I chose Stone Creek because of excellent design and great options available for our new build. Quality workmanship.

We were not expecting to buy new when we started this venture but we found ourselves having to move quickly after the sale of our existing home. Fortunately there was a quick move-in home available and it had 99% of the features we were looking for. Unfortunately the one feature we would have liked added the contracting team didn't have availability to do for us (epoxy the garage floor), and this was the only quick move in for us to choose from. But the process for purchase was smooth, the site manager met with us and took his time to walk through giving us plenty of opportunity to check out the house. Buying a home is a very complicated experience and Del Webb tried very hard to make the experience as easy and comfortable as possible. There are some small concerns about internal communications at Pulte throughout the process and that, at times was aggravating. Of course, now that I have moved in to my new home everything seems fine.

Our Agent John has been magnificent. He is responsive, caring, and professional. John responds quickly to our warranty issues and quickly fixes the problem. The beginning was a little exciting; but John has been truly wonderful. He is customer focused; and we firmly believe that he really cares. I feel very lucky to have the absolute best warranty representative employed by Del Webb

Our construction manager, Jacob was fantastic. Although we were over one thousand miles away, he kept us updated through weekly emails (with pictures) and phone calls. It was as if we were right there! During our walk-through prior to closing, he helped us identify a few minor issues and then he ensured they were corrected before closing. He really cares about those of us who make his houses our homes. We were truly blessed to have Jacob as our construction manager.

I would have given 5 stars all the way around if not for the new competitive blind bidding process that was implemented to purchase the lot. This replaced the old policy of purchasing the lots at a fixed price on a first come first serve basis. I was first in line for a spec home lot and was waiting for it’s release when Del Webb switched to this new policy. Due to this new policy I had to overpay for what the lots were originally valued at. I wanted into this community so I bid accordingly to win. This was obviously a response by Del Webb to the crazy economy and real estate market. As far as the buying and building of our home it was 5 stars all around. We were assigned a construction manager and he was fantastic, he provided updates once a week with photos and he was always available for questions. Even after closing he has been available to us for questions with regards to the operation of some of the home’s systems. The quality of the materials used in the construction is very good. Good value.

It has been just a short while since moving in to our brand new home. There has really only been two issues that a work request has been generated for. A lighting issue fixed no problem, sliding door screens are damaged need replacements, no word on this and it’s been several weeks. Other than that so good so far.

Both our sales representative and project manager were very helpful and responsive with all of our questions and concerns. The home came out beautiful but did have several items that needed to be corrected after closing. All of which are being addressed with no hassle. Workmanship was very good and and finish was above average.

We had a great experience with pulse home builders but the Pilates mortgage experience was horrible. After we had provided all paperwork several times we never got the ok to close till the day before

Overall good experience. However, now a month and a half latter still have unresolved issues.

My field manager was fantastic until she quit abruptly on the day of walk through and left me hanging. Due to holidays another field manager was not assigned for 2 weeks. Since it was the holiday the warranty office was short staffed. The issues and repairs that should have been taken care of before closing was not handled for over 30+ days. Stone Creek has beautiful landscaping every where except the Nottingham retention area where my home backs up to a muddy retention area. Yes I knew I was buying on a retention area, but I was assured they would do a better job at the beatification of the area. Its a muddy mess that has garbage flying around. I watched 3 men from the lawn company sit out there for hours and never bothered to pick up one piece of garbage. My salesman was good, the field manager was awesome until she quit, the follow up was ok, the title company needs help with communication of trusts, the insurance company is very slow to follow up with obtaining a policy, the quality of construction for the value is phenomenal. I enjoyed working with the sales department. Working with the field managers can be trying as they like telling and not listening.

Good selection of models. Good communication from purchase through warranty work. Jacob was very good at keeping us updated with information and photos. He was accomodating to our requests to visit with some after market vendors prior to closing. Angie checked in out us and our progress. Nikki was so very helpful and patient on our selection day. Getting options in advance was very helpful. Your new selections available in January were what helped make our decision. We wanted the space but not a second floor. The issues we have found after closing so far has been fixed to our satisfaction and in a very timely manner. Some of these things should have been correct the first time around , but Debbie has been very responsive in getting things made right. ... More

Nothing significant, other than the home seems to be well constructed with quality appliances. However, there are some annoying oversights, design flaws, and minor workmanship glitches that prevented me from assigning a 5 star rating for quality and value.

Overall, we are happy with our house. The purchase went smoothly, our salesperson, Angelia, was extremely helpful. Nikki was a great help with picking out our interior options. Our field manager, Josh, kept us calm during the building process and was great during the walk throughs. We had a few minor issues, but all were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. We had looked at many other communities and builders before deciding to buy here. We feel that our house is a good value.

He went out of his way to be certain all our last minute issues were handled.

Since purchasing in May the plumber has been trying to clear a clogged drain and subsequent back up. Raw sewage in the shower! We had to leave for a couple of months and The third clean out Was done in our absence. We Return in three weeks. Hopefully it’s fixed this time. Matt at customer service has been responsive but that doesn’t make the nasty experience a nice thing.

Use Darren as sales and Gordon as project manager.

Overall really good experience, I did not care for the Edmonton options for power windows. Maybe I did not understand, but I assumed it was power for any blinds, but it was very proprietary. It also seemed like the doorbell camera system lacked some basic functionality. The fire alarms went off at 3am, two separate times. So the electronic components need work. The only thing I would like more from Pulte was the kitchen island was cut in two pieces and the patterns do not look natural. We noticed on the model, the the island was a single piece, and we were very disappointed with what is beautiful granite, is now something less. Finally, the two types of grass seems tacky. They grow at different rates and just adds to maintenance for homeowner. Also, the St Augustine grass had numerous dead squares when we moved in. We have yet to figure out how to restore it. We did not receive our house in clean condition. All other issues have been resolved or in the process of being taken care of.

The sales did not understand are needs. 3 things I did want not to be on a hill which you could not tell when bought. No room for pool was not told. Woods on otherwise of golf course were going to be tore down for homes.

Overall good experience. Crazy high price increases due to pandemic, but we had to buy. Del Webb and Pulte were great to work with, our Construction PM was excellent even with all the delays, all was communicated effectively.

You need to ask questions as to what you would like in your new home. Make a list of the items you prefer and ask if those items are included. If not, can Dell Webb/Pulte add them as options to the home? Some things are too costly to add after the home is completed.
