Closed the house on 5/18 with a list of unfinished items. Supervisor wrote the list. Today 6/12/22 no one came or return my messages. Very unhappy with the experience

We all know now that buying new construction in the middle of a supply shortage is difficult and nerve racking. With that said we are happy with finally being in our home but not at all happy with the amount of time it’s taken Pulte to address issues of repairs and warranty requests. We’ve been dealing with non working appliances, incorrect windows and patio door screens just to name a few. 30 days into living in the home we found some work to be below standards and feel they were simply overlooked to get us to close on the home.

Lots of surprise cost that are NOT included and NOT disclosed until you are in home. Once you close you will never hear from anyone. Warranty issues left for months...still waiting! Wrong info and no one will take responsibility. Original Sales Gal was great and then moved.....

Quality control definitely needs to be improved. I became the defacto project manager inspecting the house and identifying all of the issues needed to be corrected. I closed on the house even though the refrigerator needed to be replaced, the sink was defective, and the rear lawn was partially dead. Multiple instances of paint were left all over the floor (that were addressed prior to close). However, the kitchen shelves were not cleaned nor were the top of the windows. For the closing date there were many things for correction in drywall, paint, change toilet top, pavers, cleaning of lanai with water pressure machine, landscaping pending for trees, etc. The construction manager Brian told me to finish all the list in the next days, but I am still waiting since may 12.. He didn’t answer the phone calls and messages left. I travel back to PR during June, I’ll be back in July.

I closed on my house on May 20, 2022. The process has been pretty bad considering the fact that I didn’t move in until June 15, because the house had not been completed, there’s still issues with my home that I’ve not been fulfilled the house was never clean, Their still issues with screens paint on the floor, and so on. I was promised that all of it would be completed it never did there’s issues with the patio door, the whole experience has been a very bad one, the folks at the HOA office, are very unpleasant, And that’s just for starters I can go on and on and on but what’s the point ...

However, after moving in, one quickly realizes that Pulte does not give the same level of craftmanship to the buyers' homes. The foundation, structure, and layout of their homes is wonderful. But, they are lacking with the finishing touches. The paint is awful; you can see white through it in many areas. If you try to wipe off a mark, you instantly expose the sheetrock. Additionally, the paint job (along with the grout and caulk) is sloppy. There are drips, runs, and missed areas throughout the home. The sales experience wasn’t the best. My original sales person was transferred to another community and I was assigned another person to oversee the details after I had signed my contract. There was a lot that slipped through the cracks. As a former design center consultant for another builder, I thought the Design Center prices were on the high side with little flexibility to change things on my spec home that I KNEW could be changed. Supplies were hard to come by during the pandemic and when they did arrive the building was rushed and corners cut. I’m still getting warranty work done after being here a month. Nobody knows what anybody else is doing and it is hard to get answers. Huge need to be more organized and on top of helping residents. Del Webb is only interested in selling as fast as possible. Yes my home is lovely and I’m glad to be here. Expect more issues than you imagined you would have.

DelWebb is a great community. Unfortunately we had a horrible experience with the build. There were so many major issues found after closing 1 month in and not complete. We've been told they are minor. (Not acceptable when we have dust and debris in our home.)Pulte dropped the ball when hiring sub par contractors or whoever they hire. Lesson learned.

That the only priority is turnover and not quality. I had an original and initial 52 item punch list that needed attention. It has been 6 weeks since I closed on this new home and there are still issues requiring correction before I move in. Vets beware.

This was the most exhausting and draining experience I have ever had buying a new home. The initial purchase process went very smooth with the sales person, the design center, the qualifying for the VA e loan and insurance process. Once construction was nearing the end, I attempted to assist the construction team in identifying what items needed attention because they were either, broken, ripped, excess concrete on the carport floor, mismatched paint everywhere, uneven doors, cement stuck to patio door frames, heavily scratched metal range hoods, sloppy paint finish, crooked light switches ...

We had 3 field managers in a span of 6 weeks. We did a walk through a week before closing and when we closed nothing had been done and the place was filthy. Also, after nearly two months since closing we are waiting for the any items from our punch list to be addressed.

If you are looking for a personal touch …this is not a custom builder. They have several properties being built at the same time so you are one of many waiting in line to have issues resolved

For the price of a Pulte home, and the current building quality does not match the price. The poor tiling, painting, and installation workmanship is not acceptable. The missing kitchen parts, appliances, incorrect tiling, etc that was not fixed before we were forced to close at year end does not reflect a superior builder. The current open items that do do have closure dates is totally unacceptable.

Your phone service is the worst. God forbid I need medical help because there is no service here if I need to send a message or talk to a client I need to get in my car and drive. Failed calls are the norm. While you might say it nothing you can do then you should advertise the fact that this is at this time off the grid living with no cable as well. Worst experience ever

Salesman was awesome. Enjoyed the experience. Very helpful. Always available to address my questions. Once I closed and moved in, I have found only a few issues in the build related to quality of installations. However, I am working with PulteDelWebb warranty manager to quickly get these issues resolved.

We love our new house and the entire experience was great. Our sales rep was terrific. She helped us understand what to expect and guided us through our choices. Everyone we dealt with was direct and honest with us, and other than some delays, which we pretty much expected from the start, it was a real pleasure working with this company.
