I was told my new home would be as perfect as the model homes. I have not found that to be true. Toilets' run randomly, dirt in the water lines continues to run into the bathroom sink. One of my shower drains, is slow to drain the water...not normal or near perfect.

Home is average - unfortunately it was a "spec" house and was already built so things could not be changed or upgraded - lots of "missing" upgrades - and a few design issues - how many doorways can be put into a area less than 10' square ? this has 5 - insane

Overall, we were happy with the home we received.

The process -- from our first site of the models to the move into our new home -- has been efficient and professional. We have been very impressed with the people we met who made this happen.

Be sure you know what you want for interior choices before the 3 hour choice limit.

Having looked at many communities across Florida, we chose to buy into the Del Webb community in Lakewood Ranch for a few reasons. The community itself offered an incredible array of activities and amenities among the best we had seen, secondly, the plan designs appealed very much to what we were looking for in our dream home, thirdly, the build quality of the homes themselves is top notch, with redundant features designed to keep the home safe and secure. Lakewood Ranch and the surrounding communities also appealed very much to us for its vibrancy, activities and quality of life we experienced when we visited. Hire your own private, licensed, inspector to monitor every phase of building. Do not close until all issues - cosmetic and otherwise - have been completed. All issues are addressed by customer care, but not in a timely manner. I am 2 months after closing & work is not completed yet. The master shower is still unusable and revealed a cover-up by multiple services (tile & plumbing) of defective workmanship & Moen products. This is the 3rd house I have had built & the 1st with any (& many) problems. This is a wonderful community to live in, but the build quality is poor.

Even though we were in Illinois the entire time our home was being built in Florida our salesperson send up weekly photos of the progress. Our Project Manager/Construction supervisor was very responsive to our questions during the build and spent 90 minutes with us on a video call to do a "walk through" just prior to drywall to allow us to see everything to make sure it was all correct. We we closed the build quality was beyond our expectations. The fit and finish was excellent. Of course there were some minor cosmetic issues that will have to be addressed but that is to be expected. I highly recommend Pulte to build your next home. ... More

Most things went well however some problems were identified but not corrected. For example, the slab for the outside HVAC was marked to be moved 5 or 6 feet to the back to line up with connections coming out of the house. This was not done even though it was plainly marked in spray paint on the cinder block. Now thinks are off and the insulation tubing is cracked for most of the long connection from house to HVAC unit. Some sheet rock mudding was to be corrected but again not done. This one we told your people that we would correct ourselves. Should not have to do this on a half million dollar home. Feel free to pass my review on to potential buyers. Summary - we do like the house and in no way regret our buying decision. My wife gave up on the mudding but I am still unhappy with the HVAC sloppy work. ... More

Workmanship on building home was good. Finishing items had a lot to be desired. Things not noticed until you are actually living in home. Location of outlets in rooms could be better. Wish certain options were offered (walk in shower, stove top with separate oven/micro.

This is our second Pulte home. We’ve found workmanship to be very good. Sturdy and well built homes.

The supervisor was great and delivered on time kept us informed of progress. However the pool company has given us a hard time with regards to the auto fill not working properly and causing excessive water bills. Their answer was we are not responsible for water usage and you should shut off the auto fill control valve

Our home is beautiful and well built. The service follow up is very poor. I have a toilet that is defective and has been waiting for replacement for over two months.

Too many restrictions on upgrades! This home could have been so much better if we were able to upgrade some items but this restriction basically says this is a cookie cutter home at custom prices! If the community had not been exceptional, we would have chosen another Lakewood Ranch development!

First, only the good stuff. The community is beautiful. The pool and clubhouse is magnificent. The people we have met are friendly and helpful. Now, for the not so good stuff. If you think you are coming to this community for no maintenance, please know that issues with landscaping (weed control, irrigation changes for pools, etc.) are not being tended to as many homeowners here expected. We’ve only been here a few months, but this has been an issue. Workmanship is standard and responsiveness to warranty issues is standard except for the landscaping issues; hence the two stars.

Have only been here for about 6 weeks, but so far I am very pleased. Just wish COVID would stop interfering with activity.

Everything went smoothly.

We've only been in our house for now 45 days. We love the overall set up for the house but there have been issues. To Del Webb's credit it seems they are trying to resolve the remaining items we have as respects construction errors. However, we seem to find more errors or stuff not working each week. These are not major items (a faulty electrical plug and an obstruction in the wall for flat screen) but they are annoying and makes you wonder what else is hiding behind a wall. I'm sure they will ultimately get corrected but your fast track process and quality control could be better. You're design for the floor electrical outlet outlet could also be better. It's a grounded plug outlet but it's not deep enough to accept a plug. The cover will not close and must be left off once a plug is inserted. We're still waiting on a replacement door for the lanai (2 months) along with 2 replacement draws for some cabinets we were promised. We still don't even have a registration code for the neighborhood HOA portal. We were told we would receive it within 30 days (also now at 45 days). ... More

I will start out by saying I love my new home. It was being built when I lived 3,000 miles away. In hindsight, I wish I was closer to check out the process, but with COVID-19, that was not possible. I hired a Home Inspector and he found quite a few things that weren't completed by the workers, were not done properly or need repair like faulty windows. I would never have known that these things were wrong, so I recommend having your home inspected, even though it is new. All the repairs/corrections should be covered under my first year warranty and I will be submitting the list once I get the report back. So far, my Customer Service Site person has been great in setting up what I found and I am confident that she will be helpful with what I have to add. This is a bit of an inconvenience, but as long as the builder makes it right, I'll live with the inconvenience. ... More
