Our closing date was pushed back 3 times. Poor communication with requests and issues. Overall the house is fine, about 18 items still need to be addressed.

The process was slow which we totally understand. It started out fine, great communication with our field manager the entire time as well. But, after almost two months of owning the home there are issues that have not been taken care of and it is so disappointing that no one has time to address and fix these issues. They are to busy to get back to the homes they closed on making you feel like your home isn’t important anymore. No one should close unless everything is fully completed in the home because it takes forever to get them back out. Warranty has been trying to help as well, which we appreciate but they can only do so much. We love Del Webb and what they have to offer, however Pulte has been a huge disappointment. ... More

The "bones" -- slab, masonry & framing -- of our home are excellent. But the interior and (exterior) finish work were some of the worst I have seen in a new home. I know that skilled labor is hard to find right now, but the painting, woodwork and tile were downright sloppy -- I'm glad I can paint and do tile work. Right now, this builder using what is, in my opinion, some of the worst water cut-off valves I have ever seen under all the sinks and toilets. I won't mention the brand, but I know plumbing and these valves are pitiful, snap-on plastic garbage that when used on PEX tubing, ruins the tubing. For under $100 more, they could have used quality, brass & chrome fittings that are serviceable & removable for repairs, like SharkBite. The best inside work was from the granite & flooring installers. After a few months of doing some quality upgrades, our house is fine. But my family has been in the architectural, building & remodel sector for 70 years and I'm afraid the days of real craftsmen are all but over. ... More

Renee was AMAZING! We were 1200 miles away and she kept us informed answered all of questions. She returned calls and answered emails immediately. Even now after moving in she is the one that answers questions and is our advocate. She is truly the BEST! I credit her for such a positive experience.

Should not have closed on house til all things were done. Still waiting for glass in master shower. Two months, carpet installed improperly in master closet, kitchen hood still not finished. Woodwork and doors, door frames dings, dents, paint runs.

I wish they had done a better job in using the site survey before they sold the home. the response on issues and back orders has been very underwhelming.

The staff, and especially the construction manager Christopher, were responsive, professional and friendly. My best home buying experience to date.

As a whole, this builder displayed a total lack of interest in addressing our issues with the home. The site supervisor was somewhat helpful but spread too thin to be of timely service.

We would be very hesitant to recommend Pulte Builders as a quality builder. There were so many disastrous situations we experienced during our build. Unfortunately, some of our problems have yet to be resolved. It's a real shame when you spend nearly a half million dollars on a home that you THINK is going to be a quality build, and it turns out that shortcuts and poor quality workmanship are the standard. So very disappointed in what we thought was going to be our "dream home."

The crews are rushed, and the craftsmanship is awful because of it. After living in our house a month repairs have not all been completed

Our project supervisor was excellent in assisting us in getting a lot completed correctly during the processing of building especially during the end stretch.

My wife and I had a great experience from initial purchase to move in. Builder’s team did a quality work. Through the weekly updates and pictures we learn about progress. The builder and his team deliver the work he promised all the way from start to finish.

One week before moving into my home I did a walk thru to identify a few items that are typical. I discovered 19/21 interior doors were cracked. In the process to correct the problem and keep my close date, as my rental expired, movers, utilities, etc. all arranged, they tried to fix the problem. During the process doors were left in terrible condition, trim damaged, walls damaged, etc. After being in my home for one week, I saw the inconsistency of the drywall on walls, the exterior stucco around front entry had ripples in it, ceiling peeling off lanai ceiling and the list has been never ending. My field manager has been very responsive but the bottom line is my entire home needs to be completely re-painted after drywall, huge tile issues in showers and stucco items resolved. I don't know how this home passed inspection. The amenities, community are stunning but the quality of these homes are the worst I have ever experienced in my life. They boast on number of homes sold but are focused on quantity and not quality. I could never recommend this community to anyone sadly and if you do purchase, have a building inspector follow you every step of the way and refuse to close till every item is addressed. Quality and continued monitoring of the new builds.

Stay on top of the build process, the subs are very sloppy and appear to not care about other work completed, many tasks have to be redone because they are not done correctly the first time, ensure all problems are rectified prior to closing or it takes a long time to get them resolved.

Del Webb Bexley is there excellent builders for 55+ community. They have laid plans for excellence in home building, community, environmental & long term health & happiness. I am impressed with their professionalism & treating me, the buyer, with respect and family helpfulness starting from beginning of mortgage application through my first year In my beautiful home. Very pleased with Pulte. No horror stories at all.

The builder was upfront about everything, and worked with us to get what we needed in place - colors, dates, prices. They stayed very close the their date and worked with us to close on a tight schedule. Overall, it was a good experience with the builder, and the location is perfect for us.

Joe and Orlando were great to work with to resolve any issues. Responded every time I had an issue.

Pulte mortgage and insurance were difficult to work with often not keeping me up to date or calling me back in a timely manner!

I was able to purchase my home while living in another state. Purchase contract and closing were done remotely. Quality of workmanship and materials is good. A few minor issues were addressed immediately.
