The builder has divisions for sales, builder, closing, and mortgage. Our experience was that none of these divisions talked to each other; one of them flatly refused to call another one!! So we would get a request from one division, call another division for the answer, and then call the first division back with the answer. A lot of frustrating work for us as buyers. Took most of the joy out of the home-buying experience. Very inefficient from a corporate point of view. Especially since one of the divisions was in a different time zone.

This builder has used quality material in building my home. Workmanship is excellent. Sometimes buyer has home closing done and leaves, should have enough time to get minor problems found and corrected. Like calling supervisor and get is fixed without too much paperwork.

Love our new del Webb Pulte home

This was my wife's and I first experience building a new home. Overall we are very happy with the home. We understood from the beginning that this was a major undertaking and there would be bumps in the road. Our project manager did a very poor job communicating with us during the build process even though we told him from day one this was all new to the both of us. Our toilet had a plumbing issue on a Sun (second day in the home) (thank goodness we were home) where it overflowed into our master bedroom. The plumber was terrific and fixed a blockage in the line (probably from the workers). Our hot water pressure was dismal. I had to go to the clubhouse to take a shower at times. The temperature would never get warm and pressure on the hot side was awful. After several visits by the plumber a clogged screen filter was the issue at the tankless water heater site. It had two leaves in it causing the water to not get hot or enter the tank properly. This took about 3-4 weeks to diagnose and repair. Last Friday I had a steady visit from painters, electricians, plumbers, tile repair guys to our home with probably more visits on the horizon for warranty work due to poor workmanship. A cabinet guy is scheduled for this Friday for cabinet work. From talking to my neighbors this is all par for the course and comes with the territory. I found that the individuals or individual responsible for my home construction did not listen to any of our concerns during the build process and when it was time for closing the answer was "just take that up with warranty" If someone wants to reach out to me I can discuss other items. Almost all these issues could be discovered before the homeowner moves in with a checklist of some sort. Fines should be levied against the workers when issues arise after the homeowner moves in. ... The sales and design process was excellent. I was living out of state and found it very difficult trying to build while not being in Florida, despite numerous trips to check on progress. . Communication could have been a bit better during the building process to accommodate out of state buyers who could not be there as easily. In the end it all worked out but not without some challenges.

Houses are being rushed resulting in poor workmanship and incomplete items.

The builder’s team was very responsive to any problems or discrepancies and took care of the situation in a reasonable amount of time. The upgrades taken were worth the money.

While we had a wonderful experience with our sales person, our design person and our mortgage person. The houses are put up so fast that we found things that needed attention weekly. The field manager should be on top of things but wasn’t. The finishing work tile work, painting, very sloppy! Everything rushed yet still couldn’t get things together so we could close on time. Now we wait to have someone come and FIX what should have been done right the first time or done before we closed. Extremely inconvenient.

Salesperson was great. Field manager responsive but the team behind the field manager failed to delivered. Our friends who built at same time in Stone Creek had a much better experience so maybe it is the Bexley team that leaves much to be desired.

Workmanship could be better. Subs missed the mark in some areas. Others excelled

The builder was great but I found that the companies they recommended for insurance, blinds and mortgage took took long to respond, were too expensive or too busy to take my calls.

We absolutely love the Del Webb Bexley community. Overall, the build experience was great, Pulte mortgage process was terrible and the after close warranty process has been mediocre.

Love the home...solidly built. However, having some issues with uneven floor tiles and am in the process of repairing/replacing these tiles. Hopefully will get rectified soon.

Overall I love it here! The staff and workers are very nice and accommodating. The community is beautiful and the neighbors are all like family. It’s a very safe community with so much to do. The warranty part is questionable. A/C quite working two weeks after I moved in and they were here that day to fix it. Great job! The toilet was leaking and they were out the next day to fix it. Great job! The refrigerator iced up two days after they finally delivered it ( more than two months after I moved in) and they said they can’t make it here for almost three weeks. That’s not acceptable. I’m still waiting to hear about my brushed nickel accessories that do not match and a few other things that are not what I consider an emergency. These are not things that would make me change my mind about moving here but they do need to improve in this area ... More

Kit in sales was excellent as always. We always appreciate his knowledge and professionalism. Brice in construction was also great. Responsive to all our requests and promptly addressed all our concerns.

We are located out of state and travel was difficult during these times. We received weekly video updates on the status of our home and did the final walk through virtually. All issues identified were handled promptly and verified with video. The close process was completely online and quite simple. We were able to complete the purchase of our home remotely and will be moving in soon.

Buying a Del Webb home was a great experience. Everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, professional and proactive. I always felt like I was in capable, trustworthy hands that truly wanted to build a great home for me.

This is our third home build and the first done remotely (living out of state). Although initially concerned, our Field Mgr. provided us with weekly progress updates and answered/addressed any questions/concerns we had. Our Sales person was also quick to reply to anything we asked as well. Those combined made us feel very comfortable with the process. Although its only been 2 months since closing, so far we have been extremely pleased with the quality of our home and the few minor things that have surfaced were handled in a timely manner. Buyers should keep an open dialog between the sales team and their field manager.
