Covid was not your friend if you were building a house. The 18 month process was indeed long and at times frustrating, not to mention the historic price increase in such as short period of time. However, our Del Webb sales person and construction manager kept in touch with us on a regular basis with updates on progress and provided pictures. Material and worker availability affected the entire country, so we understood. After finally moving in, we love the house and found very few minor issues that were handled immediately. The process was very well organized. Sometimes I felt under pressure to do things and make decisions more quickly than I would have liked. I hope we made the right decisions. Selection of options / extras / style / colors was an especially stressful process. On the other hand I understand that Del Webb had to nail down the specs to build.

We were overall satisfied with the purchase process. However, after signing the purchase agreement, we were pressured by the builder to close substantially earlier. Then, as we got close to the new close date, the builder let us know they wouldn’t have construction completed on time. We ended up with only two days between the final walk-through and the new closing date. This didn’t allow enough time for walk-through issues to be fixed. Now that we’ve closed, the builder has been somewhat slow in addressing these issue but they are getting done.

Overall we are happy with our new house… that said the construction part went really well but the finish work, painting , tile work etc. was on the sloppy side.Things that should have been done before closing were not done or not checked by the builder..two months later still no hurricane screens.

Our project manager Max was the best part of our experience. We had issues when we first moved in and Max and the warranty department have been great. I think some of the subcontractors work was done poorly, maybe rethink who you use. I would have rather waited a month more to move in if the finisIhed product was done better. We still after a month have some issues that need to be resolved and I am sure that before the year is done we will have more. I would like to have another chance to write a review after our year walk through.

We were kept informed the entire time. Final walk through did feel a bit rushed and found numerous items after move in that will have to address at 1 year. Being remote it was still great to see progress being made and delivery was right about what we expected. Couple of items on the electrical/low voltage were ok’d but not documented so when it was time the company did not deliver, but our mistake for not documenting it.

Overall the buying experience was very good. Labor & supply chain issues definitely created delays. The Del Webb/Pulte personnel were open, honest, and did their best to keep us up to date. At closing, we received a high quality house.

While the quality of the materials used for and in our Del Webb home is very good and we LOVE our beautiful home, we are disappointed with the workmanship evidenced by the number of annoying repairs & corrections needed within our first 90 days of homeownership. We were absentee owners so a lot could have gone wrong that didn't. We had a particularly good project manager. However, some cost saving issues, not the PM decision, were a little silly. To not seal your tiles floor before move in makes no sense and cost more money in the end plus its a big pain.

Although our field manager changed mid-build, we had good communication from both managers. Construction was delayed 10 weeks waiting for impact resistant windows--not the builder's fault. Upon closing, we had a small punch list, and our customer service rep/liaison has been outstanding in scheduling subcontractors to correct those minor items. A month after close, we are still waiting for the kitchen appliances we selected during design. One will arrive next week. Workmanship on building home was good. Finishing items had a lot to be desired. Things not noticed until you are actually living in home. Location of outlets in rooms could be better. Wish certain options were offered (walk in shower, stove top with separate oven/micro.

small problems and issues are fixed quickly.. unique and bigger problems are a time consuming process which needs to be modified to resolve them in a more timely fashion. fixing paint, drywall, pavers are not a problem. When the builder has to send their customer care manager to look, then rep from the construction company comes to take a second look. and then a third review by the manufacturer has to be done its a long process that needs attention. My issue Oct. identify a problem with all appliances. skip to Dec. and still waiting for what and when it will be fixed.

We intended to pay cash for our new home; however, because we had not yet sold our existing home we were required to apply for a mortgage to purchase the Del Webb home. The loan application process was horrible. The loan processors required us to provide information that was not ultimately needed and difficult for us to obtain in a format suitable to them.. Although we did eventually get approval for the loan, we did not need it because our home sold as expected.

Project Manager communication was great. Superintendent & quality control did bot meet up to the tasks at hand, Oven frame not installed left in oven. Oven warranty not with oven package, Had to put your head inside the oven upside down and take a picture on cell phone to complete the warranty information. Our new home is what we ordered in most respects. Some flaws are still being attended to as we approach our third month. All of our neighbors are great and have made us feel at home. We love the feeling of community and the variety of activities offered.

Overall the experience was pretty good. There was no communication of the hand off of outstanding items from the Project Manager to the Customer Care Center resulting in a 3 week period where nothing was done. Once I learned the Customer Care Center was the point of contact and found out who my contact person was, everything was completed quickly (Thanks Jodi). The Customer Care Center has been excellent to work with and get things done.

We had a good experience with Frank, our Field Manager. However, processes and product switches were not good customer service. Our appliances were switched from original, no smart lock as advertised, and no impact windows as advertised. The window issue supposedly was due to supply constraints, however, houses built before and after ours did get impact resistant windows. The price of our house was never adjusted. Very unsatisfied. All in all a positive experience. Disappointed that we were not provided hurricane impact windows. Closed with two broken windows - repair person came but did not fix bathroom window based upon anticipated rain but has not yet rescheduled. Other window in flex room requires our shutters to be removed first.
