alone.

Was not the enjoyable process we hoped for.

Overall, this has been an enjoyable home buying experience for us. The price was reasonable and we are happy with the house. I would like to see them improve the fit and finish of the interior, however. The drywall/texturing/paint/trim work wasn’t up to Pulte standards.

Overall …my home buying experience was seamless. The quality and craftsmanship of my home is exactly what I expected. All my expectations were met!! I am very satisfied

Salesman was great, Pulte mortgage was terrible, we luckily were able to not need them! Workmanship is not so great, hopefully all gets corrected . Time frame of completion was earlier then expected.

5 day walk through with construction mgr prior to closing was a joke. We pointed out several things to be corrected that were not by time we closed. This is a big waste of time let alone $ having to spend in hotel til we closed. 6 weeks later still waiting for some of the things to be done. Different tradesmen were no shows more than once, Frustrating . It was a challenge with some not speaking English when coming to make repairs. This is not my first new build . My experience with Pulte And the overall home was disappointing. Already thinking the entire inside needs to be repainted . Although Sherman williams paint, the paint seems very low grade. The carpets are horrible and other thing considering changing. I’m in a new home , I love the layout and community, however, don’t know if I would buy another Pulte home. ... More

interior of home poorly done for price. Came from a Dell Webb built home which was great compared to this. A lot of work was required after moving in and seeing what problems were there with this house.

I feel I have a Wonderful new home, BUT, I also feel there's a bit that could be better. Several things are really rather "cheap" like the "pot" lights everywhere. I also would of liked a bit more flexability in choosing my "design" choices. Like leaving out the pot lights. But, I still overall am very happy and soon this new house will feel like home.
